Batbrony 16,055 April 22, 2012 Share April 22, 2012 (edited) My Little Dashie was really sad. Also Dreaming With Ponies mad me cry. I thought the end of season 2 would have been more emotional, but it just made me realize how much I love being a brony . Another kind of brony-related sadness for me: I was new to the world of ponies, and I was starting to love the show more and more. After I had been watching it for a while, I overheard someone mentioning something about ponies. Then another person started asking (jokingly) her if she was a brony, but it was clear that to them being a brony wasn't a good thing. It was the first time I heard someone mention it. The were talking about it being very negative. This is one of the reasons I still haven't told anyone I'm a brony . I'm going to start with my sister; we're really close, and if anyone understands my sense of humor, she does, so I think she'd be the most likely in my family to accept that I'm a brony. Not that the rest of my family is mean-spirited or anything; I just figure that they'd think it's just a little too wierd, that's all. Haven't considered which of my friends I'd tell first, if any, but maybe I'll get the guts to tell one of them at some point, in confidentiality of course. I don't think I could tell my family, we're really not that close, and I don't see why I would tell them... At least no yet. I've been encouraged to tell my friends, and everyone has said that if they're your real friends, they'll accept you. I'm just worried that if they won't accept me, I'll have to find new friends, which doesn't come naturally for me. It's something I've been thinking about for the last couple of days, and I just can't make up my mind .

Since I haven't told anyone myself, I don't want to make any claims to be an authority on this, but I'd suggest just telling one particularly close friend to start with, someone you feel really comfortable telling, if you decide to tell anyone. If not, then at least you've got the MLP community online; we're all your friends here!!! 1 "You'll hunt me. You'll condemn me, set the dogs on me. Because that's what needs to happen. It's something I've been thinking about for the last couple of days, and I just can't make up my mind . My parents don't really care what I do as long as I get good grades and am a good little child, so they didn't really care when they found out. If you don't feel comfortable telling your parents then don't tell them. The same applies for your friends. If you aren't comfortable with it don't do it. The first friend I told was the one I most expected to join me, but she instantly turned into an anti-brony for no apparent reason claiming that ponies are "evil". My other friends mostly found out at the same time and nearly all of them don't approve, but mostly ignore it. Only one of my friends became a brony with me that I know of. I have other friends that I think might be bronies, but I never see them because of different schedules so I don't actually know if they are or not. So, yeah. It really depends on what you are comfortable with.
DashPony 359 April 22, 2012 Share April 22, 2012 Saddest moment for me? Well as everypony else has said... My Little Dashie Also, Bittersweet, A Precious Rainbow, Memory, Somewhere Only We Know, and Friendship is Tragic.... I don't know why I constantly read sad fanfics There's a ton of sad brony music too..... But probably the saddest for me is realizing the show won't be around forever.... eventually, it'll end, and I don't know what i'll do when that happens -_-
