general questions Question Regarding Image Use

Hi, I was wondering if we are allowed to use an image from the actual show to use as our profile picture. I am new here and I didn't know, I didn't want to receive a plagiarism charge. An answer is appreciated, thanks!

I am 90% sure it isn't plagiarism if you don't take credit for it and don't use it for profit

 

So you should be fine with an avatar directly from the show

Shots from MLP:FIM as avatars is fine. Where it gets to be an issue is when you're claiming other people's art as your own.
