critique wanted Countess Colouratura (Rara) drawing

So, as the title said, I drew young little Countess Colouratura! Feedback is allowed and good comments as well.

Well, first thing I noticed that you nailed the proportion right. It would certainly look a lot better if you use a pencil instead of pen (because you can always fix your mistakes.), and next time try to use a single long stroke instead of short strokes. The line will not look messy like this (but it depends on style. I saw some artists use short strokes too). Overall, I think this doesn't look bad at all. I like it!

thanks, it's not really easy tracing down a image from another. Short lines? That's the way I sketch. I can't really do long lines otherwise I'll muck it up.

Coloratura's mane has got to be one of the most difficult ones to draw! I think you did a good work, you've got potential! I'd say you could improve your work a lot if you made a pencil skecth first and then use the pen. I love using short lines too!

Well, it's the matter of practice really. I can't do long line when I first started drawing too.
