Why would Hasbro cancel their biggest show at Six Seasons? It makes no sense, anyways, the movie is due 2017. So most of Season 6 will be in 2016.. Meaning we will possibly have season 7. They ended transformers prime and made a new transformers despite prime also being one of their biggest shows (though robots in disguise is a time skip sequel kind of). They also ended Littlest pet shop despite it being their next biggest show next to MLP. Also, there's only so many times that you can sell little girls the same toy after all. In order to keep reselling the mane six to the girls they have to either make super mode forms or extra deluxe toys (Like Making twilight an alicorn, rainbow power twilight with super wings, ect.). That gets prohibitively expensive to keep making new toy designs when hasbro likes to be REALLY cheap. Cheap toys with high markets are where you get super profits after all. So, you take FIM, you make a new generation and BAM you have brand new toys to sell! its like how Transformers has a new cast every time they do it over. This will be the book of Pinkie Pie. Unlikeable Pony 2,698 December 2, 2015 Share December 2, 2015 This. They've already dipped into that "ultra super mega deluxe." Whenever I go through Toys r us I always glance over at the pony toys. The new ones (or at least the ones I see.) have swirls and sparkles and scribbles and colours on every possible inch of it. It doesn't even look remotely close to the show. it just doesn't look good. I think its possible to do deluxe toys okay (For example, I think the charm wings look pretty decent, and time to shine sunset shimmer is good), but yeah, alot of the toy designs can be very clunky. I hope it ends after the movie, so it doesn't go downhill like many other series, but that's probably just a rumor. They should end FIM at the right time, but then just start a new series, possibly with different characters in the same universe. Like maybe another continent entirely, not even Equestria. Y'know, for one thing, we don't know this will happen to MLP, sure this has happened to one other show -Spongebob- but still, it doesn't mean it will happen to this show. For a fact, I know if Hasbro are gonna keep selling toys' they're going to have to make the show good, so the audience will buy toys, plushies, etc. Meaning they have to keep them entertained, Hasbro and Viacom are two completely different companies' in many ways Hasbro want to sell toys, however Viacom just wants money from any old thing.
