cider float 2,539 December 1, 2015 Share December 1, 2015 Do you think MLP is a good show to teach kids good values? Or is it entirely just good entertainment?
Solid 1,327 December 1, 2015 Share December 1, 2015 I believe it serves both purposes quite well.
Lisa 5,553 December 1, 2015 Share December 1, 2015 /thread It does both. It teaches good friendship values (and some other values), while providing interesting and entertaining stories.
Kyoshi Frost Wolf 42,205 December 1, 2015 Share December 1, 2015 That to me, is one of the examples to this show's brilliance. It has extreme entertainment value in humor, character, even music while also being able to teach or remind people of good moral values in friendship, stuff that not just children can learn from. 2 Redeem me into childhood. Show me myself without a shell.
Partialgeek514 5,016 December 1, 2015 Share December 1, 2015 I'd have to agree with everyone else here so far and say that MLP is excellent in teaching good morals as well as being very entertaining. That's what I love about the show.
Chara 1,565 December 1, 2015 Share December 1, 2015 It really does give us good morals and values, plus amazing entertainment but at the end of Season 4 we honestly never seen much life lessons anymore. 1 signature made by myself.

Broken Gear 29 December 1, 2015 Share December 1, 2015 Personally, I have mixed feelings on that matter. There is no denying that it's good entertainment (provided, you aren't turned off by style), but is it teaching good morals? For the most part I think so, however, I do remember seeing few, shall I say, not very good messages or at least the ones that could be interpreted wrong way. Of course, it's not like it never happened to other shows for kids. Still, I do recall seeing some of them and cringing quite badly. At the moment, I can't really judge as I simply don't remember exact examples. However, I am working on the review series for MLP, so I guess I'll be more capable of answering in the future. Oh? You mean it's meant to be taken seriously? Oops. My Youtube. Here's the place where I would put my OC... IF I HAD ONE!
