John was in the bathroom, making sure his hair looked great. He sprayed some perfume, and put on a polo shirt, along with some jeans and a watch. He checked himself in the mirror, and was met with a medium high man who had a little beard and green eyes. He had some big arms, and he looked overall muscular. He made some final adjustements to his black hair, and smiled when he was satisfied with the result. He grabbed his keys, and headed out the door, he was supposed to meet with a friend in a bit.

Samantha stumbled into the bathroom, like usual, and examined how she looked. "Little problem with long hair, have to use a mirror to even brush it" she brushed her hair and teeth. She was not much for hygiene but did the bare minimum so she had to do little. She got out of the bathroom and down stairs where her roommates had all left for work and still had scraps of food on the table. "Always the freaking maid" she said putting them away an went out the door ready to have sometime with John, how was still her best friend after all this time.

John stood outside. The autumn breeze sending a slight chill down his back, he had after all only a shirt to shield him. He noticed that Samanthra appeared, and walked towards her. John gave her a hug, and smiled "Hey Samanthra, took you quite a while to get out here" Said John

"well I don't really have a car" she said as the hug ended "I mean I still share a house with three other guys...I feel like the maid there" she said scratching her head then stopped as she looked at John "but you don't want to hear about that do you?" she asked rhetorically then saw the trail they would take in front of her "I would like talking while walking, so lets go" she walked on the path

John shook his head "I still don't understand that you live with them, you could always move to me" Said John and followed her down the path, he after all never keeps a lady waiting. "So how have you been? It's been a whole week since we last talked"

"its been the usual, trying to find a job that uses my skills...but we all know that there a very little paid drama performances in small towns like these" Samantha sighed "you know your offers are getting more and more tempting everyday" she smiles at him but knows perfectly well why she hasn't moved into his home "what about you? Have you been doing?"

John nodded "Yup, towns like these sure pay too little for it to be a decent job" They rounded some trees "How i have been? Well i actually got a side job as a fitness instructor, so that's good i guess" Said John and scratched the back of his head. His life wasn't that interesting after all "Oh and i got a promotion, so i'm now a project leader at my work place" Said John

"well that's good, nice to see that life has treated you well" Samantha says and looks around the area "same places as always, nothing ever changes about here" she starts think of her life which gets her a little sad. "Anyway, I think I have an idea for what to do for my career. There is women needed in a movie near here...even if I only say 5 lines they pay me and then maybe I can convince them that I can be a main character in something. Well its not a famous company, its better than nothing right?"

John nodded "Yeah, i mean if you can get to be a main character in some show, that would be awesome" Said John trying to en courage her to do something about her financial problem. They sat down at a bench and John let out a sigh "Remember when we where kids? Times where much easier... And how we where wishing to grow older" Said John and shook his head

"If I could tell my past self one thing, it would be to enjoy things while they last" Samantha looked at John "especially childhood" she sighs and looks around the familiar way "you know what, I want to do something different, even if its a small change" she gets up from the bench and looks at the paved path "were going on the path the wild grows on" she looked to the ton of trees next to the path "if you want to follow, you can" she said running into the forest

John was hesitant to follow, he didn't want to explore an unknown part of the woods at dark. But despite his concern he followed her, he wanted her to be happy after all. He pushed away some tall grass "Man just were the heck did you lead us Samanthra?" Asked John as he pushed through

"I don't exactly know...I just felt like running and exploring new places, like this area" she said walking into a clearing "I mean its not like we are far from civilization, and there should be no animals around so I think its fine" Samantha says looking around the clearing "plus this place looks great and I need to rest" she sits down in the middle of the clearing "doesn't this place seem nice?"

John removed some leaves from his face "Yeah, i mean it looks nice. Just a tad inconvinient for me" Said John and sat down beside her. He gazed up at the stars "Wouldn't it be nice to try something new? I'm beginning to grow tired of my daily routine" Said John. He let out a sigh "If only we could somehow get out of here"

"well, I agree about the whole try something new thing but this world has so many things to do in it...but I get that they cost money and other stuff we probably don't have" She looked at the stares as well "I guess another world would be cool, but what world would that even be? If it was random we could be sent strait to our deaths or have the best time ever" she smiles "or be transported into some kids T.V. show and be bored to death, like Barny"
