Questioning whether I should start a Maude collection

I like Maude, but I don't LIKE LIKE her....., but I have so many ponies already. And Hasbro is going to continue making different versions of her, when my money is better spent on other things (like more Sunset Shimmer). I just found 2 Maude figures at Tysrus, and REALY wanted them, but then I started thinking that I'd have to pony up money for the Maude Funko, and then Mystery Mini, and whatever comes out next of her......I know I shouldn't even conskder it, since the cons outweigh the pros, but I'm still questioning, just becausse I have Pinkie figures that need her sister.

 

Has anyone been in the same predicament with pony merch?

Thoughts on what I should do?

I tend to focus on my favorite ponies once I get a good base on most of them. For instance the bulk of my miniscule collection is Fluttershy. I have a representative of different merch with her, like a Funko, official plush, fanmade plush, but no shirt (I don't have any MLP shirts aside from the Led Zep design) and one of the early brushables from 2011. 

 

Maude I think is an interesting choice to hone in on, but since they seem to be turning their attention on minor characters, I would go ahead funds notwithstanding.

You can always get one or two items so she is represented in your collection, and maybe that would be a happy medium between the two extremes of your debate.  Just an idea. I have the colored mystery mini and the brushable of Maud and I like them both. I think she's definitely worht getting at least one or two things, that way you have them without breaking the bank

If you cant even spell her name right, I say don't do it. I mean, spend your money on things you'll like more! (Like Sunset Shimmer! Wink wink!)

Maybe get one figure so Pinkie isn't lonely?
