Cresent raised an eye brow then realized what was happening. he moved behind Emerald and began to massages the shoulder plates of her back to relax the wings with his hooves eventually her wings began to move at her will. "long story short Beaky saved my flank by setting a fire and hid me at his place for awhile"

 

The Gryphon leaned back in the chair, "and since then we've helped each other out. Now Cresent taking in a young vamp. I had too see how this has been playing out with you too, tell me. who won the first sparing?" he asked

"that's nice Crescent there working somewhat better but the bone layout is different I have a pair of new wings and like a new foal I cant use them, I want to go back to being a pegasus." Emerald's features slumped and she looked down. However she looked up at the gryphon not wanting to be rude to him, "he beat the crap out of me, I don't think i got close." this just made her more sad and she slumped onto the table her wings still extended.

@, the gryphon laughed at her answer "good then glad you know how to teach cres, but isn't it rude to hit a mare" Cresent simply massaged more of cresents soldier's then soon the wings themselves  

 

"mare or not every vamp needs to know how to fight, besides you learned how not to fight with them you cant argue that. also think of these like your hoofs when you grip something with them, if that helps" cresent tried to help with the wing bit. He really didn't know how to help her with this part as he had used his wings naturally. The gryphon meanwhile was studying Emerald like a vet looking at a new sick puppy and said

 

"i see then, you do have your hoofs full with this mare cres something tells me you were bitten recently...two weeks ago?" he coked his head to the side talon under his beak thinking. He then gave a stern look at cresent "how long was it against her shadow?" he asked

 

"well one round so far, and we still have the medicine in case but I don't think we'll need it for a while still" Cresent said still trying to cheer up his lover with the massage. "im thinking a flight trip to help with this" said cresent still focused on the wings

"no...NO I don't like these wings it's too much." She got up and stormed into the other room sat on the bed and tried to meditate on them.

 

Now these buggers are going to go away now! She focused on them and nothing else make them back to normal!! There was then a feeling that creeped up her spine an odd sensation she had felt it before, the feeling split and then went up her wings and they started to change back they shrank to start with, then feathers started to pop out were they should be and over the course of a few more moments her wings and other features returned to normal. 

 

There was no pain this time she smiled before opening her eyes and again eyes closed brought her normal feathery wings to her face and tickled herself it was the best thing in the world...

 

(you can place bits interjecting in that post just end with Emerald in the stage Emerald is in now.)

Cresent was about to follow Emerald when Dark beak held up a talon "this is her lesson mate, which reminds me..are you two...?" the Gryphon asked

 

Cresent blushed a bit "kinda, I believe yes. No idea how it just happened but it could work" The gryphon smiled "you do need a mare just don't bite too much you cant chew." Cresent nodded and went towards where Emerald was "all good E?" the batpony asked seeing the mare with her original wings back.

 

"ah good you learned how to form back to your usual self" cresent said relived

She hopped off the bed and walked over to Crescent and rather suggestively brushed one of her wings against him, "I like these a lot more Cres," she giggled and then headed back into the kitchen.

 

"So you a gryphon Mr. Beak saved Crescent's hide then hey? It's nice to hear that he's not god like because he's been beating me at everything it's rather annoying actually." Emerald remember something, as Crescent came back into the kitchen she looked at him his face was a bit red, she never knew that she could to the to a station, "did you say another friend was coming here not a pony I hope the last time was not well you know what if I go nuts again."

 

Emerald then folded and unfolded her wings a few times slowly rather happy that she could do it with a smile on her face.

The gryphon chuckled more "cresents too nice to be god like really, and you ok mate?" the gryphon noticeing the bat blush

 

"all good" the bat pony coughed trying to brush it off

 

The gryphon laughed again "he says trying to hide under the blush, anyways" the gryphon turned back to the mare "yes I still have to save his burnt off blank flank now and then and coolwhip will be here soon. but here's the real reason im hear and its not just hassling cres. has he taught you about hunters?"

 

Cresent blush seemed to go away at that last comment and was sitting next to his mare friend then looked at the gryphon "well it was more they taught her, we ran into two of them the night this whole thing started"

 

"was one of them a teacher?" asked the gryphon

 

"Jadas and another colt she's training why what's up"? asked cresent

 

"don't leave the Forrest for awhile cres, you too emerald" said the gryphon dropping to a serious tone

"what do you mean? I can't live here I have a home and family I want to go back to, when I'm ready of course" to no one in general "I hate this new life I want to be normal and live like I used too." Emerald frowned and slumped on the table again, her head against the table top as she spoke "we should of killed them you were right, maybe I need to get of my moral high ground when in concerns hunters now." Emerald's eyes looked glumly at both of them.

Cresent patted the mare on the back with his wing "its not all bad this life, really" he said. He said that with honesty more then love 

 

"well there is an alternative" said the gryphon

 

Cresent raised an eyebrows at the gryphon, the after taking a little listen to the blood beat he said "her family wont be relocated if that's were your going with this" said cresent

 

The gryphon was about to say something, then closed his beak, then opened it up again. "there's two way out of this for you two, kill the two hunters that have tippled the price on you or relocate"

 

Cresent's eyes went wide "Tripled?!" he said

 

"word travels fast among hunters mate, I have cresent poking around them seeing what he can dig up" seeing an raised eyebrow from Emerald the gryphon said "he's a PI and yes a earth pony to be exact but me and him know how to deal with blood raging vamp ponys he'll be here soonish." said the gryphon

"I..I don't know if I can see a normal pony yet Cres." She had raised her head and was looking at him with a frightened look on her face, "what if I go crazy again." Emerald really just needed reassuring as her demon was all but gone not to effect her again but, she was starting to panic.

Cresent got up and hugged the mare from behind "don't worry love, if you do it wont do anything"

 

Dark beak took another swig of his cider "again dealing with a blood rageing vamp isn't new to us, this is half a test Emerald and half helping. besides coolwhip knows more about vamps then me or cres"  

 

Cresent looked up at Dark beak "i wouldn't say that much"

 

"then why dose he still beat you?" the gryphon asked making a mock grin

 

"Tie, it was a bloody tie our last match, and they only called it off because the ground needed to be cleaned from us"

 

"you fell down first, I call his win"

 

"your had your wing in a sling I wouldn't be making much noise's after yours ethier" cresent smiled back. The gryphon rolled his eyes, "she was cute what could I say. which im still cant belive you let her loose like that" nodding at emerald.

 

Cresent nuzeled his love "oh she's gotten better, and it wasn't easy for me to keep up with ethier" he smiled trying to calm her.

"this is helping but, I'm worried I don't know the pony coming I have no attachment, I need to think of something else, hold on that might do it, might." Emerald got up and got a blood drink and sat back down with it "when they get here I will have this hopefully that will help." Her heart was racing none the less very worried about what was to come.

(all good mate honestly im still experimenting with dark beak and how he could give Emerald more openings let me know if I don't do that enough) Cresent and Black beak met each others gaze, both nodding. "cresent got up "i'll be right back need to check something" he left the two and went upstairs leaving Black beak alone with Emerald.

 

"now, knowing him you have a lot of questions he still hasn't answered about himself. what do you want to know about him?" Asked black beak leaning back in the chair takine a swig of the appel cider

"very little, at all really, he's shown some of his past to me but honestly he is a near stranger, that I maybe falling in love with, did I just say that? Anyway yeah not much at all i'm trying to put the few pieces together to get a picture but I haven't been asking anything of him so it's my fault really he probably knows more about me than I of him." She fiddles with the bottle in front of her the smell is intoxicating and it's hard not to drink the damn thing, patience Emerald, patience.

"well I can tell you this, he hasn't had a full on mair friend..thats how you ponys say it right? anyways ive never known him as a romantic. So falling for him could actually help him, he's been thro a lot some of which he probably forgot do to other things happening" Dark beak looked at his cider thinking more on the batpony.

 

"well heres something for you, have you noticed his cuti mark?" the gryphon asked

"yes he hasn't got one. this I know about he had it burnt off by a dragon, I don't even remember how I came across that information but yeah I know it was a lantern or somthing like that, but both sides and for it not to come back, it's odd a cutie mark is, well to ponies like there hair it's what you are and it has magical properties, very odd when you mention it." Black Beak can notice her growing discomfort, her teeth extend and she looks on edge, "please take this till your friend comes it's driving me mad." she pushes the bottle across the table to him. Emerald looks away she is embarrassed by her lack of control and her fangs.

Dark beak took the blood bottle he was about to put under the table and then stoped looking at it he shook his head dismissing the idea, and placed it under the table.

 

 "no problem, well sine then he is petrified of dragons, he wont even say the word dragon. ok iv never see him say it but would you belive me it was all a dare for him. the dare was to go into some cave with his eyes closed and fly in and out of it. Then he woke up the dragon, makes me wonder about Twilights dragon spike some times. would he fly away if he walked in or not?" he scratched hie chin with his tallons

"that is rather hypothetical there Beak, I assume there was quite a difference between Spike and the other dragon, for example the Element of Kindness Fluttershy loves Spike, but too is rather scared of dragons and a lot of of things at that aswell." Emeralds fangs were stuck out she still had little control with them, but the gryphon seemed not to mind or was being nice to her so she felt less embarrassed as before.

"iv herd that still haven't met the mane 6. Did see the blue and pink one at gryphon stone one day, I think it was them anyway I was a little loaded up at that time" Creset came down again with somewhat damp main smelling fresher Emerald noticed as he passed by getting some fruit 

 

"sorry needed to wash the blood off from before hoof" said the batpony, who offered a orange to emerald and the gryphon. Black beak held his talon up "im fine with the cider mate" he said  

 

Cresent then noticed Emeralds teeth retracted "ah see your fine. Beaky im half surprised you don't do stand up sometimes" cresent said  

 

"not enough fethers in the world" said Black beak taking a swing of cider

"You do like your drink there you keep that up and you won't be able to walk straight." She looked over to Crescent "you smell nicer, that sounded creepy, not normal smell you know the second one we have that one. And can I have some breakfast now, today has been well unpleasant this morning anyway. I don't know why you put up with me if it was the monster and not me she would have killed you, you were first on her list."  Emerald was inadvertently looking at Crescent when she heard another heartbeat, "somepony is coming I can hear somepony."

Cresent paused listening, there was a blood beat coming, but he couldn't recognize it. The bat pony looked at Black Beak "a shadow?" he asked

 

"not likely I took the random rout over"

 

"not many ponys know im here are you sure Beak"

 

"cres come on you know im carful enough as is any of my cousins see's me here i'll be exiled if im lucky" said the griphon

 

Cresent hugged his lover kissing her cheek in the hug "stay in here" he pulled away gauntlet at the ready. Dark beak also moved up from his chair, it was then Emerald noticed he had a slig for a staff on his back

(the only pony I could fit in right now is Scarlet she fits) 

 

Scarlet was utterly lost, ​all good that some pony gives me directions bet he'd never even been in the Everfree why did I listen there is a perfectly good train going to Dodge City. Scarlet kept on walking she would find her way out of here eventually she'd been lost before and was good at getting out of such problems.

Cresent trotted out of the house still hearing the blood beat that was new Black beak followed him cresent held up a wing "hat to leave again but stay with Emerald, if this is a trap I don't want her hurt"

 

The Gryphon blinked "you know leaving a mare hanging is rude cres"

 

"i'll make it up too her, if she asks I"

 

"you love her yada yada and such. now go find this new shadow"

 

Cresent grined and started to home in on the beat

"where am I? These trees all look the same and there is nothing around but damn trees!" Scarlet sat down next to one of the trees and pulled out a sandwich and had a bite, well at least I have some food for now, gonna be fun when I run out yay. A rather unenthusiastic laugh came from the mare, she looked around still trying to get her bearings...

As Cresent was getting closer to the blood beat he herd a laugh the made him start to tree hope as he got closer, as he closed in he was getting a ruff plan on how to teach emerald about tracking beats. Soon he found himself looking down at a brown earth pony eating a hey sandwich...and based how her blood was flowing she looked lost unlike a hunter. He decided to help out, gliding down from the tree he landed in front of the eating mare "howdy" he said cheerfully.
