"Seems they're all having a party" Milton joked as he finished his dinner. "I should... crash it" He laughed as he bid Inn keep good bye and exited the inn.
Almost immediately after his leave a loud high pitched whine entered his consciousness as he screamed in pain.
"Vulcan!" He screamed even more as the pain intensified the sound appearing to bring a message that only he could understand. "Alright! Stop! I get it! Listening through the wall isn't pleasant!" He shouted as the pain faded.

"So it seems they're at some tower" He thought as he spread a single mechanical wing that glew in intense light from his cloak. "Let's dance"

Inn Keep shrugged and slid the bits behind the counter, tossing them into a small tray.

 

"Russian roulette... usually the ponies here take a more direct approach...."

 

He looked at the clock, noting the late hour. I'm low on pickles, thanks to one of my previous customers. I'll head over to the convenience store and fetch some He mused. He strapped on his saddlebags, bringing along a pouch of bits with him.

 

As he exited the inn, an owl flew out of it's perch in the darkness, perching instead on one of the taps on the counter, piercing eyes watching over the inn.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The last pony in the inn let out a low groan and slumped onto the floor.

Bolt pushed the button.

 

The building stayed still. Confused, Bolt pressed the button again. No explosion. No massive destruction. "What?! What the f***?!" She pressed the button over and over again. No response.

 

Bolt was mad like crazy. Her eyes and horn turned blue and she was burst with anger.

Hooligan was less confused about the building not going off than Cipher. This was because Hooligan knew what had happened. It was obvious a hero had somehow disabled the bombs. Hooligan grinned internally this was exactly what he had hoped for. "Calm down Ci," said Hooligan as he put a calming hoof on her shoulder, "it's obvious that someone has sabotaged our plan. All we have to do is who inside, find them and kill them."

Milton flew down just outside the tower and stared intently at the two conversing below . "Hmmm....seems someone's stopped the bombs" 

 

He called out to the 2 ponies below him.

 

"Would you both care to "Answer the question above you?"

 

"What's loud and explosive and isn't a bomb?" He smiled as he fished a large cannon from his coat.

 

"A Cannon! More specifically, a Party Vulcan Cannon! , PVC for short" He grinned with an insane tone as he aimed the cannon and squeezed the trigger, the cannon ball crashing into the building's side wall , taking down a few floors.

As the canon ball ruptured through the building's top floors, the room shook, small streams of dust trickling from the ceiling. Salleria simply used her umbrella to shield herself from the dust.  An annoyance was an annoyance, after all.

 

They have artillery? She speculated. That can't be good.

 

She grit her beak as a floor caved in above her.

 

I will wait a few more moments. If they not come, I take book and flee.

Bolt grinned evilly. "More deaths tonight? Sounds good." Her eyes went back to normal but her horn stayed blue. She walked back inside and started looking for who was responsible for the sabotage. "I know you're there!",she shouted. "Come out before I come for YOU." She powered up her horn. It now glowed with blue fire.

Hooligan followed Cipher inside, making notes of several cracks in the wall that were no doubt cause by that weird poby with the cannon.

"Who was that pony?" asked Bedlam.

"I don't know Bedlam," replied Hooligan, "but i like his style," Hooligan continued walking along side Cipher, "Hey good guy come out cone out where ever you are," he shouted.

Bolt grew impatient. "HEY, HERO, WHEREVER YOU ARE, YOU BETTER COME OUT HERE OR IT'S DEATH FOR YOU! YOU RUINED OUR PLANS TONIGHT AND IF YOU DON'T COME OUT HERE NOW, WE'RE GONNA RUIN YOU, F***ER!" , she screamed. Then she turned to Hooligan. "I hate it when ponies give me the silent treatment...."

"Calm down now Green Beans"  He smiled as flew down towards them. "I'm not here to fight Villains my dear" He added as went towards them. 

 

"Besides..."

 

"We're Just getting started" He continued as swapped his Cannon for a yellow cane , the words "Dapper Cane", engraved in the hilt. "I like to call this the Pimp stick!" He laughed before feeling another burst of extreme pain from his Cerebrum."AAaaagh!...But....Vulcan doesn't like that"

Salleria heard the invitation. In truth, she really was tempted to accept. Tempted to take them head on. 

 

But her objective lay elsewhere.

 

If i leave my post, I levae the generator, and my quarry vulnerable. No. I stay here.

 

She tightened her grip on her weapon, already holding down the trigger, charging a powerful shot.

"Welcome to the club," said Bedlam happily.

Bolt rolled her eyes. "Hoo, we're not here for pickles. We're here so we can rat this guy out. Now if you'll just let me do the talking, we might actually get some work done." She fished into her bag and pulled out two guns with blue streaks on them. She had a serious face on.

"I'm Milton by the way, though the citizenry call me "the Forum""

 

"Hmmmm, I've tried carrots...but pickles...hmm...Why not?" He said as he grabbed the pickles and jammed them in his ears.

 "Nope...that didn't help, though to be honest, it's not so much one voice as it is about hundreds, albeit only the one talks to me"

"I suggest saving that for the hero" Milton smiled gesturing his Dapper Cane , towards her guns ,

 

"This little do hickey, has the strength of a thousand ducks!" He grinned with a tone both serious and insane as he walked onwards.

Hacktune heard the Explosion from the cannon. "Crap, It sounds really close." He followed the sound from the Cannon and saw there's 3 ponies discussing something. two of them was the ponies from Ink keep roof, and the last is that pony who pointed the gun at him earlier. Go...Unleash Hell said his voice in his head. "No, it'll be too risky" He whispered back. Why don't you just find the bomb and disarm it before they detonate it?. "How the hell I Suppose to know where the bombs are" He whispered back with a bit louder noise.

You have the elements of suprise to them, Just attack them
"Fine Fine... 1 vs 3, what could go wrong."
He jumped on near the 3 ponies and shouted "FUS RO DAH....", You're not the Dragonmare idiot. "I KNOW I'M not the dragonmare, I just thought it sounded awesome." He took off his sunglasses and readied his hoofs and his hooves started to blazing with smokes and fires."Lets dance, motherexclamationpointhastagdollarpercentand... I mean, let's dance mother!#$&"

Hooligan grinned at the pony with the blazeing hooves. "Finally," he said happily, "the moment I've been waiting for."

"You've been waiting to dance?" asked Bedlam.

"No I've been waiting to kick some hero's flank." Hooligan teleported to his hideout, grabbed baseball bat, teleported behind the mysterious pony and swung the bat at his head.

Bolt kicked the hero in the hooves and punched him. "YOU...WILL...PAY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE TONIGHT, HERO.." And with that, she knocked him out.

 

She turned to Hooligan. "Man, I love knocking people out. It's been such a long time since weve done something like that."She laughed.

Salleria observed the commotion outside through her eyepiece.

'Surges of magic sparking between several combatants...I will leave them to cancel themselves out.'

She threw a small object to the foot of the door and headed over to the planted bombs. She took out a small pocket knife and inspected the bomb, her eyeglass helping her through.

Carefully, she cut a wire, confident that it was the right one. A pregnant pause lingered in the air as the wire snapped apart.



The bomb didn't explode

Not sparing a moment to celebrate her success, she began looking for the next one.

Hacktune passed out, but his other self isn't. "Wake Up Idiot" His mind said to Hacktune, but he wasn't responding. "Guess Had to do this myself" His other self took control of his body,His eyes are now red, his voice is deeper. He get up and said "You just made a terrible mistake." He dematerlized himself away from his location and materlized back at a distance, then He generated and throw a few smoke bomb that act like tear gas to the direction of Bolt and Hooligan. He fires a couple of fire bolt at them and shoots a final smoke rocket before running low on juice. he quickly dematerlized himself away from the location.
"I should come back later,not in this condition..huff" He put on his sunglasses and starting to looks for a fire source. He looked up and saw an active chimney in some roof. "Jackpot" He dashed to the roof and absorbs the smoke from the chimney. "Ahh... Feels alive again, maybe I should find a partner or somepony to help" He went to a high and far location but the tower still visible, so that he could surveillance the area. "Maybe I should wait for the bomb to detonate, the flames would give me a big advantage, Hacktune you awake yet?" His other/alternate self asked him. "Seems like not" He sits there waiting.

"Well that was rather uninspired" Milton whined, saddened that he was unable to participate in the proceedings.He swungs his Dapper cane towards a nearby wall , the engraved words "Doors are for people with no imagination" now slightly visible at the cane's tip, before it impacted the wall causing it to explode and crumble. 

 

 

"Let's get going" He smiled walking through the hole.

He heard the explosion, but no fire "Guess the bomb was a dud then?" He can't see everything clear from the distance. "Damn it" He took a sip from his hip flask. He dashed from building to building closer to the tower, "Are they leaving?, Alrighty then, I'll just head back to my apartment" He put on his hoodie and sunglasses, He head down to the crowd, blending in. He headed to his apartment, thinking where he could get a partner, He thought that inks keep probably will know something, He then switched his way to the bar again.
When he arrived, he said "Hi again ink"

Salleria wandered around the room, searching for the bomb, when a warning on her eyepiece signified an oncoming energy reading. She clicked her tongue in slight annoyance.

 

Took you long enough.

 

Swiftly, she opened her umbrella just as the wall exploded, shielding herself from the oncoming debris. On her side of the umbrella, a heat signature identified a lone pony amidst the dust. 

 

Not wasting a moment, she pulled the trigger and fired a shot at Milton through the smoke.

Hacktune came in to greet Inn Keep. But nopony came. Instead, a single, silverish-green owl greeted the pony with an energetic 'who'. He used a wing to gesture at a sign on the counter that read "BE BACK IN 15 MINUTES"

The bullet grazed Milton's shoulder and caused a severely painful wound. "Dang it Vulcan! , Why didn't yah give me super human reflexes!"  He whined as he gripped his injury.

 

"Aaaggh!" He stumbled a bit from the pain before finding himself cover behind one of the building's supporting structures. staching his Dapper cane he grabbed the Green bolt revolver and fired!

( Not gonna roll the russian roulette because Salleria is shielding herself with her umbrella right now. Unless the bullets can move behind her and make a u turn to hit her, they can't actually hit. )

 

 The bullet bounced harmlessly off the black surface of her weapon. Milton's heat signature in her sights, her weapon let out a loud, low pitched alien whirr, and she pulled the trigger.

 

A blue projectile rocketed out of the weapon and struck the pillar milton was hiding behind, blowing it and whatever was behind it away, and out of the building in a flurry of rubble.

 

I must take the fight outside. I can't risk the device's safety.

 

( the objective of this attack is to push the fight to the outside rather than hurt milton badly, to bring the others into the scene )

 

Not skipping a beat, she pushed out of the building to greet her opponents, spreading 2 of her wings and taking to the skies, umbrella opened and pointing downwards. She surveyed the area, identifying her opponents.

 

3 versus one? I'd say the odds are highly in my favour

He's not here said Hacktune who was not in control of his body. "Welcome back" ,His alternate self let Hacktune back in control, his eyes turned back to brown, and his voice are lighter. His alternate self explained everything to him as he walks to his apartment, as he's on the way to his apartment. He then heard a gunshot came from the tower. "Not caring this time", But... there could be somepony that might be your partner, you should check it out. His alter suggesting him to check out the tower again. "Fine..." He dashed to the tower, there he saw the three ponies he fought earlier and a griffon in the sky who seemed to be fighting the three of them.

 

"At least the situation is now 2 vs 3" He shouted. Hacktune shoots a few firebolts to three of them from his hooves and took cover.

 

(think of number between 1 - 5, same as milton way)
