I am going to Calgary Comic Expo.

And I am very nervous about it.

I have never been to a con before and I hate social places with a passion.

I am planing on getting a autograph from Tara Strong and I have promised my friend I am going so I can't really back out now.

So I guess the point of this thread is does anybody have any tips for conventions in general?

Either way, a convention sounds pretty cool. I've been to a few, but only very, very serious ones.

Oh thats how I felt about my first Oz Comic Con. It turned out to be one of the better days of my life. If you wander and observe with confidence, then you will be good.

Ah crap its only two days away, thats not enough time to plan for a trip down (or save any money).

Dangit, woulda been cool to see Robert Englund and Lance Henriksen since I'm a huge horror movie fan. Especially Lance, I'da got him to autograph my Pumpkinhead VHS if it was possible.
