Ivy smiled slightly as she sat on a train headed for the small town of Ponyville. She had been away from her home for some time now due to a family visit to

Stalliongrad, and was happy that she was able to reopen her shop. "I wonder if anything's changed since I left?" She thought to herself.

Echo had woke up on his couch again after being too lazy to go upstairs to his bedroom the room before. He shook awake and went to take a quick shower before heading to Sugarcube Corner for a cupcake, not the healthiest breakfast but it tasted good so he really didn't care. One of his friends had told him about a flower shop a while back but whenever he went to check it out it was closed and he was about ready to give up, today being his last attempt. He finished his food and walked over to the store knocking on the door.

Ivy soon found herself at the train station, and headed for her shop. What she wasn't expecting was to find a stallion outside of her door. "I'm not even back for an hour and I already have a customer." She thought, before trotting towards the stallion. "Hey. I don't think I've seen you around here."

"Nor have I seen you",he replied. "Then again, I haven't seen any pony here in a couple days, like the owner took off, weird huh", he asked, not realizing the owner was the nare in front of him. "And it looks like they still aren't here", he says after another knock. "Oh well, that sucks, thought I could find some nice flowers but I can't do that if the ownernever shows up", he couldn't help but laugh at the owners non existence.

Ivy nodded slightly and smiled. "I wouldn't expect you to. I've been in Stalliongrad for family reasons." She said, before simply unlocking the front door of her store with magic and trotting inside. She then glanced back at Echo. "So, do you have an idea of what you want?

Echo justbstood for a moment before registering tgatvshe was the owner. "Oh. You're the...oh. Right. Makes sense", he said before following her in. "I'm looking for um..I'm nor sure what they're called but they are yellow and kinda tiny but I heard they taste amazing", he said unsure what he was looking for. It was a more that he hasn't been there yet and that meant he hasn't met the pony inside, which was not okay.

Dawn nodded slightly. "Could you go into a bit more detail. There are several different yellow flowers and I know one of those species is fatal. That is, if you ingest it." She said. The unicorn then began to look through her stock. Most of the plants had survived, but she would have to replace the few that had died.

"I think somepomy said they were called daffa..something", he said as he walked around the store looking at the different species, curios as to what some tasted like and added them to his list of flowers to buy. "Your flowers are very pretty, by the way,do you grow them yourself"?

Ivy gave a slight nod. "Thank you, and I do." She said. "I think what your friend was referring to were daffodils. I should have some around here somewhere." The unicorn then stepped into a back room, and came out a couple of minutes later with a few of the flowers Echo wanted. "I don't think I've introduce myself yet. I'm Ivy. Who are you?"

"You're the flower expert, I'll take your word for it", he said as he walked up with a few flowers in his levitation field. "Nice to meet ya, Ivy. I'm Echo.. Huh, morally it echoes when I say that, must be losing my touch", he said after forgetting to do his normal greeting where he would echo his name to emphasize the echo joke.

Ivy couldn't help but laugh a little at the slight joke Echo made and smiled. "I can see why." She said. An idea came to mind and the unicorn smiled. Business was slow at the moment, so she could afford to relax. "Tell me, do you know why the skeleton didn't go to the party?"

"He didnt have the spine", he asked unsure if he had mixed it up with another joke. He hated mixing up jokes, it always killed the buzz. "Wait.. Hang on...I've got one for ya..riddle me this, what gets wetter as it dries", he asked her as he passed her the bits to pay for his purchase.

Dawn shook her head and smiled slightly. "No, but good guess. He had no body to go with." She said, before putting his boys away. To be honest, she was having more fun than she had in a long time and she didn't want the moment to end. "I don't know. What gets wetter as it dries?"

He read the joke in his head for a moment before retailing he and in fact been wrong. "Got me.. Good one. Oh right. My riddle..um...what was it. Wetter as it dries..oh, right. A towel", he said finally after having forgotten the answer to his own question. He tasted the flower he had come to buy and it was not bad at all(going by the show since they have been shown eating flowers).

The joke was a bit dry, but Ivy still laughed a bit to be polite. She then smiled slightly and felt a bit more in her element. "So, how long have you lived in Ponyville?" She asked, somewhat curious about her customer. That, and the fact that she didn't really talk to anyone on the way to the town didn't do her any favors.

Echo knew his joke was bad but he run out of jokes awhile ago and was recycling old ones but the mare didn't seem to mind, which was nice. Of course his mind was off topic again, think of jokes instead of her question. "I came here pretty recently from Canterlot, actually, nice and quiet here".

Ivy nodded slightly. "That makes sense. Nothing much really happens here, but it's still nice not to feel rushed most days." She said, giving a slight smile. "I was actually born here, and I still like living here." The mare didn't really know what else to say at that point, but decided to just enjoy Echo's company.

Echo nodded and went to the door. "Well, uh..you have a really nice shop here, thought you should know, maybe I'll see you in mine sometime, you'll always have fun in the Crazy Box, have a good day", he offered as he headed out the door. He wasn't sure about the mare's chance if showing up but it was just an invitation to a store so he didn't really mind too much.

Ivy nodded and smiled slightly. "Thanks. I'll be sure to pay you a visit." She said. The unicorn then took out a scrap of paper and wrote the name of the store so as not to forget. It wasn't until a few days later when she was in one of the markets did she actually see the store. Ivy then simply trotted into the store and began to look around.
