Echoes of the ball hitting the ground could be heard throught out the court. Students where running around, having fun, practicing and playing matches. Alex stood with a smile at the entrance of the court. He was new to this school, and he already couldn't wait to play basketball again. He walked towards the classroom, so that he wouldn't be late. When Alex was inside the room,all eyes fell on the giant new student. He took a seat, and whipped out a book and started reading. He would wait with introductions till the teacher arrives, he didn't like to repeat himself

The teacher walks in. 5 minutes later Dust does. "Yeah yeah i know toooo late oh no bla bla homework,just let me sit down on a spot." Dust sees an empty spot next to Alex. "Who's this dork? Yo, you should wear lights so airplanes dont hit you at night" the class giggles. But Dust sits next to him and takes her jacket off. "Did i miss his introduction?"

Alex took the joke, and decided to fire his own off "You should wear some sort of light too, i can barely see small people like you when i walk " However except for laugher, he got complete silence, and shocked looks. Alex looked confused around Why aren't they laughing?

Dust looks at him.

"Well, introduce yourself" Dust smiles with a sarcastic grin "I am really intressted in you"

She passes a note to a girl in front of her saying:*making him trip*

Dust looks at herself. "Oh, and trust me boy, You dont want to see me to much"

Dust highfives a other girl.

Alex shook his head "Well, looks like i have no choice." He got up from his seat and walked towards the teacher. He however didn't notice a leg that was stuck out to trip him, and fell on the floor" The entire class laughed, but Alex calmly got up and dusted his uniform off and walked towards the teacher yet again. "Morning class. This is Alex, he is our new student from America. He is also this schools new basketball team captain" Alex smiled "Thank you miss. Well as you heard, i'm Alex. I play basketball, and love the scientific classes. I train at the local fitness building, and i live alone right now. That's about it"

Dust looks a little confused.....

 

"Umm, why should i listen to him during basketball? I mean, he can't even walk properlly." Dust sighs. "I guess we will see at the training tonight what he can do." Dust goes through her hair. "I guess we needed a reason to lose."

 

Dust looks at Alex from top to toe. "Atleast you arent that unattractive. Anyway,teacher give us our stuff to do and i'll be quite, also please. Dont make Alex feel special."

 

She looks at her pen. Then at Alex's table

"Say,what is your locker number?"

Dust starts giggling.. "Oh oh i just rememberd that Alex hasnt seen the gym teacher yet. Oh poor you"

Alex smiled "So you are doubting my ability eh? Well, i guess that you'll be very surprised then." He sat down at his table "Oh and any weak pranks, and you are getting extra push ups" With that said, he pulled out his book, and started reading. Trying to conceal his excitement for the training

Dust laughs. "Loser" she says a little to loud.

 

The bell rings. Lunch and after that gym practice.

 

Dust sits at a empty table which is filled with other people in seconds with one seat left. She has her gym bag next to her in the ground. She looks around and sees Alex. "Oh..." she picks up her bag and puts it on the empty spot. She sarcastically winks at Alex and then goes to talk with other people around the table.

Alex sighed "Bloody hell." He turned around and walked out of the classroom. He was planning to skip lunch anyway, but this girl has started to piss him off a little. He dropped his schoolbag off in his locker, and and took out his training bag. With that done, he headed straight for the basketball court

Dust walks to the basketball court and walk to the female changing room. Moments later she comes out again wearing a tank top with short pants sporting the school logo. She walks to the ball cage and takes a ball and spins it on her finger. She then noticed Alex. "Oh. Hi.... I guess i am not the only one leaving lunch earlly." she shoots a ball but hits the hoop."Darn it" she quicklly takes the ball and thrown it towarss Alex. "Your turn"

Alex sighed again. This girl was everywhere! He took the ball, and looked at the hoop "My shots are probably worse then yours, since i play as center, but i'll give it a go" He walked up to the three point line, and dribbled a bit. Then he suddenly picked up the ball and shot it at the hoop. To his huge surprise, it whent in with a satisfying swish

Dust looks at the hoop."beginners luck"

She takes the ball,walks to the three point line and started dribbleing. She shot the right in without hitting the hoop. She looks at Alex and blows a little hair away infront of her face. "Next time better." Dust smiles. "Lets just wait for the rest so i am warmed up before the warm up."

She drops the ball on accident and bents in the direction of Alex. "I hate this ball"

With a little blush he looked away as she bent down for the ball "So. What position are you playing? You have pretty good shots so i can imagine you being the shootguard, but i have a feeling that's not it for some reason" He dribbled a bit with the ball, and ran towards the hoop, with a little hop he slammed the ball down, bending the whole basket down as he hanged there "WOOOH" Shouted Alex with a laugh as he let go. As soon as he did, the entire basket flew up like a catapult

''Yeah i am the team's shootguard. Also nice shot i guess''  Dust walks towards the ball and throws it back to the ball cage. ''Now, let's wait for the rest''

 

She walks towards him. ''Don't act cool or too better then you are'' She sort of smiles to him. ''Oh and.. good luck on school''

Alex laughed "HA, i can't act for shit, and there is absolutely no reason for me to try and look  better then i am. It would be a bad idea if you guys started over estimating me, but with that said... Don't under estimate me either" He looked around and noticed that the entire team was here

Dust looks at the team. ''Hey, he is the new cap, listen to him. Not to me.............'' She looks at Alex. ''Well, captain'' she says on a sarcastic tone. ''What now?'' She walsk towards the rest of the group and waits with her hands crossed. She giggles suddenly while looking at the basketball hoop.

Alex looked at the team before him. They wheren't physically fit, and one of them looked like he would rather die then be here "Let's start with a little practice match. Me and Dust vs the three of you. This will give me a good grasp on just what your abilities are, and what you need to improve on"

''But.....'' Dust sighs.... ''Fine'' She walks towards and throws a ball from the basketball cage and hits Alex with the throw. The other 3 laugh. ''You sure you want to train us. We can be a huge pain if we don't listen.'' Dust laughs. ''Oh and i dont care for more push up, i bet i push up better then you.''

Alex shook his head "Yup i'm pretty sure that i want to train you, now get in position Shoot guard" He laughed at her second remark "Haha, you actually might me able to do few more then me, because of your little body, but when it comes to muscle strength... Don't fuck with a center" The game started, and Alex had the ball. He decided to charge in, to get the their attention. Seeing that they where all on him, he passed it backwards towards Dust

Dust catches it and starts dribbeling. She looks if Alex is safe. But decides to start going forward, She stops at the edge of the ring and decides to shoot. The ball hits the board and bounces off. "Fuck" Dust looks at Alex. She decides to run back to her side and looks at Alex again while trilling over her legs.

The opposing teams highest player tries to jump for the rebound, but with Alex's superior size and arm length, he stole the ball with ease, and passed it out to Dust. After that, he worked on keeping the enemy team out of the possible rebound zone, and making sure that he was on the right angle for any scenario

Dust quicklly gets up and catches the ball for the rebound. She goes for a shot from the edge of the ring and hits. She smiles and walks back towards Alex for a high five, but then quicklly retracts her hand. "Too slow" She smiles at Alex and sticks her tongue out. One of the other 3 come to Dust.

"Dust, the lady shower is broken so we have to or share or wait on the guys"

Dust smiles.

Alex waved his hand in a it doesn't matter fashion "We'll deal with that when we are done playing here, or are you already giving up?" Asked Alex with a shit eating grin. They gritted their teeth, and the match continued with the score 3-0. This time they had the ball, Alex went under the basket "Preassure them Dust, i got the rebounds!" Shouted Alex

Dust starts dribbeling forward and trips again, Dust keeps laying on the ground this time and just looks up to the ceilling. She throws the ball still holding it to Alex and then finally stands up. "Alex,pass it back to me." Dust shouts and look at Alex,not realizing her nose is bleeding.

Alex wasn't sure if it was a good idea to keep on playing, but if she wasn't going to back down, then he wouldn't stop her. He passed the ball to Dust with a bullet like speed, and started screening the other three away, so she could get a clear shot on the hoop
