That's kinda like saying The Matrix captured the entire 2000s feel. I am not arguing about that, since I have watched Back To The Future and The Matrix many times.
It is just, as an example, The Matrix was created before 2000. And it could not foresee Facebook and social media, which became a huge hit in like... 2005, or 2006?

I think Back To The Future captures the 1950s pretty well though, since it knew the history at that time.
