Do you put different generations together?

If you collect pony, do you keep the ponies of secific generations seperate from ponies of different generations, perhaps each to their own shelf or whatever? Is it "a crime against pony!" To have ponies of different generations in close proximity, to anyone?

 

I have a cubby with my favorite ponies. The majority is Sunset Shimmer, Star Dreams, Pinkie Pie, Vinyl Scratch, Luna, and Rarity, but g3 Toola Roola has crept into the space with them, as soon as I got her.

I have G1, G3, and G4 ponies all on the same shelf. I don't think it's wrong at all, probably because it just saved space. I don't have a whole lot of room in the first place.

My G3s and G1 (the one I have out, the other is a Christmas one) are displayed together. I don't really have any of my G4s out at this moment, to be honest.

I have to put them together because I don't have a lot of space in my room. I have a lot of G1 ponies(I lost count but I think I have over 30, not counting the bait ponies), one G2 pony, three or four G3 ponies(I forgot how many), lots of G4 aka FIM ponies(I think I have about 20 of them), two Vinyl figures, two EG Rarity's(one from Rainbow Rocks and one from the first movie), and some other ponies that I have such as the tiny mystery pony bags and one original Pretty Pony(no accessories and the trigger button doesn't work).

I don't remember where I put my mystery pony bags as it's not on my shelf but I need to get around to find them.

 

I'm planning to show the photo's to every pony here. Anyone also have photo's of their collection? I would love to see them!
