midnight poked his head up and looked in the window, he could hear the voices clearer now but he didnt know who they were.

"If you want" Shadow said.

 

Harley nodded and continued the train ride with Xiro.

Starsearcher nodded and started to back up. Rain appeared to be coming to, and chancing a glance at Shadow, she lunged at her, brandishing a knife that she pulled from a sheath at her side. Rain blinked and tried to move but her leg prevented her from doing so. With a laugh, Starsearcher descended on her.

Shadow chucked the pole side of his Scythe at Star that impaled her in mid air. "And you said i couldn't do it" Shadow said.

Star's smile faded and she fell on top of Rain, who pushed her off in shock.

"What...the...hell."

Midnight could smell blood, some that had a framiler scent, the other, was forign he pushed open the window and fell inside with an "OOF." and as his eyes quickly adjusted to the dark, he didnt understand what in the hell was going on, but he shrugged, "normal day then?"

Shadow slowly walked up to Star, kicking the knife away. He pulled the scythe out and licked the blood off from it. Shadow noticed Midnight and gave him a wave.

Harley nodded and continued the train ride with Xiro.

 

*Xiro looked out the window.*

"It going so fast!"

*She said astounded.*

"It's quite a quick way of travel" Harley said with a smile as he looked out the window

"Um...what is going on?" asked Rain timidly, trying to avoid staring at Starsearcher, who's glazed eye stared at her in an accusatory way.

"This pony attempted to kill you" Shadow said looking at the pony on the floor unsure if she was still alive.

[Mephala 2,635]

Suddenly Starsearcher coughed up blood and blinked at them.

"Haa...I'm not dead yet..." she said unsteadily, getting up slowly and turning to face him.

[Chickey 383]

Shadow looked towards the pony as she got up. The taste of blood he got from his scythe made him react. He quickly dashed to the side of the female pony and sank his fangs into her, slowly draining the pony of her blood.

Rain watched with a mixture of disgust, fear, and fascination on her face. When Shadow had finished, she unsteadily dragged herself over and buried her face in his shoulder.

"Thank you..." she whispered, cuddling against him. She was shaking violently, though her eyes were dry.

*Xiro stepped off the train and looked around in awe. She had never seen anything like this before.*

Shadow dropped the pony on the floor gently, only a few minutes left before she would die of blood loss. He hugged Rain afterwards. He noticed they still hadn't done what they came to do.

 

Harley walked off the train a few moments after. He hadn't seen Canterlot either. He looked around in awe next to Xiro.

Rain pulled away slowly, now too nervous to go upstairs. She started to flap her wings-she'd fix her leg later-and slowly headed up. Poking her head around the corner of the landing, she saw nothing suspicious. But when she entered her bedroom she saw Oak, sitting on her bed, smiling sadly at a picture of her and Mr. Breezy.

"Uh, who're you?" she asked angrily, no longer surprised, and he glanced up at her and stared. It was a little unnerving, and there was something familiar about him...

"Lemme fix your leg," he said slowly, and he bent his head and sealed the cut.

Shadow left the body of StarSearcher and followed Rain upstairs.

Rain examined him. "You look familiar...are you a friend of Shadow's?"

Oak's face hardened. "Oh, Shadow-no, I am anything but a friend..."

Shadow stared at Oak next to Rain "You just cant get over it" he thought

"Hi," said Oak, not even glancing at him.
