"Well, Whatever might of taken him, could easily take you, so i'm coming with." He explained

 

"Well, i gotsta' get da hay outta dodge, Mista Midnights." Clock said with a sly grin as he started to walk off.

Rain sighed. "I have wings, remember?" She flapped them obviously. "Look, just go back. It'll be fine. Why do you want to come along, anyways? I can take care of myself." She then blinked and smiled sheepishly. "Relatively speaking."

"You got lost in the woods a few seconds ago" Shadow said with a chuckle "Besides, if we find what took him i could prolly kill it"

(LOLOLOL. Blame the fact that the person Rain is based off of [namely, me] is the most stubborn person in the world. It's dem ginger genes.)

 

Rain just shook her head again. "We don't need to kill it, just get him back. Let me go." With that, she flew off into the trees.

Shadow sighed and cloaked himself, easily tracking her by her scent.

"I know you're probably following me," yelled Rain. "Just give it up."

Rain sped up angrily. She didn't know why Shadow kept following her-she couldn't do anything to herself if he was around.

Shadow ended up losing Rain, he stomped the ground with one hoof frustratingly.

Waiting a few more minutes before she stopped, Rain landed carefully and rummaged around in her saddlebag. She still had the knife from Mr. Breezy's house, and she sat down and made a few cuts on her arm, sighing in relief.

She had no idea where Greenery was, and it was dark in the woods. She stood up, allowing to cuts to continue bleeding, and started to wander around aimlessly.

Shadow looked around a bit before giving up with a sigh. He was worried when he sensed the same thing before again.

Rain had been wandering around for a bit when she realized that her cuts were no longer bleeding. Sighing in annoyance, she pulled out the knife again, but this time she did one on her side. She went too deep, however, and blood spilled out freely.

"Whoops," she said, totally unconcerned, leaving a trail of blood behind her as she continued to walk.

A pony was sitting on a log a few yards in front of Rain. It was Clock "Ehy, ya alright miss?" He asked "Ya look pretty sickly ta me. Somepony cut ya or somethin?" He talked in his trademark mafia like accent.

"If cutting myself counts, yes, somepony cut me," said Rain lazily. "And you would be...?"

"Clockwork, At ya service" he said with a slight bow "Wow, lot of shits have a changed since i've been ere" He thought

"Rain," she said offhandedly. "You wouldn't have happened to see a green rather ugly pony pass by here, would you? He's turning out to be quite a pain."

Clock thought for a moment "Nah, ah don think so" He said "So ya are lookin fer somepony too..."

Rain tilted her head. "I wouldn't say looking, more I needed an excuse to get away so I could cut in peace. Though as per usual I'm disturbed." She sat down next to him, completely at ease. "Why, who are you looking for?" She paused and then glanced at him with a smile. "Wait, lemme guess-Shadow."

"Yea! how'd ya know dat?" he said with a chuckle. "Black hair, grey coat, funny lookin eyes?"

"Just a hunch," said Rain with a small smile. "What do you want with him?"

"Locked you up, huh?" said Rain with a raised eyebrow. "What'd he do that for?" Then she rolled her eyes. "Oh, wait, are you another one of his terribly overpowered mentally unstable friends? No offense, of course."

"Last time ah checked he only had one ah dem." Clock chuckled. "Nah, i jus like ta run da gangs, Shadow always liked da up tight missions an such.

 

"As fer why he did it, ah was one of dem troublemakers back in the day...well ah still ahm, but dat's not really the point" he said "I used to run one of those gangs or somethin"

 

But, he did make me inta one a his kind, And ah have not been out of that cage for quite some time" he said as he grew a errie grin "I suppose you can understand that im a gettin pretty hungry too..."
