"Magic? Is that the scientific explanation?" he joked.

 

The Egotist took off his mask and his useless boots.

 

"Hmm," he pondered them for a moment. "Fire, can you come here for a short time, I need to look into something."

"I suppose" he said floating down and walking over to him.

[Victoria and Co. 782]

"Extend your wings, there you go, now how do I use my ma- oh never mind," the Egotist stopped himself as he had just begun to levitate the mask and boots off of the ground.

He worked quickly and in five minutes, the Egotist had produced two mechanical wings.

 

"There we are, like Daedalus before me."

 

He strapped the wings to his back using a bit of fabric from the boots.

 

"Ready to fly?"

Fire was rather impressed "Yeah, lets go" he said as he took flight towards Cloudsdale.

Egotist jumped into the air. His wings expanding to their full length, enabling flight once again.

 

"Much better!" he cried, quickly catching up with Fire. "So what can you tell me about this reality? Clearly equines are the higher lifeforms."

"It's the land of Equetria, my friend" he said "There are three main places to visit. Ponyville, Canterlot the capitol, and Cloudsdale where we are going" he said before attempting to explain fully

The Egotist listened eagerly, committing it all to memory. As the two flew, Fire continued to explain and they soon found themselves at the edge of a large cloud city.

 

"Ah," the Egotist said. "I presume this would be Cloudsdale."

Fire explained all he could on the way to Cloudsdale. They seemed to have reached the city "Yeah, this is it." he said stepping onto the cloud city.

 

The Egotist listened eagerly, committing it all to memory. As the two flew, Fire continued to explain and they soon found themselves at the edge of a large cloud city.

 

"Ah," the Egotist said. "I presume this would be Cloudsdale."

midnight looked over at cloud, "why do you like me?" the question had been gnawing at him all day,

 

she put a hoof to her chin, "well.....i dont know, im drawn to you, youve given me an adventure so far, and honestly its been fun."

midnight sighed, "but....i will live longer then you....being a vampire and all...."

cloud shook her head, "i know you want to turn me, but you will do it when your ready, so i wont bug you until it feels right to you, kay?"

midnight smiled softly, "okay."

While talking to Rain out in the forest, Shadow stopped. Something felt wrong, very wrong. And it was approaching Ponyville. And oddly familiar.

midnight frowned, something felt odd, he didnt know what, but he looked around the streets of ponyville then realized they were empty, "the hell?"

Clockwork skipped alone a path to Ponyville with a rather odd grin, he walked to Ponyville and entered. He took noticed the town was rather deserted besides one pony. He slowly walked over to him "Hi, i'm quite new to this land and i was wondering why there is nopony around?" he asked with a friendly tone.

 

Clockwork was wearing a black striped fedora hat and a blood red scarf with a tie under it. He appeared to have a switch blade on him too. He looked away from Midnight a few seconds. "Mind showing me around, or telling me someone who could?" He talked with a slight Italian accent.

midnight shrugged, "i wouldnt mind, and no i do not know where anypony is, it is quite odd," he frowned then shook his head, "cloud, ill meet you at the house, ill show this pony around a bit."

she nodded and trotted off, midnight turned back, "well, what would you like to know?"

"So were is this club at?" Egotist asked eagerly.

"I've never really been here" He explained "Just got here a bit ago. Just wheres where, and what's what"

 

towards the far side over there" he said pointing to where the club was located "From what Shadow told me, it's not open yet"

midnight shrugged, "alright then, follow me." he smiled and pointed out the building in the center of town, "that would be the mayors building and home....at least i believe." he shrugged, "and across from it is sugarcube corner, where most ponies go if they want treats of any kind."

Clock nodded seeing the buildings "Itsa' shame noponys out, i needs a snack." He said his tone changing from italian to Mobster in seconds. Realizing what he just said, he mentally clamped his mouth shut.

midnight tilted his head, "i know what you mean, what are you?" he asked politely and with a sly smile.

"I meant cupcakes!" He said, but his mood changed back "Wait ah second, yer one of our kind, arnt' cha?" he asked.

midnight smirked, "dual personality? interesting, you a vampony? or....one of those symbiotes?" he nodded at the tree, with the windows and balcony, "that would be the ponyville library"

The Egotist flew toward the direction Fire had pointed out.

After a few seconds, he noticed a filly standing outside a building. He stopped.

 

"Fire?" he called.

"Mood swings that are just as swingin' as we is to jazz" Clock said with a chuckle. "Clockwork, the vampire mobster, at your service" he said with a bow. "I has a feelin you knows my man Shadow"

 

"Yeah?" he said.

"Not exactly, my guess he would gets a odd look in his face if he sees me again" Clock explained as he looked around "Dayum, sure has been a long time since I've seen dis ere' place"

(Eight more months after the last Ziygma update.)

 

*Ziygma and Echo were in their usual spot. On top of the house looking at the stars. They were laying on their backs and looking up at the sky.*

"The stars are beautiful tonight."

*Echo said.*

 

"Yeah, they are."

*Ziygma replied. He turned his head so that he was looking at Echo.*

"But the beauty of what im looking at now cannot be surpassed. Not by anything or anyone."

 

*Echo smiled ajd blushed when she noticed he was looking at her.*

"Thank you, Ziyggy."

*Echo said.*

 

"Is that nickname really nesassary?"

*Ziygma sighed.*

"Its embarassing."

 

"Oh you know I would never do it in public."

*Echo said as she kissed him.*

 

*Ziygma sat up. Echo did the same.*

"Echo, I know that you already know this, but, I love you."

 

*Echo smiled.*

"I love you too Ziyggy."

 

*Ziygma took a deep breath.*

"I love you with all of my heart. I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

 

*Echo gasped.*

"Ziyggy, are you....?"

 

*Ziygma smiled and held up a diamond ring.*

"Echo, will you marry me?"

 

*Echo began to cry. She was now happier than she had ever been before in her life.*

"Yes. I will."
