midnight tried to stand but fell on his flank again, "its a little hazy, although i remember you..." he pointed to fire, "no hard feelings though..." he groaned and streached a few of his bones cracking, "ahh, there we go...."

Corrosion grew impatient as Shadow walked towards Ponyville, so he decided to start himself.

<Nothing to bad...>

His horn glowed golden as the ground beneath parts of Ponyville began to shift in a small circle. Soon enough, it began to form into a small twister of sand. The more Corrosion focused on the area, the larger and hotter they grew. Finally, he began to use them to wreck parts of the town, ripping apart buildings and burning any pony unlucky enough to be in its path.

"Oh, this is wonderful! Are you still happy?!" he snarled tauntingly at one pony as he picked him up with his tail. He wrapped it around the pony's neck and slid it across quickly, slitting its throat.

Fire did not say anything.

 

Shadow looked at Midnight. "Something is different about this pony" he thought. "Welcome to the club, kid" he said simply

 

Dark Shadow watched as Orestes destroyed the town. He was glad he did not have to do anything, it would ruin his element of surprise.

 

Guards began to rush at Corrosion. Seeing the fact the town is unguarded, the would all fall.

Corrosion let out a maniacal laughter as he saw the gaurds. He stopped focusing on the sand twisters, letting them run rampant through the area until they died down. He spat a stream of acid into the face of one of the gaurds and then shoved his ruined face into the faces of the others.

"IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT TO LOOK LIKE?!" he yelled crazily. He stabbed another one of them with his tail and proceeded to swallow him whole.

midnight smiled, "why the long faces.." he winced as he tried to laugh but his lungs were still burning from even a day earlier, "aggh," his eyes couldnt decide on what color they wanted to be, lava orange or red, "oh for crying out loud,just jump, youll be fine" he muttered to himself and managed to get off the table, keeping his wings spread to keep his balance.

Shadow watched Midnight. "So, how do you feel?" he asked

 

Dark-Shadow watched Orestes "No self control" he muttered. "If he wrecks the town now, it ruins the fun"

 

The guards started to flee, while others continued to battle the treat. One manage to send a powerful blast of magic at corrosion.

midnight shook his head, "hungry, alert, some things i cant even begin to describe....in pain" he took some deep breaths trying to calm his heart, and the pain in his body that started to ebb away, "i can smell things i didnt even know i could." he had his head pointed at the ground, his eyes closed.

Corrosion produced a shield seemingly made up of reflective, reptilian scales which deflected the blast.

"I've got 'magicks' too!" he laughed as he aimed the deflected beam at the group of gaurds.

"Well i suppose i know that feel" Shadow said

 

The guards were blasted back a few feet. Instead of firing they started to attack with force.

midnight winced then looked up at fire, he didnt know what it was, "master....?"

he looked extremely confused....and a little terrified, he didnt know why he said that, but something had him say that...even to a pony he barely knew.

"What. Am. I?"

"Vampire, bloodsucker, creature of the night. There are a lot of words for it I suppose" Shadow said.

midnight shook his head of his thoughts, too many questions to deal with, "could be worse..." he chuckled softly..."could be a werewolf...." he tried his own attempt at humor, which may have failed, but it made him laugh a bit.

Corrosion easily fended off many gaurds at once using his tendrils to keep them at bay.

"Meh, this is too easy," he said in a bored tone.

He shifted the remaining sand around the area into a giant pit which swallowed the gaurds. He began to walk away, feeling he had already done enough damage for one night.

"That reminds me...." Shadow said when Midnight brought up the word 'werewolf' "Now that i have full control again, i think i'll invite a few of my old friends."

 

"Not bad" Dark-Shadow said with a grin "Not bad at all"

midnight groaned, he didnt understand anything that was going on, all he knew was he was a vampire now, and thats about the gist of it, hoping to understand later, mabey get somepony to explain everything to him.

he sat on his flank looking at the floor but listining to shadow

"My guess is you are quite confused right now?" Shadow asked "I am one of the more knowledgeable ponies about out situation right now, feel free to ask, we have quite a lot of time."

midnight swallowed an nodded, "i-i dont know...what do i do now? a million things are entering my head, things ive never thought before..."

he sighed, "who do i serve? or go too? im confused, and just want someone i can follow..."

"Well, you could 'serve' us, I suppose." Shadow said "You don't really have to 'serve' anypony per se, but you are probably going to end up hurting somepony out by yourself." he said "As for what to do, you should probably learn or something." Shadow had a rather laid back and relaxed tone as he talked.

midnight could hear his tone was laid back and calm, and he sighed, lifting his head, no use fretting, he just needed to calm down and try to be himself "i probibly would wouldnt i, but where do i go to learn?" he looked between fire and shadow, "just follow you? or what?"

"Yeah i suppose." he said "I lost track as to how old I was quite a long time ago. I'm sure I could show you how to do....stuff" he said "I really have no idea if there are any other vampires out there that are actually civil at the moment besides my friend Harley back at the camp"

midnight blinked, "with some of the books i read, i thought all vampires were civil? or were those just stories?"

he shook his head, "he opened his mouth and lightly tapped his fangs, his eyes still shimmering between both orange and red.

"they felt weird at first.....but now they just....feel....like a long lost part of me..."

"sorry I'm late!" Lockhart screamed as he ran and tried to stab one of the destructive ponies with his horn.

"Yeah, mostly stories." he said "But then again, they are the only vampires I know that are civil, i'm sure there are at least a few out there some where."

"i guess blood is my next big question, its not a new idea to me, but i know i just cant walk into the nearest bar and ask for it..." he shook his head and smiled at his own bad joke

"I usually stock up on blood bags from the hospital." he said "Something Fire obviously forgot to do..."
