Fire cringed himself into a ball from the pain.

 

Harley's brain did not exactly know what do do. Causing his reactions to be off.

midnight noticed shadow had gone quiet "is everything alright?"

"I think something happened at the camp. I can't reach Fire mentally anymore." he said, a hint nervousness in his voice.

"well, lets run, you said we could run fast right?" he waited not really knowing where camp was

"I think i have a better idea" he said putting his hoof on Midnight's shoulder. He used his magic to teleport them just a couple of yards off from the clearing in the forest where the camp was. "For the speed, just try to focus on fast things, and your legs should be able to take you as fast as you want" he said as he used his enhanced speed to run towards the camp.

midnight nodded and took off after shadow, following him through the clearing then stopping when they reached camp, "heh, that was kinda fun." he looked around, "dont see anypony though...."

Shadow looked at Fire. "What happened?" he asked the group.

 

"He was attacked by that 'Corrosion' pony." Harley said

midnight came around the tent, "oh, there they are," he shook his head, and walked forward, listening silently, he knew nothing about what was going on, so he just stayed silent and watched the others.

Shadow just thought for a moment, anger slowly building up. "So, he want's to play it like that eh?" he said. He remembered how Orestes/Corrosion showed up at his house and talked to him. Shadow only offered him hospitality and he ended up attacked his teammates behind his back. His guess was after Shadow talked to him he want out in search of his dark self.

midnight frowned, "corrosion, he must have been the one who attacked ponyville,"

he leaned down and looked at the ground, scratching his hoof against the sand that was on the ground, same kind as what they found in ponyville.

Shadow decided to try to chillax for now, seeing Corrosion was evidently gone. He let out a long sigh. He could not do anything for Fire, the only thing he could do was wait, hoping he could heal himself.

midnight looked over, then back at the sand before shrugging and coming back over and sitting down.

Shadow looked around to see who else was at the camp. He looked at Midnight "It would appear we arrived a bit too late..." he said

"a bit too late for what?" midnight tilted his head

"Catching Corrosion, and getting here before anyone got hurt" Shadow said simply.

midnight frowned, "well we could go after him? he left a pretty discernable trail...."

Shadow shrugged "It might be a better idea to rest up." he said "Fire is hurt quite badly, and the sun might come out soon, weakening us." he said "It seems he has heat and desert powers too, so vampires may not be able to attack him very well. And considering after my split, i am weakened too"

midnight frowned, "alright," he layed down, the nights events had confused him, but he was surprised he was so calm,

mentally shrugging he pulled out the necklace again just looking it over.

Shadow picked up Fire with magic, who was still unable to speak and created a tent out a black magic. He placed Fire in it and then sat down at one of the chairs at the table.

midnight watched shadow for a moment, putting the necklace around his neck and sitting on the oppisite end of the table, "so the plan is to just wait for the moment?"

"I suppose it is." Shadow said.

 

Harley got up and sat back down in his over sized chair.

Plague's symbiote spread over the ground slowly as it enveloped Fire in the same cocoon like structure Plague was in before. His horn glowed red as it casted a Seal around the structure.

"Ok, that should speed things up a bit. The cocoon should help remove the acid from his body as well as close up any wounds, and the Halo of the Sun should provide faster healing from the magic."

He pasued for a minute.

"Let's just hope for the best, Corrosion seems to have gotten stronger than before..."

Corrosion slithered across the desert sand in his serpentine form, looking for a place to rest himself.

"Why does there always seem to be someone in the way. Maybe if that stupid dog hadn't been there, I could've already killed Plague myself!"

Shadow nodded to Plague. He got up "F**k it, i'm going to find him" he said using his speed to dash out of the camp and into the forest.

midnight blinked, shadow was there, then gone in a flash, "im sure he can handle himself, hes more powerful then me..." he frowned
