Shadow retained his same look and tone "Well, he did fix me mentally, but wrecked my overall power momentarily. Seeing the fact you appear to be too far gone to most, i'm waiting for the time you attempt to strike me down" he said as he got up, he knew Corrosion was going to attempt to do something "Just remember if I die, I was only trying to help you..." he said a hint of sadness appearing.

midnight smiles and pulls another arrow drawing the bow to its full draw strength before letting it fly, as it cuts a couple of small branches off without slowing down

Plague approached Fire in his coccon.

"Any better?" he asked.

Corrosion began to walk away...

Since Fire was unconscious he could not really answer.

 

Shadow was rather surprised by his answer. Unsure if he was telling the truth, or if he could not physically do it considering what Shadow just said. he decided to say something "You work for my enemy now, you do have buisness in striking me down. But i wouldn't do the same to you."

"Maybe some other time," Corrosion said simply as he retreated into the shadows.

He began to rest his energies, assured that the next time he met Shadow there would be hell to go through.

midnight pulled another arrow, his last one, then let it fly, as it hit the tree, "heh, still got it i think." he smiled and began to pick up his arrows and put them back into the quiver

Shadow decided to say one more thing before walking away "If you ever want to talk you can return to the camp, if you come with hostility planned, i will be forced to retaliate" he said, a hint of disappointment in his voice as he started back off towards camp.

"Perhaps... perhaps I might," Corrosion said back before disappearing completely inot the sand.

"What happened?" Plague asked Shadow.

"Lectured/Talked him like a bauss" Shadow said simply as he sat down in a chair.

midnight chuckled, "interesting," he tilted his head, as he started to shoot at the trees again, "no fighting?"

"You didn't expect me to kill the kid did you?" Shadow said with a slight grin.

midnight chuckled, "well.....not really no, but i figured you may fight him at least." he smiled,

"Well with the way things are looking right now, chances are he'd have killed you." Plague said.

"I think I should deal with him but..."

Plague remembered Dark Shadow, in a way his own creation he had never meant to create.

"We've got more pressing issues at hand," he said. Of course, when he said "we", he was referring to "himself", but decided to keep quiet about it

Shadow nodded "I'd rather not kill him" Shadow said referring to Orestes.

midnight smiled, "im going to go take a short walk, ill be back"

he turned and headed into a darker part of the forest, making sure he couldnt be seen by normal eyes, he sat down, relaxed his body and began to let his mind wander, anywhere and everywhere, he could smell hundreds of diffrent things.

ponies, forest animals, he smiled, this was an interesting, but not unwelcomeing experience,

Shadow nodded. He made a chair out of black magic and sat down with a sigh. "Well this will be just swell......" he thought sarcastically

Midnight heard a twig snap and he was up and had an arrow drawn before he could take his next breath "hello?"

Shadow decided to bring out something he hadn't for a while. He spawned his scythe and flipped it around in the air for entertainment.

"You sure you want to let her go out on her own?" Scipio asked Shadow, now in his normal pony form.

"#Yeah, because for all we know, Corrosion could be watching us now..."

midnight frowned, keeping stock still, he couldnt smell anything, or anypony, mabey the twig was far away.

he sighed and let the bow dissipate, getting comfortable again, letting his heart calm down before shutting his eyes and letting his mind wander again.

"He should be able to handle himself" Shadow said still using magic to flip around the scythe.

midnight heard it again, and he slowly opened his eyes, he frowned, he could see a shadow moving, it was small, and didn't emanate any power, so he didnt view it as dangerous, but kept himself low and watched as it got closer.

Shadow stopped flipping the scythe around and sent the pole side into the ground staking it as if it were a flag of some sort. He was getting hungry, be if he was good at anything, putting that off was one of his talents. He decided to wait a bit.

midnight watched the figure get closer, it was a stallion, he didnt know who he was, but his body was essentially acting on autopilot, next thing he knew he was on top of the stallion, holding him down.

"well well, we got a lost lamb do we?" he smirked as the stallion tried to say something, and bared his fangs, "i dont give a s*yay*t," he leaned down, "im hungry, and your the closest neck for miles."

 

(looks like that bag of blood didnt help him much XD)
