As he looked at Ponyville from his cliff, Shadowrunner realized something was wrong. Terribly wrong. "It must have something to do with those strange ponies I saw leaving the Everfree Forest." He said in his quiet, raspy voice. "I better get a move on if i want to get there before they do."

Shadow gave a slight laugh "I know how you feel then" he said

 

Fire still could not heal himself properly. He was onto the verge of death, but he did not get any worse, He healed very slowly.

 

"Yeah, it really sucks. Only sleeping once in a blue moon."

"Tell me more about this alicorn?" Shadow said in a curious manner.

"I must go find the problem." he said to himself as he made his way into Ponyville. "Something is off, and i need to know what!"

After asking several Ponies, he found that the problem, was that there had been several murders. "Murders, huh?" he quietly mused to himself. "I could probably force more infomation, but I still don't want to be feared."

When midnight awoke he groaned, his head was pounding, as he sat up, "uggh, my head, what in the hay...."

he looked to his left and his eyes widened, the gold armor with the sun embolized on the chest piece, glimmiered to his sensitive eyes, blood was splattered across it, and he knew the reason why.

"oh.....goddess."

Shadow noticed Midnight was still gone, he had forgotten about him "Oh shit..." he thought getting up "I'll be right back" he said leaving the clearing and into the forest, in search of Midnight.

midnight was backing away, "oh goddess what have i done....." he shook his head, "i thought i had control of it."

he turned and was about to run, but instead bumped right into shadow, and he was sent onto his back, "ow...." he rubbed his nose.

Shadow was unsure exactly what to say, he just stared at the guard for a moment.

midnight swallowed as he watched shadow, he didnt know what he was going to say, or do, the guards white coat was all untouched except for two holes on his neck, and a slash across his throat.

Midnight was very confused even too himself, why, how.....he didnt even remember any of it, either that or he chose not to remember midnight had blood on his coat, just spots of it, on his face and neck

After a few moments Shadow just said "Well Sh!t...." he looked to Midnight

midnight looked back and tolted his head, "w-what?"

The fact that the guard was dead did not really faze Shadow at all. He had killed and watched people die many times before. "Well i suppose you got the taste of blood from a live pony now then"

midnight stood and nodded, "i dont know if im choosing to forget, but i dont remember any of it," he chuckled lightly, "what do we do with the body?"

Lockhart walked though the forest as he heard familiar voices. I must be close. he thought. He continued to walk the opposite way shadow was facing.

Shadow shrugged as he walked over to the body. He could probably bring the guard back to life, but the guards have been a pain in his ass for a long time now.

midnight looked around, "i could care less either way, but id like to get as far away from this body as i can." he took one look at the open eyes and shuddered slightly.

"first time ive seen death up close like this."

"Buck it.." he muttered as he used his magic to levitate the body and started to use a different type of magic at the same time.

midnight stepped back and watched silently.

A yellow ball of energy was formed and started to float into the guard. When it it did, Shadow's telekinesis wore off and the guard fell to the floor with a thump. The guard slowly got up something glowed in his eyes.. "Go back to canterlot and forget everything that happened today." Shadow said simply. The guard gave a nod and started to walk off. "Once he does what I said he should return back to normal. Since he died, he is not going to be a vampire." Shadow explained.

midnight blinked, then when he saw the guard walking away...."w-wow....thats....freaky and cool..."

midnight was really at a loss for words, he had killed a pony, but shadow wasnt fazed, then next thing midnight knows, the stallion got up and walked away.

Shadow had a minor headache now. "Oh, you have seen nothing" Shadow said with a slight smirk.

midnight shook his head, "well i think im deffinetly sticking with you, i could care less what your going to do, id just rather stick with ponies who, well, understand the things i have been, and probbily will be, doing." he smiled, "so count me in on whatever it is."

"I think you would laugh if i told you why Harley Fire and me are doing this though." Shadow said.

oh?" he smiles, "well, so far, ive seen alot of interesting things, so why are you doing this?"

"What if i told you, i was planning to talk over Equestria and turn it into eternal night because i have mare troubles?" he said almost laughing himself. He tried to not think of the problem specifically because it would probably crush his mood.
