Fire was starting to heal better now. the wound in his chest was starting to close up. once that happened it would turn to a scar that would fade away within the hour.

midnight frowned, then realized it was a mare, and she had lost her way into the everfree, she was looking around, frightened and alone, he sensed no one else in the area.

he stepped out in plain sight, "hello."

 

she jumped "oh......hello..."

she bit her lip, "ummm.....i-i seem to have lost my way...c-could you help me out of the forest?"

 

midnight nodded, "of course, the forest at night is no place for a young mare like you." he smiled "not that you cant protect yourself, but timberwolves are coming through here at this time of the month."

 

she swallowed and nodded "l-lead the way..."

midnight smiled not realizing his fangs were showing, "right this way....miss?"

 

she blinked but shook her head, the fangs scared her a bit, "ummm," she cleared her throat "cloud turner."

 

midnight smiled, "well miss turner, lets get you out of the forest."

Fire sat up, still cringing a bit. He noticed bandages around his wound. He started to walk around grumbling.

"Miss turner..?" midnight looked over, she was being quiet, and in all honesty it made him think something was wrong with the unicorn, "you okay?"

 

the mare snapped out of her thoughts, "o-oh yeah, s-sorry, umm, just call me cloud, im not married or anything, the miss isnt needed." she blushed then gave an akward smile, "s-so you said that the forest is dangerous....why are you here?"

 

midnight chuckled, "well.....i live out here."

 

she blinked, "r-really, why?"

 

midnight smiled, "inquisitive one arent you?"

Fire walked over to a couch and slumped down into it, it seemed like everyone was asleep. Although Shadow had his wings placed over something. He shrugged it off thinking he was just sleeping funny and nothing was under it.

she shook her head, "i-im sorry, i just.....why do you have fangs..."

she covered her mouth with a hoof, "oops......i cannot stay quiet when im scared."

 

midnight chuckled, "im a vampire."

 

she blinked, "i-i didnt know they were real..."

midnight shook his head, "neither did i until a few days ago...." he then looked at her in surprise "your not scared?"

cloud nodded, then smiled, "well...... i am.....but im not, you havent tried to hurt me, so....your a nice vampire."

midnight couldnt help but laugh, "thats a first, a pony not scared of a vampire."

Fire kicked back in the couch and created a television out of magic to watch until Midnight got back or Shadow woke up.

midnight smiled, "here we are."

 

cloud frowned, "awww, so soon?" she sighed, "oh, um, i kinda like you, your not as scary as alot of other normal ponies around here," she smiled "umm, i live in the furthest house on the other edge of ponyville, i-if youd like to visit sometime soon,"

midnight chuckled, "of course, itd be nice to see a fresh face."

 

she tilted her head, "there are others?"

midnight nodded, "yes, ill have you meet them sometime, their friendly."

 

cloud nodded, "thank you....umm....i dont think i ever asked your name...."

midngith smiled, "my name is midnight."

 

cloud smiled, "well, i hope to see you soon midnight, and thanks again."

midnight trotted back with a better deisposition then when he left, he liked the mare, and he made plans to see her in a day or so,

as he came back to camp he noticed fire was awake.

"oh....hello fire? back from the dead?"

"Appears so" Fire chuckled. "What i miss?"

midnight smiled, "nothing much, weve been attacked by a few ponies, who think their on a crusade against vampires, nutcases if i do say so myself." midnight put a hoof to his chin, "shadows got a marefriend," he grinned and playfully wiggled his eyebrows, "and the general things catching fire."

"Sounds like a missed a lot then" Fire said. He noticed there was something under Shadow wing. "So something attacked us?"

a pony, i dont know about the other, he makes threats, but i have no idea if hes actually going to follow through with them."

he shook his head, "the other, left a bit ago, but was harassing shadow a while ago." he motioned to the sheild "which is why this is up i think,"

"I see" Fire said taking notice to the shield and the burns on the ground.

midnight nodded, "i wasnt here when it happened, but its from what i gathered."

Fire nodded. "Then we should probably be ready if any of these ponies return then" He said

midnight nodded, "yes, that would probibly be best, they seemed dangerous as it was."

Shadow slowly started to awake. He looked to his side to see Star still there. He got up and jumped into the couch with Fire a few feet away from the bed and started to watch Tv like the bros they were.
