(He has like a barrier around him that magic cant get through, but it gets weaker with each attack it nullifies and after a while it breaks. When it breaks, it takes about eighteen hours for it to get back to full strength.)

Harley got up, and walked over to where Shadow was. He had his poison dipped bone claws on now.

Shadow easily sidestepped Ziygma while Harley sent his claws at his side."Hope you can learn fast."

*Ziygma jumped up avoiding the claws. He dug his own claws into a tree trunk and pushed himself off, launching himself in Xiro's direction. He landed next to her and grabbed her scruff in his teeth. He grinned through the fluff of Xiro's hair and ran into the woods, dragging Xiro along with him.*

 

"NOOOOOO!!!! HARLEY!!!!"

*Xiro shrieked as Ziygma dragged her into the woods. They were gone.*

Harley was about to run off towards Xiro but Shadow stopped him. "She gone, we are going to have to go after them later" he said. Tears started to well up in Harley's eyes. He had been insane, then happy, and now sad.

midnight stood outside clouds home having left camp hours ago, he bit his lip then sighed an knocked on the door, "ill be right there." came a sing song voice.

midnight smiled as the door opened up, "midnight," cloud chirped happily "couldnt stay away for long huh?"

midnight shook his head, "your and interesting pony cloud, your not afraid of vampires."

cloud giggled "come in silly." she grabbed his hoof and dragged him into her home.

Star had watched the whole thing go down with a shocked type of mind. She had only been awake for about 15 minutes and something bad happened. Shadow had walked back over to her and sat into the couch with a sigh.

 

Harley just stared out into the forest. He kept doing it without moving or breathing. His moment, life, and spirit were crushed all at once. And he started to laugh, uncontrollably. He had snapped. Xiro was no longer with him, not to mention she was taken by some thing horrible. Who would probably do horrible things to her.

 

"Is he okay Storm?" Star asked concerned. "No, and don't go near him anytime soon" Shadow said dead serious. "He was like this when we first found him. Unpredictable and evil."

midnight looked all over the walls, they were covered in diffrent paintings, "wow.....did you do these?" he smiled as he followed cloud further into her home.

cloud nodded, "yes, im...." she blushed and looked down, "im a painter."

midnight grinned, "these are really good, but..." he tilted his head, "do you ever show them to anypony?"

cloud shook her head, "n-no, im too timid, i-i cant."

midnight smiled, "but your really good, i mean, REALLY good."

 

cloud hid her face "y-you really mean that?"

 

midnight nodded, "yes, yes i do, you need to show the right ponies, get these out there, i KNOW ponies will love them."

Harley continued to laugh uncontrollably. It was not just a regular laugh. It was Twisted, vile, evil, maniacal, and down right scary in every way. His eyes seemed to darken a bit more that usual.

cloud smiled, "would you like something to drink?" she trotted to the kitchen

midnight smiled, "mmm, tea sounds good."

cloud giggled, "your able to drink and eat other things besides blood?" she facehooved, "s-sorry, t-that came out wrong...."

midnight smiled, "nahh, your okay, but yeah, i can."

Harley stopped for a moment. "Well ain't that some shit!" He said with a chuckle as he walked over to a cooler. It had assorted alcohol in it. He got out a whole bottle of AppleJack Daniels and sat down in a a chair and drank out of it every few seconds. Laughing every once in a while.

after she had gotten the tea, cloud sat down and smiled, "so....what do you do? whats your talent.....i mean mines painting...whats yours?"

midnight smirked, "you wouldnt believe me..."

she reached over, "sure i would..." she then blushed and sat back down, "i-i mean, sure i would."

midnight smiled, "percision, im always on target, i do things with a clear mind, and im also good at archery."

she blinked in surprise, "you can use a bow? without magic? how?"

 

midnight smiled and stood up, then got on his rear legs and conjured his bow, "like this."

 

cloud smiled, "ohh ohh ohh, how long do you think you could hold that?"

midnight tilted his head, "awhile.....why?"

she grinned, "new painting idea...now hold still."

she pulled over her canvas, paints, and brushes "this will....only ...take....a second."

Shadow knew this day was only going to go downhill from now on if this was not fixed, But only Xiro could fix him. His own way of dealing with problems oddly made sense to Shadow:

 

He would first start to drown out his problems with alcohol, while his brain shuts off sadness and makes things hilarious. If that did not work, he would get violent. Like a toddler who did not get his way. And if the problem is still there, Then he would slowly fall into madness, darkness, and despair as his last shred of sanity is ripped from his mind. Like some sort of self destruct to deal with things he would not be able to deal with, or understand.

 

Harley just sat in his chair, drinking the bottle while giggling every so often.

midinight streached his body, then came around as cloud was putting the finishing touches,

"i call it, pegasai archer." she giggled, "whatcha think?"

 

midnight smiled, "its a work of art."

"And everything seemed to have worked out pretty good today" Shadow thought. Star looked up towards Shadow. "So what are we going to do" She whispered. "Were going to have to either find Xiro, or wait it out" Shadow whispered back.

cloud smiled "thank you midnight, means alot coming from you."

she tilted her head, "ohhhh, could you take me to that grove you mentioned, it sounds wonderful, and this time i have you and my art supplies....it sounds like it would be amazing to paint."

 

midnight shrugged, "i dont see the harm," he grinned, "you could meet the others."

 

(bad idea i know, but he dosent know about what happened XD so stuff can happen)

Fire and Anarchy were watching Harley from across the clearing. They got the message that staying away from Harley at the moment was a good idea.

midnight and cloud were walking up the trail when he realized the air of happyness that had been in the camp a few hours earlier, was gone......"oh....this isnt good."

cloud frowned, "whats wrong?"

midnight shook his head, "the air around the camp....somethings....off, i can sense it from here."

Harley's inner mind wanted to go out looking for Xiro. But he could not, he literally could not do it. He just sat there laughing at what was happening.
