open Uprising

Rain made a small gasping noise of pain when Shadow bit her but it gave way to a small, gentle smile as she waited for him to finish. She had been bitten by him once before but, on her leg, and this new sensation was entirely different and much more unpleasant. She was helping him, though, and that's all that really mattered to her in that moment.

Shadow continued to drink from Rain's neck, his wounds visibly healing as he did so. "This is a horrible idea" he thought. When he had taken enough to sustain his injuries, he latched off from her neck.

Rain blinked slowly and smiled stupidly at him. "Better?" she asked hazily.

[Chickey 383]

Shadow nodded, hoping for the best. His eye seemed to turn back to normal and his would had somehow fully healed. He used his magic to create two towels. One to clean off the blood from his eye, the other to stop any bleeding from Rain's neck. His colors slowly faded back to blue afterward.

Rain held the towel to her neck and continued to smile at him, then noticed they were still squished close together.

"Ack! Sorry," she spluttered, and shuffled away a tiny bit. "Personal space and all."

Shadow nodded, but he noticed one thing was wrong with his body. "One second" he said as he walked into another room. A snapping sounds was heard as he set his broken bones back together. He walked out of the room trying to keep slight smile.

Rain looked a little grossed out but smiled at him as well as she stood up, staggering slightly. Forcing herself to remain upright, she tried to sound cheerful.

"So what now?"

[Chickey 383]

"Well, i don't really know actually" Shadow said "I suppose i will probably rest up here for now" he said trying to not mention what could happen to Rain.

[Mephala 2,635]

Rain nodded. "Well I don't want to leave you here alone...that is, if you don't mind..." She shot a nervous look at the door.

[Chickey 383]

"Of course you can stay" He said "After all, half of it is sort of yours anyways"

[Mephala 2,635]

Rain tilted her head to the side in confusion. "How so? Why'd you never tell me?"

cloud swallowed, "do you need anything from me?"

midnight shook his head and smiled, "no," he winced, if he could get her to bed, he needed to set his broken ribs and leg, "i shall be fine, but im worried about you, your pale," he touched her cheek "i think you need to lie down,"

"I never got the chance to tell you, because i killed you..." he said obviously saddened when he said it. "When we were together, i bought this house about a week before i went insane." he explained "I suppose it was a surprise"

"Oh," said Rain stupidly, looking around. Suddenly her eyes started to fill with tears and she hung her head.

"I'm sorry. For everything. I don't know why I ever said yes to Six...he's more like my older brother." She touched the picture, the corner bloody, and hiccoughed.

"Why would you be apologizing to me?" he asked "I killed you, and brought you into this whole mess." he said

[Mephala 2,635]

"Yeah, but I was the one who made you go insane half the time," she argued hotly. "I was-AM-a total idiot."

[Chickey 383]

"That was my own fault. No one goes insane over the things i do" he said

[Mephala 2,635]

"Okay, fine, it's both our faults then. But I get to apologize first. I'm so sorry." She then hugged him tightly.

[Prince Midnight 817]

cloud nodded, "i-ill be on the couch, if you need anything p-please ask." she walked over to the couch and was out within a minuite.

midnight sighed, he didnt want to bring this on her, he shouldnt have in any case.

but he knew a bite to the leg wouldnt turn her.....at least he hoped it wouldnt

Shadow hugged her back "I'm sorry too" he said.

Rain didn't know what else to do so she just kept hugging him. "So, uh..."

Shadow did the same "Yeah..." he said with a chuckle.

 

 

Omega lost attention of whatever else was happening, he continued to sit on the cloud and softly hum a song.

"Uhm..." Rain cleared her throat and blushed. "Yeah. So...feeling better, right?" She looked pointedly at his leg.

"Yes, thankfully i am" he said "And i have you to thank for that"

midnight shook his head and kissed clouds cheek softly, "no sense in bringing any danger to you, thank you for helping." he left a note for her telling her where he went.

midnight groaned and made his way to the door and outside, he had to pick up some things he had dropped where the fight had occurred.
