MANEHATTEN

 

Loud music thumped through the alley ways as the biggest underground rave in all of Manehatten was being thrown. This Rave also has a dark secret that will soon be discovered as sounds of screams filled the air as the rave became a blood bath as the guests were being eaten alive by the demons of the night who feed on blood the creatures were feeding but were interrupted by the door being kicked in the creatures turned their attention toward the door. There stood a light brown mare wearing a black duster, black boots, sunglasses, and around her neck was a crucifix of Faust. "Am I interrupting anything," She said with a smile on her face. The vampires screeched an ungodly screech and they attacked, The mare reacted by reaching into her coat and pulled two pistols out and began firing at the demons each one she shot burst into ashes but soon they got close enough to strike at her but she quickly jumped out of the way leaving a grenade behind which detonated into intense solar light killing most of the vampires in the club except for one. The Mare smiled as she grabbed the shivering demon and put her pistol to it's head. "Now if you do not want to end up like your friends here you will tell me where SHE is." She said as she pointed at the dust covered floor.

 

"OKAY OKAY! SHE is in Las Pegasus, she is in Las Pegasus !" The Vampire screamed.

 

"Thank you," The mare said as she pulled the trigger turning the vampire to dust. "Damn Vampires," She muttered to herself as her cell phone rang answering it. "Moon here I have the next location of my target."

 

"good now you can finish the job," A voice said on the other end of the phone before it hung up.

 

"Well guess like i gotta catch a train to Las Pegasus," Mystic moon said to her self as she exited the club.

12:52 PM.

 

Flash was hurrying home, the Vamps had been getting more aggressive lately and skirmishes more common. He had been sneaking down a dark alley when he heard some gunshots.

 

'Must be a fight somewhere nearby.' Flash thought.

 

He heard hoofsteps coming in his direction and dove behind a dumpster. A light brown mare dressed in black emerged from a club and started walking away.

 

'Now I know where those gunshots came from.' He thought.

Mystic Moon knew the stallion was in the alley she smirked to herself as she headed for the train station,

 

 

 

 

Las Pegasus

 

Along the neon lit streets a blood red stallion with a messy black mane, in a black suit was sitting with a white unicorn mare with neon green hair she wore a tube top and blue jeans. "Black Blood i have received information that the temple of light is looking for me. It seems more players are about to join our little war." The mare said looking at the hulking stallion. "Make sure to give them a proper welcome."

 

"yes Lady Revamp," the hulking stallion said with a bow.

Mystic Moon knew the stallion was in the alley she smirked to herself as she headed for the train station,

 

 

 

 

Las Pegasus

 

Along the neon lit streets a blood red stallion with a messy black mane, in a black suit was sitting with a white unicorn mare with neon green hair she wore a tube top and blue jeans. "Black Blood i have received information that the temple of light is looking for me. It seems more players are about to join our little war." The mare said looking at the hulking stallion. "Make sure to give them a proper welcome."

 

"yes Lady Revamp," the hulking stallion said with a bow.

Flash followed the mare to the train station, and purchased a ticket for the same train.

 

'I've got a feeling that she's a monster hunter. But I'm not yet entirely sure.' Flash thought.

 

'I just hope she hasn't realized that I'm following her yet. If she has, then I'm in a load of trouble. Wait a minute, why did I ever follow her in the first place?'

 

After a moment of thought as he followed her onto the train inconspicuously, he came to a conclusion. 'She knows I'm here, but doesn't want to make a scene. And I'm sure there's something important going on, and she's involved with it somehow.'

As Mystic boarded the train she sensed something was off about it but couldn't put her finger on it, then she noticed the stallion from the alley way board the train, she pretended to not notice him. 'Just keep cool and you just might get out alive.' Flash thought.

Mystic laughed at how Nervous Flash's voice was, so she decided to play along for the sheer fun of it. "Well I could have sworn it was you i saw in the alley but i could have been mistaken. So why you going to Las Pegasus? Vacation? To gamble your life savings away? or are you just going to meet up with somepony?" Mystic said as she stared at Flash to see his reaction to her question.

'I can tell she doesn't buy this but I might be able to prolong this enough to make a getaway.' Flash thought.

Mystic's expression shown some anger but it quickly went back to her smile,"well you are right I am not the gambling type I am going to Las pegasus because my job kinda demands it." Mystic Put her hand on Flash's shoulder,"Also I have some unfinished business with some old friends. By the way my names Mystic Moon." She said as she got up and walked into the next train car.

A mare sat in the train car already. Her face was concealed by solid, stiff spikes of mane, striped dark grey and red. Her visible arm was a  slightly lighter shade of gray. She wore a dark red, blank T-shirt and ragged jeans that were neither loose nor tight. A horn, shattered at the tip, was visible from the doorway. She drummed her fingers against the seat next to her.

 

Her most striking feature, however, was the blank, scarlet light that streamed steadily from behind her mane. One of her ragged ears turned to the train-car door, but she made no other movement.

in the back of the train car there sat a blue unicorn mare wearing a black suit her eyes concealed by black sunglasses, her phone ringed when she answered it she was greeted by her queens voice. "My loyal subject i do believe you are currently on the train to Las Pegasus, meaning I will need you to kill everypony on that train, I have reason to believe a Hunter is on their way to Las Pegasus so this is just a precaution."

 

"yes my lady," the mare said as she stood up and removed her sunglasses to reveal blood red eyes which focused on the only two ponies in the train car a strange looking unicorn mare and a Pegasus stallion. She will deal with the earth pony mare when she comes back.

Flash noticed the mare get up, take off her sunglasses, and stare at him. He instantly got the feeling he was being targeted. So he stood up and causally walked to the other end of the train car, to see if the red eyed mare would follow him.

 

'Great, first a monster hunter, and now whatever she is. Can I just get a break?' He thought.

The mare turned her head. Though her right eye was hidden by her mane, her left was brilliant red. The look she gave them, however, was anything but bright.

 

"I presume these fine ponies are to be my roommates for this trip," she said. Her voice was hoarse, harsh. Red light continued to pour from the right side of her face, throwing the other side into sharp relief. Turned towards the occupants, they could very clearly see the sheath on her lap and the hint of a sword peeking out. "I hope this trip is to be a pleasant one," she said.

The mare stared at the beaten up unicorn and her sword and smiled showing rows of of razor sharp teeth, "I am sorry ma'am but I am afraid this will not be a pleasant ride pony," the mare said before she leaped across the train car toward the strange unicorn.

Mystic yawned this train ride was boring her she expected to be attacked by now but she just shrugged her shoulders and went to sleep completely oblivious to what was happening in the next car.

The mare's eye widened just the tiniest bit. Neon-red light swirled up her horn, and sparks spat from its broken tip. A red line appeared in front of her face, then another, then another, until a grid of them lay suspended in midair. With this barrier between them, the mare jumped up and grabbed her sword. Drawing it, she hissed at the other mare.

The mare was not surprised by the grid the unicorn made but the hissing was a little much the mare laughed at the ridiculousness but she stopped quickly. the mare knew she had to be cautious she didn't know which pony was the hunter so she decided to change her approach. the mare suddenly vanished when she appeared her fist hit the unicorn in the stomach sending her into the wall on the other side of the train car.

The unicorn caught her breath surprisingly quickly, swinging her blade towards the other mare on reflex. She was grinning; Her teeth were yellow and crooked, like old tombstones leaning on one another. With a yell, she charged towards her opponent, aiming straight for her throat. Evidently, she was not the sort to waste time with fencing.

'Wow, they use swords!' Flash thought, "Though I've always preferred knives." He then said out loud, and moved over towards the fight, slipping twin knives out of the sleeves of his navy blue jacket.

 

'If I can just sneak up behind her, I'll be able to make this quick.' He thought as he silently crept towards the battle.

The mare dodged the attack easily and caught the unicorn off guard by a quick jab to her ribs the force alone caused the mare's breath to expel completely causing her to stagger back seeing as a way to end it quickly it's too bad she was having so much fun. then she sensed the stallion approaching, "Well ain't my lucky day!" She yelled as she grabbed the choking Unicorn and threw her into the pegasus sneaking behind her. laughing at the sight of two ponies tangled up on the floor she then reached up to her horn which glowed a bright red color and pulled her hand down and materialized a Scythe. "Now I need to wrap this up I have an Earth pony to kill." She said as she raised her scythe to bring it down upon the two ponies but was interrupted by a water Balloon hitting her in the face and and she screamed as her skin began to burn. Her shape changed into a demon like form. She spread her wings and flew out a window.

 

"Well hello there," Mystic Moon said as she walked over to Flash and the mysterious Unicorn mare to see if the Demon did sever damage.

The mare untangled her limbs, standing up. She brushed dust casually off of her shirt before extending a hand. It was noticeably missing two fingers.

 

"I suppose I owe you a thank you," she rasped, "though I, personally, am curious as to what that creature would have looked like de-limbed."

 

Shaking hands, she nodded. "My name's Ironblade, nice to meet you."

The Demon made haste to Las Pegasus and flew to a night club and transformed back into the mare once inside she located Lady Revamp who was sitting at the bar flirting with some mare who were clearly drunk. "My lady I have identified the Hunter as Mystic Moon or as you Know her Dread Quill."

 

"OOH so the hunter I nearly killed in the frozen north  is coming back for more." Revamp said with a chuckle, "Anything else?"

 

"Yes a werewolf and a strange unicorn are also on there way here as well."

 

"ooh I cant wait to see what they do once they get here."

"I knew you were a monster hunter! But, does that mean that you're going to kill me? Because I'm pretty sure you know what I am." Flash said, his voice growing wary as he spoke.

Flash sighed with relief. "So I'm good then, I made it through another day alive." He then sat back down. "Assassin huh? Why was she after us? I mean, I've never really done anything wrong, except maybe steal one donut. But that's not important, how are we gonna hide what just happened?"
