It was a beatifull, sunny morning. Another day in the Sword Art Online world. A girl sat on a log in the middle of a forest at level 50. She was looking at the sun and sight, she knew this sun was not the real sun, this was just a fake prokection of a fake sunn in a fake world. She looked down, at the silver colored bow laying on her lap, she tilted it so the sun reflected in it. She sight again and wondered how a fake world could look and feel so real. The colors were beautifull, the sounds were autentic and even the grass smelled like it was real. Sometimes she almost forgot that this was a game.

 

She stood up, stretched her legs and put her bow away. This was the only thing that was better as in the real world, the fact that you could your stuff magically disappear just by clicking on a menu button. On the top corner of the menu she could see her name: Yuna. Not luna adagio, the poor girl that worked at the bakery and tried to raise her little brother. Here, she was yuna, the fastest and sneakyest archer in whole SAO. She heard people talk about her, but most stories were hightly exaggerated. The stories were about a fearless warior that attacked the targed from behind and was gone before anyone saw her, but in reality she was just too scared to come near the tarted so she eliminated it from a distance.

 

She had started to walk towards the town. She heard rumours about a blacksmith that was supposed to be the best of the whole game. She was planning on paying him a visit today, she saved up a bit of money and she hoped he could repair and maybe even improve her bow. It got damaged in the last battle and with a damaged bow you couldn't take out bosses. She really hoped that this blacksmith could help her.

 

And when she thought that she reached the edge of the forest. Just a little further, on top of the next hill, was the town were the blacksmith was supposed to be.

This world was without a doubt absolutely stunning, but at the same time he hated it with a burning passion. It was kind of a love hate thing honestly. He opened up his shop, and was instantly met with a giant line forming. However today, he didn't really feel like serving them. Not that he wanted more money anyway. His services has provided him with enough money for the rest of his play career. He quickly scanned the crowd, and picked the ones that seemed like they needed a repair. Nothing sucked more than a broken weapon.

 

After the quick repairs, he was about to close up the shop and go dungeon killing, until he spotted a girl who seemed like she was on her way here.

Yuna walked into the town, her bow on her back. She tried not to look anyone in the eye and stay away from the crouds as much as possible but that wasn't possible since there apeared to be a gigantic crown in front of the blacksmith shop. She decided not to join in the line but just wait from the side and look at what was happening. She saw the blacksmith sending away all his customers except the ones that seemed to have a broken weapon.

 

She looked at her own bow, it was heavily damaged and was about to break. The silver coating wasn't shining anymore and the string was really frilly at some places. She felt bad for her bow, in a weird way she felt like she was treating it badly. This bow had saved her life so many times and now it was about to break, it just wasn't right. She really hoped this famous blacksmith could help her.

 

Then she looked up again to the blacksmith shop, the people were gone and the blacksmith seemed to have noticed her. She didn't really know what to do so she just looked the other way. But then she realised that he would never repair her bow if she wouldn't ask him so she straigthened her shoulders and walked up to him.

Viktor saw the girl approaching him. He caught a glance of her level, and instantly got excited. She was as high as him. He stuck out his hand in a greeting gesture "Hello, the name is Viktor. I believe you are in need of my services?" Asked Viktor politely. Normally he wouldn't do this, but the thought of seeing new weapons and designs excited him! He opened the door again "Come on in"

Yuna was happy that the blacksmith made the first move since she really didn't know what to do. She shook his hand. "Hi mr. viktor, I'm yuna. I was indeed needing your service." She answered and smiled shyly. She took her bow in her hand and folowed him inside. She had seen on his level that he was as high as her, she really was impressed! This blacksmith really got her expectations up. She really hoped he would be as good as he was said to be.

Viktor smiled warmly and carefully took the bow from her. It was really high level, and high class materials where used in its crafting that's for sure. He opened the menu, and added the bow to the crafting system. "Alright, looks like i'll need more of this special enchanted wood you have used, string... Hmm..." Muttered Viktor. "So, except for the obvious repair. Do you want any extra enchantments?" Asked Viktor

Yuna was a bit worried when he took her bow, no one else ever touched her bow except for her. She carefully folowed everything viktor did with it. Then he asked if she wanted an enchantment, she shrugged her shoulders as an answer. "I don't really know much about enchantments to be honest." she said "what kind of enchantments enchantments can you put on it?" she then asked.

 As expected, she wasn't very familiar with his line of work. After all who could be? After having stared at the screen for a while and still not being able to chose she shrugged her shoulders and turned back to viktor. "I have no idea what I should chose." she said " So I'll let you chose since you know more about it, I trust you'll know which one is the best." and she smiled a bit to him.

Viktor cocked an eyebrow. This was the first time a costumer allowed the smith to do whatever he wants. "You sure?" Asked Viktor carefully. He examined the bow again, and looked over at her "I believe a shadow pin buff, No resistance, invisibility buff and infinity buff is what you need." Said Viktor and took out another book instead for the one she gave her. He pointed at the new purple book "These are the highest level enchantments out there. I don't usually offer these, but since you allowed me to choose, i don't want to disappoint" Said Viktor with a grin. He pointed at the first buff.

 

"Shadow pin allows you to pin an enemy by shooting his shadow" He pointed at the next "No resistance allows you to shoot without obstacles like wind, rain etc." He pointed at the third "The invisibility makes the arrow invisible, making it nearly impossible for monsters to dodge it, and finally..." He pointed at the last one "This, is THE highest level enchantment i have. With this, you won't have to use money on arrows, since it spawns them for you." Said Viktor. He looked up at her "Are you satisfied with those, or do you want something else?"

Yuna listened to viktor explain the anchantments he would put on how bow. She felt flattered that he wanted to put such good enchantments on them. She didn't really know what to say "ehm, thanks. Those sounds like really good enchantments! They'll all come in really handy! I mean, invisible arows! No monster will be able to dodge those! Especially when I can lock them on it and they will not get blown away by wind or anything!." she said but as she was talking she sounded more and more enthausiastic. But then she got silent again and coughed. "Ahem, sorry. Go ahead, I won't bother you." and she looked at the ground a bit.

He got this hammer as a special drop from his last dungeon clear because of his specialization. So it was the best hammer there was, so far at least. He accessed the repair and enchantment option, and then smashed the table as hard as he could, emitting a spark that enveloped the bow. You could see the resources dissapearing from his inventory as the bow mended and repaired. With that done, he pulled out his enchantments book "i'm going to have to ask you to stand a little back on this one" Said Viktor, as he put down the open book on the table. 

 

He then hovered his hammer above the book, making the words stick unto the hammer. He then brought up the hammer like last time, and smashed the table. This time, instead of sparks, glowing words stuck unto the bow, and after a few seconds it was enchanted. "And tada! Just like that you make a god bow"

Yuna chuckled too, she knew what he ment by making things easy. This game sure made you lazy with some things, especially cooking and baking.

 

She looked with interest at what he was doing, but was also a bit worried when he stare hitting her dear bow with the hammer. Still, she couldn't help but be amazed by the sparks flying around, they looked really pretty in a weird way.

 

Then she took a few steps back as he had asked her to. She saw the words sticking on her bow, it looked really cool and... Enchanting. That was really the only way to describe it.

 

Yuna was surprised about how quick her bow was enchanted. She took it from the table and looked at it from all sides. It looked just like before, or actually, like when it just dropped and was still brand new. She pulled back the string and held it like she was going to shoot, but without the arrow. It still felt like her bow but she could feel the power it had within. "I really can't wait to try it out!" she said with a big smile on her face to viktor when she hung the bow on her back. "But how much does cost." she then asked him with a more serious face.

Viktor smiled at her amazement and excitement. This was one of the joys of being a smith in his opinion. She then asked him about the cost, but he wasn't interested in money anymore. He had way too much. "Well. If you don't mind i would like to ask two favors instead. One, i want the design of this bow since it's very rare and high level. Plus, i'm looking for someone to help me clear level 51, and i'm sure you have seen my level, and i'm also sure that you know i have seen your level. So, would you be interested in trying out that new bow on the strongest dungeon so far?" Asked Viktor hopefully.

He had way too much. "Well. If you don't mind i would like to ask two favors instead. One, i want the design of this bow since it's very rare and high level. Plus, i'm looking for someone to help me clear level 51, and i'm sure you have seen my level, and i'm also sure that you know i have seen your level. So, would you be interested in trying out that new bow on the strongest dungeon so far?" Asked Viktor hopefully.

Yuna was quite surprised about his offer but she didn't complain. She sure would.love to clear a dungeon again, it had been a while since she had done one. "Sure, you can have the design. Just don't try to give it to my nemesis. Just kidding." she said and smiled, then she continued "and the dungeon sounds like fun but just one question, can you fight? Since I'm not going to clear the dungeon for you and protect you when all you do is pick up the drops." she then said with a serious face.

Viktor grinned at her "Oh? You haven't heard of the 'Berserk mage?' " Said Viktor with a chuckle. "Well, to answer your question, of course! If you can't fight in this world, you are pretty screwed." Said Viktor, as he started cleaning up the shop before they headed out "Give me 2 seconds to clean this up, and we shall depart"

Viktor didn't bring anything with him. His unqiue power allowed him to carry weapons in a dimension of some sort and equip them when needed. "Ok, i'm all done. Let's head out" Said Viktor, as he took off his work clothes and replaced them with a tuxedo. Once the gor out of his store, he locked the door and turned around "So. Do you have your TP crystal on you? It will be much faster than walking" Said Vintor

Yuna nodded at his question and took out her TP chrystal. She didn't use it often because she liked walking, when she walked this game felt more like the real world as when you just TP'd everywhere but for occasions like this she usually used it.  "I got it right here." she said "lets go!"

Viktor nodded "Great, let's go!" Said Viktor and feeded some magic into the crystal. He then thought of the dungeon floor, and just like that. He dissapeared. He reappeared at the dungeon floor, and looked at his new partner. "I'll send a party invite" Said Viktor as he send her the invite

Viktor nodded "Great, let's go!" Said Viktor and feeded some magic into the crystal. He then thought of the dungeon floor, and just like that. He dissapeared. He reappeared at the dungeon floor, and looked at his new partner. "I'll send a party invite" Said Viktor as he send her the invite

Yuna appeared in the dungeon next to her partner viktor. She had appeared a little bit too close next to him so she quickly stepped a bit to the side.

 

Then she accepted the party invide. When she clicked the button to accept it a flash of memories came to her and a painfull expression came to her face. But she quickly shook her hear to get the memories away and smiled to viktor. "It's been a while since I was in a party with some one." she said.

 

The she looked around a bit. "I assume you know a bit about this place since we're about to risk our lives here ao tell me, mr. tourguide, where are we and what are we going to find here." she asked viktor.

Viktor noticed her little pained expression. She must have lost some dear friends in a raid. That's why he only looked out for himself for the most part, but he couldn't do that anymore. This was as far as he could go as a solo player, so why not team up with the only member who was as strong as him? If not stronger?

 

"Yes, i know almost everything" He cleared his throat, and started briefing "Odin inspired god is the boss. Small vikings guard him, armed with dual axes or shields to take hits for the boss. 10000 HP for the boss, and 100 for the vikings. When half of the HP is gone, the boss calls in an army of vikings in rapid succession. When he has the last thousand HP, the boss starts throwing lightning bolts and becomes immune from basic attacks, meaning spells or enchanted weapons only. Oh, and he is armed with a giant spear" Said Viktor as though he was reading from a book. "Any questions?"

"Sounds fantastic." Yuna said seriously. A little grin appeared on her face by the thought to fight against such a strong boss, she was actually really exited.

 

"So, how are we going to defeat him? Got any strategies in mind?" Yuna then asked viktor. Then she realised he didn't have any weapons with him. "Which weapon do you have? You are not going to go in there without a weapon right?" She said to him and her voice got a little threathening. "Because, as I said before, I'm not going to protect you while you get all the loot."

 

Viktor stared blankly at her, not really sure what her problem. Oh, right. She had no idea about his ability. He stuck his right hand out into a little portal that appeared, and took out a katana. "My unique ability allows me to constantly witch weapons in game, and they are stored in a little pocket dimension. That's why i never carry them on me, and that's why i'm called the berserk mage" Said Viktor, as he demonstratee his ability by cycling through tons of high leveled weapons. His only non high level weapons was his bow.

 

"Is that enough for you to trust me?"

Yuna smiled reliefed. "Looks awesome! You really have some great weapons there!" She said. "So, how are we going to kill the boss?" she then asked. "We could do it that I could attack the boss while you attack the vikings and once all the vikings are gone you'll attack the boss from nearby while I keep him occupied with my bow.
