Dear heavenly father, please help Atropa get through whatever she is dealing with in her life right now. She really is a sweet girl. Hayley got up and told Sasha she'd be right back. Hayley picked up her backpack and went in Atropa's hospital room. "So you're awake huh? Sleepy head." Hayley opened up her bag and pulled out some cookies. "I baked these myself." Hayley gave the cookies to Jake. "You haven't had anything to eat and it's way past lunch. That worried me, so I grabbed a few of these before I came here." He looked back and noticed Hayley walked in, he nodded a greeting to her, setting the cookies on a nearby table, giving a smile of thanks. Hayley asked Atropa how she was, and Atropa sighed. "I'm good, thank you..." She actually felt like shit, but she didn't want to say that. All she wanted was for Jake to hold her close and tell her it was gonna be okay. She tried to sit up, but couldn't get enough strength to do it. BANG! BANG! BANG! She bit her lip. "Have Skyler and my mom been called?" She sighed. She didn't want either of them here. Skyler and Atropa weren't on very good terms and her mom... Wasn't a mom at all. BANG! BANG! Hayley set the box of cookies down. "I wish I could stay and chat, but it's getting a little too crowded in here." Hayley smiled, "I'll be back to check on you in a little while. Get well soon." Hayley turned around only to be knocked to the floor by Brenden entering. "oh, excuse me." Hayley said as she stood back up and left the room. Out in the waiting room Hayley rejoined Sasha, who had just told her about the incident with her mother. Hayley shook her head. "I'm so sorry to hear that Sasha." Hayley went over to hug her. "It just seems like one bad thing after another. But you should never lose faith. When God closes a door he opens a window." Hayley smiled as she tried to comfort Sasha.
