[Page Turner 607]

Page walked into the forums, having just read a hilarious fanfic over in FimFiction, the giant library just beyond the borders of forum land. He noticed the chaos immediately.

 

"what the what is going on here?"

"Well I just took inside measurements, to see how much I can fit on this thing" she punches the Pinata making a small bump on the side, which Pinkazoid quickly covered with her hoof "and all I need are water balloons"

[Victoria and Co. 782]

King of Magikarps rolled out of bed. Even after his sleep, the night before had drained him entirely.

 

"Forty-seven encores," Kom said to himself. "Forty-seven encores!"

 

Kom walked groggily over to his bathroom. He looked himself in the mirror and splashed some water in his face from the sink.

 

"Forty-seven bucking encores! It was wonderful!" Kom turned and stuck his head into a nearby fish tank. When he retracted his head, there was a small, gray octopus, wearing a pink bow-tie, perched atop his head.

 

"You should have been Octavia! It was AMAZING! Vinyl played over 50 songs!"

 

Kom headed down stairs for some breakfast with his pet octopus still on his head.

 

After a quick blueberry muffin, Kom walked out the door levitating his pet octopus beside him.

 

"Who should we go see today Octavia? I wonder how Pinkazoid's giant pinata is going."

Page Continued to wander the forum streets, poking his head into various rooms and catching snippets of conversations.

 

"Okay, Feld0 is missing and the mods are all fighting for supremacy." he muttered. "They are saying it's just like April Foals, but I wasn't here for that." he let out a weary sigh. "Why does everypony have to go crazy just because the top guy's not there anymore?"

 

so engrossed is he in his thoughts that he does not notice that he is on a collision course with King of Magikarps...

"Wow, so a pony is gonna hit it and get drenched? Nice idea!" rterwa said. Walking over to the hillside rterwa gazes at the chaos of MLP forums land. "Hey girls?" he asks "When do you think this will all clear up...You know the lord master guy fiasco? I want to find a marefriend but it seems all of the mares are busy trying to be a Feld0...." Looking back over at Pinkazoid and Crystal he asks "Do you girls think I'll ever find a mare friend?...." with saddness in his voice.

Kom was walking happily along, humming a song from last night, when suddenly he felt himself hit something. In surprise he dropped Octavia. He looked up and saw it was Page.

 

"Ah! Oh, sorry," Kom said quickly, scooping up Octavia. "I didn't see you there..."

Page picked himself of the ground and dusted himself off.

"no, no, It was my fault, I should have been watching where I was going." His horn glowed, causing his saddlebags to fly open. he began pulling books out one by one to check for damages.

"where are you headed?" he asked.

Kom sat Octavia firmly down on his head.

 

"Well, I'm not really sure where I'm going just yet, somewhere with good music I suppose," Kom looked at Page. "Hey, I don't think we've officially met yet!"

 

Kom stuck out his hoof.

 

"I'm King of Magikarps, K-I-N-G space O-F space M-A-G-I-K-A-R-P-S, but you can call me Kom or Kingo for short."

Page stared at the hoof awkwardly for a moment as if unsure what to do with it, before reaching out with his own to give it a quick shake. "Page Turner's the name, most of my friends (both of them) call me Page."

Kom looked back at Page, he had been expecting a bro-hoof, but that didn't very well matter now.

 

"Nice to meet you Page!" Kom said enthusiastically. "Oh, and this is Octavia."

 

Kom leaned his head down and pointed the octopus towards Page.

 

"Octavia, say 'Hello' to Page!"

Page gave the little octopus an odd look, was he supposed to say hello to it? wouldn't it be weird to talk to an octopus? then again nopony thought it was strange to talk to a dog or a cat, but page had never encountered a pet Octopus before, were there special rules for that? And why wasn't it in the water? wouldn't it dry out?

 

Page suddenly realized he had been staring at the octupus for a good thirty seconds. "Um, Hello Octavia the Octopus."

Pinkazoid chuckled "well, you shouldn't really be asking me for advice... right now things like that are the least of my worries" she said climbing on top of the Pinata, looking for any ponies nearby "but in the other hoof, you're my friend, but in the other other hoof, I don't know much about this, and in the other other other hoof I am supposed to be more mature, but again there's the fact that, I get more immature by the minute" she said putting her hoof on her chin smiling

Page Shrugged, "I don't know, I've never seen a pet octopus before, How does she survive out of the water?

"Pfft, who said she needed water to survive?" Kom asked. "Octavia is magic just like you and me! Isn't that right little girl?"

 

Octavia wrapped some of her legs around Kom's face and 'hugged' him.

 

"Aw! You're so sweet Octavia!"

 

Kom looked at Page with a smile.

 

"I got her as a gift when she was only a baby from Vinyl Scratch. She's named after one of Vinyl's best friends."

Page nodded, making a mental note to look up magical non-aquatic octopi at a later date, in the mean time he decided to change the subject.

Kom shifted in his spot.

 

"You know, I'm not really sure. I've heard some rumors that Feld0 has gone missing again, and that everyone is trying to take his spot, but I honestly have no idea."

 

Kom reached into his bag and pulled out a muffin. He gave it to Octavia who gladly gulped it down. Noticing Page watching, Kom pulled a second muffin from the bag.

 

"Muffin?"

"I heard the same rumors, ponies are saying it's like April Foals all over again." he shrugged, "although I didn't find this place until mid-April so I wouldn't know.

Smiling a ray of sunshine rterwa says,"Heh...Your right Pink...Problems like those are the least of my worrys. So, lets get to work on the piñata! Oddly enough it feels like it's gonna be an exciting day!" He walks forward and wraps his hoofs around Pinkazoid in a friendly hug. "Thanks for the advice pink! Your a great friend!"

"That was advice?" she looked at the sky "okie dokie I guess....." she flew on top of the Pinata "looks like I'm running low on newspaper" she flew down "I know I'll get Feld0's newspaper, after all he's gone" she smiled

"Well I interprited it as advice...". rterwa looked up a Pinkazoid in confusion thinking she would have returned the hug. "Are you sure you should borrow his newspaper? I mean----actually that's not a bad Idea since he can just make new copies when he gets back!"

"You should have seen it," Kom started. "Chaos everywhere, robots taking over, order lost. It was terrible. If people are saying it's like April Foals... We may be... doomed..."

"yeah, he won't mind me steali- err borrowing his newspaper" she flew away from the member's village towards the Mod's kingdom, where the mod's mansions stood, in the very center the biggest of all mansions, that looked more like a castle, and sometimes was even called one, Feld0's mansion, she ooed and aaaed for a couple of hours, and then continued on her search for feld0's newspaper not far from her right were the Mods still fighting over the spot, Zoop seemed to be winning she continued walking until she met the royal newspaper, it was full of the most important news in all of Equestria, it might itself have the secrets of the universe like why Pinkazoid is so awesome, and how t- "this is gonna be awesome when I shred it for the Pinata"

"Hey, calm down, I only said may be doomed. After all, I'm sure a search party has already been sent out for feld0."

 

Kom stretched his legs.

 

"I'm heading over to a friend's house, want to join me?"
