"I drew a Dragon"

 

That thread title has got to be one of the biggest understatements that I have ever seen on this forum so far. Only ApocalyptiCchaos would say "I drew a Dragon" and then deliver this amazing piece of artwork - just like that. Such a disturbingly suave, debonair individual.

 

If I haven't made it abundantly clear already, I am quite impressed by this dragon. The tendency that most artists tend to have is to lean towards an overwhelmingly malevolent portrayal of dragons. I am not saying that this is wrong, but I like this drawing because it provides a different take on things.

 

The expression of this dragon is calm and, perhaps even contemplative. The eyes seem to betray a certain sentience and wisdom. The dragon also seems to be perhaps more feathered or furred than scaly. The overall effect is remarkably rewarding to the eye.
