Whats Up With The Server?

 Recently I've been getting back into the game, and I've noticed a few things that have changed since a few months ago...

The player count seems to be a little less than what it was a few months ago, which is disheartening to say the least.

 

 There's also the issue with what to me feels important, that being activity.

I've noticed threads with topics including the 1.10 release of the server not being recently updated, meaning either nobody

really cares anymore, or that the staff are hard at work trying to make the server better, I'm really hoping it's the latter.

 

 Furthermore, either I'm going online at the wrong times, or the staff count has decreased to the point that despite my attempts for three days to be hopping on here and there to check up, nobody has been online at the time to aid me in a recent issue I've had with my home. This issue is easily solvable and is probably due to my bad luck with timing, but non the less I still require some aid at the time I write this, the problem being the force that pushed me to finally make an account on the forum to ask what's going on.

 

 I have played on this server for somewhere around two year's, and would really hate to see what happens if the server goes in a bad direction, and while I'm not saying that it is, I am asking for some clarity on what exactly is going on with the status of the server and it's future plans.

Its not unusual for players to leave the server then come back when its updated, it was like this before for 1.7-1.8.

 

1.10 update is this so far: Eq and Creative are updated to 1.10 the survival server is due to be updated soon, when? i do not know.

a plugin needs to be rewritten and its a long process.

 

The server is active you probably have joined at the wrong time zone (around the time australians are awake i think)

but yeah the server is active at times, when the server updates  there will be advertising etc so the player count will skyrocket (hopefully lol)

 

A reletively new thing is Discord chat for the server, staff can be contacted 24/7 here aswell as chatting, roleplaying, voice chat, sharing media and much more:

Our techs are definitely working on it! Its just a major hassle to get everything implimented

 

Player count generally drops with long waits before the update, but we should be sorted soon (Been said a lot but we have a general ETA of around near the end of this month hopefully so long as everything doesn't explode)

It's almost pointless to do anything on the server until it's updated. The entire map (save for a build each person), and all inventories are going to be wiped. So it's better to wait until we can do stuff and not have it wiped.
