Candy smiles at her old friend, "Chocolate is the same, he's always doing his best to make sure I am happy" she says softly and looks at her husband once more "he's always so soft spoken, gentle and kind. Mind you, it's more for Orange's benefit, with her having Autism and all, she gets scared very easily, so we make sure to be quiet around her" she says and smiles wider "How about we plan a double family vacation to Manehatten? Surprise Night Dancer and see how things are going?" she ask then thinks "No, that's a bad idea, we should at least let her know what we are thinking" she says with a smile.  She then gets out her phone and looks for her number "Ah, here it is, why don't you call her?" she suggests, handing Gentle her phone.

 

Chocolate smiles "It's small things like this that makes the girls in my life happy, so it's no real trouble at all." he says and notices Starling happily snuggling into Gentle's embrace "Dynamo really is like a big brother to little Starling, she simply adores him, which is nice, to see her so happy, even though she's been through so much" he says and looks over to Orange "well, it is to do with Magic, and having somepony she trusts and who we know, would probably be for the best, she'll learn a lot more easily"

Gentle nodded in understanding. "I completely understand on why he acts the way he does. It shows he really cares deeply for this family. I think my son, Dynamo, will be a really big help. He can help bring her out of her shell and so she won't be as scared as easily. While making things quiet is nice, I think having Dynamo being the way he is can help her be more open to things and that won't be so quiet. Something like that might work." Gentle said as she closed her eyes as she thought of the idea out loud. She then opened her eyes at the thought of a vacation. "A double family vacation? In Manehatten no less? That sounds like a nice idea. I haven't been down to Manehatten in years when I was dancing." Gentle's eyes widened at the information she learned. "You have Night Dancer's number!? It's nice to know you've kept in touch with her. I would love to call her." Gentle took the phone out of Candy's hands and hit the call button. While the phone was ringing she sat close to Candy and put the phone near her so they could both talk. After getting a response, Gentle replied, "Hello? Night Dancer is that you? It's me, Gentle Step, we went to school together with Candy Hearts. How are you?"

 

Quick nodded at Chocolate's reasoning. "I understand. Again thank you for your generosity." Quick looked at Starling as he smiled and nodded his head. "Gentle and I never really planned for another foal after Dynamo, but it's nice to consider little Starling as part of the family. From what you told me, she deserves these wonderful families after everything she's been through. I think Gentle would be perfect as Orange's tutor. She was able to help Dynamo in his magic training and I think she would love to help Orange. I would just ask and I know she will say yes. I also think Dynamo will help her in somepony she trusts. From what he told me yesterday and seeing them today, I know without a doubt, they trust each other wholeheartedly. Maybe they can learn together and help each other out when one is having trouble." Quick said as he smiled at the young couple across from them.

 

Dynamo smiled as he hugs Orange and nuzzles her lovingly. He poked her in the side and heard a little giggle escape from her lips. Seeing as she was ticklish, Dynamo grinned as he began to tickle Orange. He laughed along with her as her laugh put a smile on Dynamo's muzzle.

As Night Dancer answers her phone she says "Hello The Dancer Manor, Night Da..." she is stopped mid-sentence "Gentle? Gentle Step! Oh my Celestia! It's been ages, yes, yes, I remember going to school with you two, been too long" she says with a smile, a glisten in her eyes "In fat, I was just telling my little filly about how we always looked out for each other at school" she says with a giggle in her voice "So, you saucy little mare you, what's the haps? The occasion as to you calling me?" she says with a giggle, she always enjoyed calling Gentle "saucy"

 

Chocolate nods "She's a little angel, we wanted to give Orange a little brother or sister but..well there's been complications, so her finding Starling and helping her, it was a blessing" he says and notices that his wife was swaying a little, he chuckles "Seems my wife is getting a bit giddy with excitement" he says with a gleam in his eyes and shakes his head once more "We've taken the day off to go shopping for the girls, you and Gentle are more than welcome to come along, I'm sure our wives would love it"

 

"Stahp" she giggles as she tackles him and begins to roughly tickle him back.

Gentle smiled widely as another of her old friends remembered her and Candy. "I'm so glad you remember both Candy and I. It has been way too long my old friend. I didn't know you had a filly of your own. Guess it has been a long time. So, who's the lucky stallion that got to marry you? Also how old is your filly and what is their name?" Gentle said as she was surprised at what she was hearing, but smiled nonetheless and kept on firing more questions. "I haven't been called that in such a long time. It was always like a nickname the two of you came up with for me." She giggled at what Night had called her. "Back to the topic at hand though. I just recently reunited with Candy and we've been catching up with each other. We both also found out that my colt and her filly have become a couple. After talking and remembering you, we were thinking of doing a double family vacation. We were thinking of going to Manehatten to surprise you and catch up. I've also got Candy right next to me right now if you want to say hi. What do you think?" She handed the phone back to Candy so she could talk to her friend.

 

Quick frowned as he heard there were complications, but nodded in understanding. "I'm sorry to hear there were complications, but I'm glad everything worked out for the better. It's great to know Starling is in good hands with your family. I hope that our family will be able to be a part of that." Quick smiled as he looked over to his wife and Candy giggling with each other on the phone. "It seems like they are planning something, but I can't be too sure." Quick smiled at the offer and nodded his head. "I'll take you up on your offer. I think it will be nice for our wives to keep on catching up with each other."

 

"Never!" Dynamo yelled and chuckled as he continued tickling Orange, but decided to stop so she could catch her breath. Dynamo was then tackled to the ground by Orange as she began to roughly tickle him. Dynamo erupted into laughter as the tickle onslaught commenced. "S-Stop it. It t-tickles." Dynamo pleaded, but to no avail. With the last of his strength, he leaned up and kissed Orange on the lips. As this happened, Orange's tickle torture was completely stopped cold. He held the kiss for a few more seconds before parting his lips from hers. After catching his breath and sitting up, he chuckled and brought his marefriend into a hug. He wrapped his arms around her and nuzzled her lovingly.

Night smiles as she talks on the phone with one of her closest friends but also sighs "Oh no deary. I'm not married, I'm as single as a pringle" she says with a giggle "One of my servants, his wife passed giving birth to their daughter, and all my servants are more like family to me rather than servants, so I adopted the little darling, her name is Lilly.." she says with a soft smile "Oh, a family vacation in Manehatten sounds absolutely perfect and your two family simply must stay at the manor, I insist and will not take no for an answer" she says then shakes her head "So your plans with our dear Candy have come to full fruition without you even meaning it to, well your darling children sound absolutely lovely" she says with a soft sigh "let me know when you two are thinking of visiting, I'll have the chefs cook up all your favorites"

 

Chocolate smiles and nods "Excellent, and I honestly don't think either of our wives would have it any other way, if I heard correctly, Candy's already gotten Starling to call Gentle "auntie", which is rather cute and sweet" he says with a chuckle and flicks his ear "I must say, it is so wonderful to see Candy like this, i was getting really worried, and so was Orange, she simply adores her mother and whenever Candy is down or depressed, Orange gets the same way but worse. A very caring filly, she is"

 

Orange smiles and nuzzles him lovingly back and kisses his cheek "I l-love you Dynamo" she says softly

Gentle was sad about the news, but was really happy for her friend. With a sad smile, she replies, "I'm sorry to hear about your servant's wife, but I'm glad everything is okay. I'm glad that you treat everyone as your own family. You were like a sister to me and Candy. I adore that name and Lilly sounds like a fitting name to the young filly." Gentle then giggles at Night's offer and smiles to herself. "Okay you're twisting my arm on this offer so we can't really refuse you. It sounds like plan to me, old friend. Even though our plan happened unintentionally, both Candy and I are happy for our children. I think you'll love them when you meet them. I think Lilly will as well and all of our children will be great friends, I'm sure of it. Candy and I will work out a plan and will let you know all the details. How does that sound?" She asked as she happily awaited her old friend's reply.

 

Quick chuckles and smiles at Chocolate while shaking his head. "I can't argue with that one Chocolate. It is really sweet how little Starling sees Gentle as her aunt. Hopefully in time, she'll see me as her uncle." Quick flashes a look of concern on his muzzle before nodding in understanding towards the unicorn. "I understand my friend. She's a really kind filly who cares about her family, like a good filly should. With both Gentle and Dynamo, maybe the two of them won't feel so down or sad as much anymore." Quick said while placing a hand on Chocolate's shoulder while smiling.

 

Dynamo felt Orange nuzzle him and kiss him on the cheek, causing him to smile at his marefriend. "I love you too Orange, with all of my heart." He looked towards his mom and Candy talking and it got an idea to form in his head. He got up from sitting on the floor and helped Orange up to her feet. He took her hand in his and lead them back to the table they were sitting at. He pulled out a chair for him and Orange and motioned for them to sit down. "I was thinking about something. I was wondering do you want to play a game of 20 questions? We can go back and forth asking each other questions.  It's more in a way of us getting to know each other more. For example your favorite color, shows and all that kind of stuff. We never really got to know each other well before, but I'd love to get to know you more. What do you say, my love? Here I'll go first. What's your favorite color? My favorite color would have to be purple." Dynamo said as he looked at Orange while smiling. He began rubbing her hand gently with his thumb.

Night smiles "Oh Lilly is an absolute darling" she says and as she speaks, she picks up the filly and hugs her "Say hello to your auntie Gentle, sweetie" she says with a smile.

 

Lilly giggles "Hewwo auntie Gentle" she giggles again though the reciever

 

Night smiles "such a cutie, and you know me," she says with a soft sigh "and that definitely sounds like a plan, give us a call when things are set in stone, I've got uh...business to attend to" she says and smiles "kisses darling, send my love to Candy as well, I look forward to seeing the two of you again and your lovely families, love and kisses" she says before hanging up.

 

Chocolate smiles "Indeed and I don't think it'll be long until she sees you as her uncle" he says and smiles at him some more "I honestly hope so, The three of my girls do seem to be so much happier" he smiles at his daughters and wife.

 

Orange giggles "Mine's pink, because it reminds me of my mummy" she giggles then thinks of a question "Hmm...what is your favorite thing about us being a couple? M-mine is that you p-protect and love me"

Gentle could hear Lilly's voice through the receiver while smiling and squealing at how cute she sounded. "Aw, she sounds so cute. Hi there Lilly. Auntie Gentle loves you sweetheart." Gentle said as she heard Night talking again. She nodded in understanding about Night's business. "She sounds really adorable. She sounds about the same age as Candy's daughter Starling. I think the both Starling and Lilly will be lifelong friends. I promise as soon as we get the plan sorted out, you'll be the first to know. We'll talk to you again soon. Love and kisses too, bye Night." Gentle hung up the phone and handed it back to Candy. "It sounds like she's been doing well, even after all of these years. She said visiting her would be perfect, but we need to come up with a plan and then let her know. She even has a daughter around the same age as Starling. This is all just so wonderful." Gentle said to Candy and giggles with a giant smile on her muzzle.

 

Quick smiles at Chocolate and nods his head. "That's good to hear. I can definitely see her as my niece and a part of my family as well. I know what you mean though. My wife and son seem so much happier around your family. It feels like we are on big happy family." Quick turns to look at the interaction between the two families and smiles to himself.

 

Dynamo smiles as he squeezes Orange's hand gently. "Pink is a really nice color and it seems to suit you well. It's really nice it reminds you of your mom. I'm really glad that's how you feel about the relationship. I would have to say the same thing, but also I love how much we have in common and the time we spend together." Dynamo said as he looks at Orange lovingly and blushes. "You said you loved Sword Art Online. Is that your number one favorite anime, or is there a certain anime you love the most. Also what other anime have you seen and what genre's do you prefer? My favorite anime would have to be Naruto because ninjas are really cool. I can also relate to the main character a lot. Some other shows I like are Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Lucky Star, Future Diary and Clannad."

Candy smiles and nods "Oh wonderful, I'm sure both Starling and Orange will become good friends with the little cutie" she says and nods once more "Of course, well I do believe that the school holidays are coming soon, so we have some time to organize everything" she says and hugs Starling close. She then sees the plush store opposite the ice cream parlor "Say Gentle, could you look after Starling for a bit, there's a...errand I must run" she asks

 

Chocolate smiles "I think you already are, dynamo's like a son to us already anyway, with how well he treats Orange, it's no wonder both his little sister and your wife asked that one question" he chuckles then whispers "I've been saving up a fund for whenever little Orange does get married, I refuse to think that because she has a disability that she doesn't deserve to be happy, and Dynamo has proved my point" he says with a soft and warm smile more towards Dynamo than to Quick.

 

Orange giggles "I..I kind of really like Negi!? Magister Negima Springfiedl!" she giggles and nuzzles him "W-what do you love most about me? I would have to say that I love you because..you love me for me."

Gentle nodded her head in agreement. "The same thing when it comes to Dynamo. Looks like our trio of friendship lives on in our offspring. That's also pretty true. With the summer holiday it does leave a good amount of time for the Manehatten trip. As well as other activities for both of our families." Gentle smiles, but then gains a look of confusion. She looks towards where Candy was talking about and nods her head while taking Starling in her arms. "No problem, just take your time." Gentle watched as Candy left the ice cream parlor. She then noticed Starling looking a little sad. Gentle pats Starling on the head, while replying, "It's okay sweetheart. Your mommy just had to run an errand really quick. She'll be right back I promise. Besides, it will be great spending time with your Auntie Gentle." Gentle places a kiss on Starling's forehead and tickles the young filly. This causes the young filly to erupt with a fit of giggling.

 

Quick nods his head while smiling. "I'm glad you think that because I can see Orange like a daughter. She seems to fit in well with my family and the two of them look so happy together. You'd think they knew each other for years, I could even say they grew up together, if one could notice the way they interact." Quick said while looking at the young couple across from the adults. "This just proves my point that you're a great father. You really are looking out for your daughter's well being and happiness. I know for sure Dynamo will make her happy for a long time. It's all about timing and if my son can pony up when the time comes for him to ask that question." Quick laughs while he imagines his son's struggle on proposing to Orange in the future.

 

Dynamo gasped loudly as his eyes grew wide. A wide smile appeared upon his muzzle. "I've heard of Negima. I've never seen the anime, but it's an old classic. I'm surprised somepony else has seen it. That's pretty awesome!" Dynamo felt Orange nuzzling him and he smiled. "I love everything about you. I can't really decide on one thing because there's so much to love about you. I love your eyes, your smile, and your personality. I love your playful nature and how you love me for just being myself." Dynamo said with a small but caring smile. He then closed his eyes in thought of another question. After a bit of thinking, he opened his eyes, before replying, "What did you think about me when you first saw me in school. To be honest, I thought you were really cute. I also thought you were kind of quiet and I thought you were afraid of me. Over time I learned you were just kind of shy and it just made you even cuter to me in my eyes. You also seemed like a really caring and helpful mare, in my opinion."

Starling giggles and nods as she nuzzles into Gentle's snuggles, her tail swaying and her ears flicking every now and then to show she felt comfortable and happy around Gentle.

 

It didn't take too long for Candy to return, she held a bundle with her, which included a large Princess Uni Kitty plush, a large female tundra wolf plush with some small beanie wolf plushes to serve as cubs, she places them within her sight but makes it so Starling couldn't see them, she whispers to Gentle "They're going to be a gift from all of us" she says as she gently strokes her filly's mane and sighs softly.

 

 Chocolate couldn't help but laugh either "That'd be the day, mind you, Dynamo will have to understand that it will most likely overwhelm Orange, which will make her cry" he says "poor sweetheart has trouble with emotions"

 

Orange giggles "what did I first think of you? I thought you were cute and really nice. I s-saw you how you helped the younger filly when she was having trouble" she then thinks and snuggles up to him "H-have you ever..had a marefriend before?"

Gentle saw Candy returned and noticed a bundle of plush in her possession. She saw a variety of animals and thought they looked really cute. As she heard the reason for the stuffed animals, Gentle nodded her head and put a finger to her lips. She was thankful that Starling didn't notice anything. "My lips are sealed. I promise not to tell a soul. I'm guessing this will beat the rush when we are done clothes shopping?" She said as she whispered into Candy's ear.

 

Quick nodded his head in understanding. "I think he'll handle it just fine. After all, being proposed to by somepony can become very emotional at times. I remember it was very emotional for Gentle when I finally asked her. Of course, that was a little while after she kind of forced me to marry her." He said as he began scratching his cheek. After getting a look from Chocolate, he replied, "Well we dated for about 4 years and she was expecting it for a while. So what other choice did I have!?" He exclaimed as he threw his hands up in frustration.

 

"You shouldn't have waited so long dear. It was either you proposed or I left you, simple as that. I'll never you live it down Quick." Gentle said as she giggled. This caused everyone in the ice cream parlor to laugh at Quick's misfortune.

 

"I'm glad you think of me that way. I always want to help others if they are feeling troubled about something. That or if someone is being picked on, I try my best to help out in whatever way I can. Though I try not to use violence." Dynamo said while smiling as he felt Orange snuggled up to him. As he heard Orange's question, the smile in Dynamo's face faltered and fell into a frown. He felt himself tremble and could feel tears welling up in his eyes. He laid his head on Orange's shoulder as the tears started to fall. "Yes I did have a m-marefriend. A l-long time ago, in f-fact. It was back when I lived in Fillydelphia. During middle school, I would always be helping other colts and fillies if they needed anything. One of the fillies I helped told me they liked me and wanted to go out with me. I said yes and we eventually became a couple. We spent a lot of time together, played at the arcade, and I thought we were a great match together. Then one day, some bullies came up to me with my marefriend and told me she u-used me. It was just to get a satisfaction that I can be picked on, even in love. It hurt me that it was difficult to ever trust most ponies. Even after I gained my cutie mark and stood up to those bullies, the pain and memory were still there. T-That's why I was really quiet towards others. This was also the reason I never had many friends when I moved here. P-Please, don't hate me Orange." He said as he wrapped his arms around her. Holding onto her desperately like a lifeline. Afraid she would disappear if he were to let go. 

 

Everypony in the parlor had heard the conversation, causing Gentle to sigh and have a sad look on her face. "The poor dear. He sometimes gets night terrors from this. He never really moved on from what happened all of those years ago. He's made good progress, but it happens from time to time. Hopefully Orange will be there to show him there's always hope." Gentle said as she turned and explain everything to Candy.

Candy nods and smiles but as she listens to what happened to Dynamo her smile turns to a frown and her ears droop as her heart drops "Those..." she then says something in Phrench under her breath then shakes it off "Orange would never do that, she was used back in elementary school and it hurt her pretty badly" she says then walks over to Dynamo and kneels in front of him "Now sweetheart, no one in this family will ever hate you for what happened to you, okay?" she asks and hugs him tight, nuzzling him lovingly, she had tears in her eyes.

 

Chocolate also heard everything and his ears drooped, he knew full well what it felt like to have that happen to him, he too walks over to him, places a firm yet gentle and caring hand on his shoulder and smiles down at him "You're a kind, caring, gentle colt with a strong and big heart," he says to reassure him "and you wouldn't believe, but I was the primary target for bullying at school, heck i was even taken advantage of physically by a mare who I thought loved me...of course that was before I met my daring wife, but chin up champ, you're like a son to us, and if you ever need to talk and your dad or mother aren't available, you come to me or Candy, okay?" he asks softly

 

Orange hugs him tightly, "I never hate you" she simply says, she wanted to tell him something but it would be better in private.

Dynamo felt Orange and Candy hug him fight, while Chocolate laid a hand on his shoulder. He felt Quick place a hand on his other shoulder, while Gentle rubbed his back to calm him down. Trying to regain his compusure, Dynamo looked up at Orange, his eyes and cheeks a little red from crying. The tears that were shed were stains upon his muzzle. After getting tissues and wiping the tears away, Dynamo replied, "I don't doubt you Orange, but I was afraid. I told you the truth when I said I had a crush on you years ago. I didn't say anything before because I began questioning myself. Who would love somepony like me? Somepony who loves only video games, anime and just shuts himself off from the reality of this world. Those were things I kept telling myself over and over like a broken record. That's why I meant when I said video games and anime numbed the pain I felt all those years ago before moving to Canterlot. Though when I first saw you, I could see a light that shined so brightly. You looked so happy and so full of life, that I never could have guessed that you had felt loneliness. I'm just really happy that I've met you now and you've brought light into my life. I though I knew what true love was back then, but I was wrong. The way things are now, the time that we've shared, this is true love. I don't ever want to let that feeling go. I love you Orange," Dynamo then leaned into Orange and kissed her on the lips. Tears fell from his eyes once more, but this time they were happy tears.

 

After parting his lips from hers, he smiled a true smile, full of happiness and love. He looked back to Candy and Chocolate and hugged them both. "I'm sorry things had happened to you both in your pasts. I'm glad you think of me as your son. Even though I have my mom and dad, I also think of you as parents to me. So truly, I thank you both with all of my heart." After the hugs, he went back over to Orange and took her hands in his. "Thank you for everything  everypony. I'm sorry you had to see that, but I feel a lot better. I know moving on from the past is difficult, but I know I'm going to be okay." Dynamo said as his smile widened into a grin as he chuckled."

Candy smiles as she hugs him again before wiping away her own tears and then stands up "It's alright and you are right, if you cannot move on from the past, then it will constantly haunt you" she says then picks up Starling who wanted to hug her big brother.

 

Chocolate chuckles "Come on, we've got lots of shopping to do and we best start now if we're to beat the rush" he says and nods at Orange who blushes and kisses Dynamo back.

 

"D-Dynamo, I..." she looks to her father then looks down "I n-nearly got..I nearly was taken advantage of in the past"

 

The group then leaves the ice cream parlor to go to do the rest of the shopping.

 

She nuzzles him "You see..it was at school, a bully h-had cornered me and had me n-naked a-and was trying to..to penetrate me, b-but Twilight and the girls caught him in the act, t-that is w-why Sunset was so..so protective of me" she says, sobbing into his mane as she remembers the event

Dynamo nodded at what Candy had told him and brought his little sister in for a hug. After letting go, he felt Orange kiss his cheek as the group began leaving the ice cream parlor. As they were heading out shopping Dynamo ears perked up as he heard Orange was almost taken advantage of. He felt so angry somepony could take advantage of someone, and sad that something terrible almost had happened to her. He felt her crying into his mane and he wrapped his arms around her. Rocking her back and forth to help calm her down.

 

"Shh, it's okay, I'm here for you sweetheart. I'm sorry and I never knew about that. I just don't understand why somepony could do something like that. Not many ponies have a lot of manners, or shame in this case. I'm just really glad Twilight and the others were there to help you when they did. Now I see why Sunset acts the way she does. I really do respect her for that because it shows she really cares for her friends." Dynamo placed one of his hands on her head and ran his fingers through her mane. While his other hand began to rub up and down her back. He had a sad smile on his face, before replying, "I guess we both have had a bad past and haven't really moved on from it, huh? I'm glad you told me and I promise it doesn't make me think any less of you. I love you with all of my heart and soul. So what do you say? Let's work together so we can both move on from our past and walk towards a bright and better future together." As Dynamo let's go of the hug, he then wipes Orange's tears away and caresses her cheeks. He smiles a soft smile and looks at her with love and hope in his eyes.

Orange nods and nuzzles him "I-I'd like that" she says and nods once more "Y-yeah, they all care very much for me" she says as she holds his hand, and they walk with their families.

 

Chocolate smiles then looks to Quick and Gentle "How would you two like to also join us for dinner?" he asks with a smile, holding Candy's hand gently.

 

Meanwhile Night Dancer was at her desk, going through paperwork "ugh, no, no this is bad, this is very bad" she mutters to herself.

Dynamo nods his head and smiles as she nuzzles him. "I'm glad to hear that. Hearing that shows they are true friends towards you." Dynamo felt Orange's hand grab his and he interlocked their fingers together. "Oh yeah we never really finished asking each other questions, huh? Hmm...do you have any dreams for the future? My dream is to one day become a major league gamer. One who plays in professional tournaments and stuff like that. I also want to try and make some video games later down the line. I've been thinking about moving down to Ponyville some day after I graduate. I've heard it's the epicenter of where video games got started." He said voicing his thoughts out loud.

 

Quick looked towards Gentle to see what she thought. After a quick nod of her head, he looked at Chocolate with a smile. "It would be a pleasure. Plus it would be great for our family to spend time with each other more. Plus I can't deny my wife after she got back with her friend." Hearing that made Gentle wrap herself around Quick's arm while she smiled widely and giggled.

"My plans for the future? I don't really know, maybe take after my mummy and daddy's shop, get married, have a filly and a colt and settle down" she says blushing at the last few points she made  "I think you'd be a great developer and major league gamer" she says and hugs him "lets see..what was the first game you ever played? M-mine was Betrayal at Krondor" she giggles a little.

 

Chocolate nods "I don't think either of us could"

Dynamo smiled at Orange's response. "I think those are some great dreams. I can see you doing a great job running the shop. Maybe I can help you out sometime. That sounds great on having a family. I think you'll be a great mother to your children." He said, not noticing the blush on Orange's face. He felt Orange hug him and he returns the gesture. "My first game? Wow, it's been a long time since then. I think it was the original Super Mario Brothers. I've never heard of the game you played. It sounds like a real time, turn based strategy game by the way it's titled."

 

The group reached the clothing store and headed inside. After a bit of time shopping, the group found all the clothing they needed for Starling. Dynamo even found a sun hat for Orange that went well with her summer dress. As the group began to leave the store, Quick turned to face Dynamo. "We're heading back to the candy store to have dinner with Chocolate and Candy. Do you have anything you need to do before we head over there?" He asked his son curiously. Dynamo then realized what he needed to do and replied, "That's right. Orange, Starling and I need to head on over to Twilight's and look for some books. We'll let you know when we are on our way back." Quick nodded his head and the group started to leave. Dynamo took Starling into his arms and started to give her a piggy back ride. He held Orange's hand as they watched the group leave. Dynamo turned towards Orange, before replying, "Ready to go see Twilight and get some books? Wait...how do we even get there? We need an adult! We need an adult!" Dynamo yelled before chuckling at his behavior.

"It is, it's an old dos game" she explains as she tries on the hat and giggles, doing a little dance in the remaining sunlight. She smiles and takes his hand "It's this way" she says as she begins to lead the way to the library.  

 

Starling giggled as she held onto her 'big brother' and enjoyed a pony back ride. She looked around herself in awe "why we going to the li-li-libwawy?" she asks rather cutely.

"Oh okay that makes a lot of sense. It sounds like a pretty cool game." Dynamo said as he watched Orange try the hat on. He blushed as the hat made her look adorable. "That hat suits you really well. It really makes you look really cute, even though you're always so cute to me." He said with a smile on his muzzle. As the trio headed towards the library, Dynamo tilted his head up to look at Starling. "We're heading to the library to meet Orange's friend. We're also looking for certain books that wee need. Maybe there will be a book you might like little sis." He said as he smiled at the little filly.

 

A question popped into his head as Dynamo turned his head to look at Orange. "Oh, I have a good question. Have you ever been to an anime convention before? Also have you ever dressed up, or cosplay as an anime or video game character? Okay that's two questions, but you know what I mean." Dynamo said as he smiled and chuckled to himself on the multiple questions.

Starling nods and looks around but then sighs "I..I don't k-know how to read" she confesses and starts to cry.

 

Orange uses her magic to levitate her to her and hugs her "shh, it's okay little sister, mummy and daddy will help you to read in no time, or maybe even Twilight could" she says softly then looks up at Dynamo and shakes her head "N-no, I never h-had anyone to go to one with a-and I could never g-get the courage to dress up either" she says, blushing and hiding behind her mane. He's so caring, and always compliments me, I love him, I do! she thinks to herself with a smile creeping across her face.

Dynamo frowns at what Starling had told him and his ears had drooped. "I'm sorry Starling. I didn't know, but it'll be okay. I know you'll learn to read in due time. Like Orange said, your family and Twilight will be able to help you. We can even read stories to you while you're learning." He said as he smiled and nuzzled the small filly. 

 

Dynamo's eyes widen in surprise and his jaw dropped slightly. "I'm surprised because you seem like the type of pony who would go to a convention. I could also see you dressing up as a character or two. I've only dressed up as Naruto and some characters from the Ponymon games. I was wondering because there's a convention sometime during the summer and I was planning on going. Do you want to go with me? I know you said you could never get the courage to cosplay, but I'll be there with you dressed up as well. We can have lot's of fun at the convention together. What do you say?" Dynamo said as he placed a hand on Orange's shoulder and smiled. The library was within sights of the trio.

Starling nods and nuzzles into Orange's snuggles "A-alright, is T-Twilight nice?" she asks softly as she continues to nuzzle into Orange.

 

Orange smiles "she's a very kind mare, one of my friends" she says then looks to dynamo "I-I'd have to ask mummy and daddy first, but I'd like to" she says softly and nuzzles Starling then Dynamo, she smiles as they get near the library "I hope she has some of the new Daring Do books" she says with a smile.

 

Meanwhile

 

Candy was happily talking with Gentle "So, when do you think we should make arrangements for our little vacation to visit night Dancer?"
