Personality: Kind, sweet and wishes to get along with everypony, hates conflict and tends to freeze up when confronted with it. Determined to make everypony happy. Is mainly happy and content.

 

Flaws: can not deal with criticism at all, panics if someone isn't happy, doubts own abilities a lot. Scared of spiders. Will only go to large cities if she is with somepony else and can't stand the thought of going to one alone.

 

Backstory :

 

Crystal Star was born to a Pegasus called Paper Star and a unicorn called Jewel Star.

She has a younger sister called Novel Star.

Crystal got her cutie mark last, despite being the oldest, which makes her doubt herself from time to time. She discovered her talent when she found some battered crystals that had fallen off a broken necklace on the floor. She managed to polish the crystals into a necklace for her mother's birthday and when she saw her mother's face she knew that was what she was meant to do.

 

She tried selling crystals in Trottingham but was mostly ignored as she was a schoolfilly and lost business to the large shops.

 

However a Male unicorn her own age called Dazzle Clef came up to her and asked if he could buy some crystals for his new jacket. She sold them all for 1 bit to him, believing nobody else wanted them anyway.

The next day Dazzle Clef met her again and said he got his cutie mark whilst performing wearing the crystal jacket. The two became best friends and eventually got engaged together.

 

Disliking the big city, they both decided to move to Rainbow falls shortly after their engagement, where they bought a small cottage near the centre of town.

 

 

Crystal opened a small jewelery and crystal shop in Rainbow falls , selling polished crystals and jewellery and telling ponies about the crystals they have but don't know the name of, as she can identify a crystal just by sight. She partakes in the rainbow falls traders exchange every year.
