Crystal smiles and closes her eyes "He is rather handsome, they both are" she says in a sleepy tone. It would seem that she still had quite a lot of sleep to catch up on. She murrs and flicks her ears cutely as she slept.

 

Shaded smiles as he nuzzles her lovingly "Just as cute as the day you were born, I always knew..that day that we'd always be together, no matter what"

Indicus closed his eyes as he continued to cuddle up to Crystal a smile shown on his face.

 

Rarity looked at the now sleeping pair, "Indicus and Crystal are a cute pair. I've never seen him this happy in the few years I've known him. Even at the party Pinkie threw for him, his smile was forced he put up the façade for Pinkie's sake." Rarity nuzzled Shaded lovingly.

Indicus closed his eyes as he continued to cuddle up to Crystal a smile shown on his face.

Shaded nods "I remember that party" he says and nuzzles her back lovingly and wraps a wing around her "Rarity, I know you and Crystal have become good friends in such a short time, i want you to know that if none of us are around but you are and she needs help, please give her cuddles and snuggles"

Rarity nodded and smiled. "I will, she is a great friend and it means a lot to the both of you besides when I accepted forming a herd with Indicus and Crystal I figured I would at least become like family if not lovers with Indicus and Crystal. So it is no issue to comfort Crystal when she needs it." Rarity gave Shaded a kiss on the cheek.

Shaded smiles and nods "That is true, and in essence Celestia, Luna and Cadence as well" he says, closing his eyes and flicking his ears cutely. He truly hadn't been this happy in a long time, not since the day he had proposed to Crystal and she had said yes, but that was also a few days before Sombra went insane and tyrannical.

Rarity nodded and closed her own eyes letting the sound of Shaded's breathing lull her to sleep. Luna entered soon after the entire group had fallen asleep, looking at them all she smiled and entered into the dream realm to make sure that her sister, adopted brother and their friends would sleep soundly.

Crystal's dreams were happy for once, she was dreaming of the foals she would be having with both Indicus and Shaded, they were playing happily as Shaded and Indicus were at work and Crystal was looking after them, cooking dinner for the family that she now had. "Such a lovely day, I sure do hope that everyone else is having a good day as well" she says to herself

Dream Indicus walked through the door with a smile on his face and gave Crystal a kiss on the cheek as the foals ran to greet their father. He entertained them for a moment before smelling what was cooking. "Smells good honey." Indicus commented. Shaded would be back from work shortly.

Crystal smiles and kisses him back "Thank you dear, how was work?" she asks as she gives him a nuzzle and smiles as the foals all crowd around him, eager to hear about their father's day at work.

 

Shaded soon enters and smiles as he goes over to his son and hugs him "Hey champ, what's wrong?" he asks as the colt curled up in his arms.

"It went well nothing major happened today just the standard warnings an a couple of angst filled teens trying to be cool."  Indicus answered looking at his foals all of whom shown signs of their heavily mixed heritage.

 

The changeling child looked at his father and wept, " Some bullies at school made fun of me being a changeling my brothers and sisters defended me but it still makes me feel bad, they even called me a parasite."

Crystal nods and smiles but she soon frowns at what her son had said "I think we're going to have to have a chat with miss Cheerilee,, this is the second time our son has been bullied"

 

Shaded nods and looks to Indicus "I'll deal with it mate" he says as he hugs his son close to him "Hey, your mama Rarity is coming over with your sister Sweetie Belle, you don't want them to see you all sad like this, now do you champ?"

The changeling child immediately calmed down excited to see his aunt (Rarity and Sweetie Belle are sisters if I remember right.) he always loved her singing and they would often ask for her to sing them a lullaby. "Yay Sweetie Belle is coming over!" The others cheered along. It was a treat to see Sweetie for the children as she was quite busy performing.

 

Indicus laughed finding the excitement quite adorable.

Crystal smiles and then looks to them, hugging her son "There's my boy, now if I'm correct, Princesses Lulu and Tia are also coming over for dinner" she says and smiles at both her husbands, kissing them both on their lips.

 

Shaded blushes and kisses her back "Yes they are, they said they'll be here in about three hours"

Indicus smiles and plays with the children showing them various tricks and even levitating them upon request. The hours passed and dinner was finished and Celestia and Luna entered the cabin, as the foals ran up to them in excitement shouting Auntie Celly and Lulu.

 

Luna watched the dream with a smile glad her life long friend was dreaming happily. She then moved on to Shaded Persona's dream.

Shaded was having a rather similar dream, except there was a darkness to it. He was alone in his study, pacing round worriedly. He then goes to Crystal's room and checks in on her. She seemed to be sleeping restlessly and he was doing his best to calm her, but he wasn't doing very well at it alone. "Indicus..I need you here old friend" he says softly

Luna decided to let the dream play out instead of intervening right away. 

 

Indicus entered the study having noticed Crystal's restlessness. "What's wrong Shaded, I saw Crystal was having a rough time sleeping." Indicus showed plenty of concern for his friend and his Wife's other partner.

"She's been twitching a lot, moaning as well" he says and feels her forehead, touching his horn to hers "It must be a really bad dream this time, possibly about the usurping of her throne and the genocide of our kind" he says softly, "I've been doing my best, but I'm about to pass ou..." he collapses next to his lover.

 

Suddenly the changeling colt runs in "DADDY!" he runs to him and curls up next to him "Daddy, please get up, p-please get up"

Indicus ran up to his friend trying to figure out what was going on at the same time trying to calm the changeling colt down with reassurances that he would find out what happened. While in reality Indicus had no idea where to even start both were uncounsious and un responsive leaving Indicus worried and wondering how he would tell the children.

Crystal twitched and moaned something in her sleep in the dream as she was now falling ill, holes starting to appear all over her body. "Betrayer...usurper..murderer" she mutters and she was now crying in her sleep, "S-Shaded go! O-or he'll kill you too! Go!" in the dream, she wakes up and sees Shaded unconscious with her son ""NO!"

 

Shaded wakes up and had a cold sweat

Luna tried to stop the dream turned nightmare but was blocked by some unknown force and all she could do was watch the dream devolve. Luna watched as Shaded woke up and decided to try and go to Indicus' dream in hopes the same did not happen or at least to prevent it

It would seem that Indicus' dream wasn't much different from Crystal's. He had gotten home from work and was playing with the foals as his wife was finishing up with cooking dinner before their guests arrived. 

 

The changeling colt looked up at him "Father? When i grow up, I want to be like you and uncle Shaded" he says proudly

Indicus smiled at the colt and rubbed the colts mane, "With enough dedication you just might be able to. How about this, if you want to learn to do what I do I will start training you to defend yourself when you are eight in two years. I warn you it will not be easy but if it is what you are sure you want in two years then I will train you. It will hurt but it will start you on the path. Is that agreeable?" Indicus stated with a light smile remembering the training his father put him through when he was the colts age.

The colt smiles and nods "If it means being like you and uncle, protecting the innocent ponies of Equestria and finding a beautiful mare like mama and auntie Rarity, then yes" he says as he curls up in his father's lap lovingly "I missed you, and father, can you come to parent career day tomorrow please?"

Indicus smiled once more and nodded, "Sure, Luna wouldn't mind me taking a day off, I'll be there tomorrow." Indicus hugged his son seeing a part of himself in the changeling colt that same part that wished to help and protect others.

 

Luna smiled relived that so far the dream was a good one.

Crystal smiles as she brings over a mug of hot coffee for him and kisses his cheek "We're all very proud of you and Shaded darling" she says as she sits next to him and strokes her son's mane gently with her wing. "Will Shaded and Rarity be joining us tonight or will they be spending some much needed alone time?"
