"I'm glad I have had the fourtune to meet Crystal..." Indicus looked to see Shaded sleeping and smiled, "I would have fell to the succubus by now if it weren't for you, Crystal, thank you." Indicus whispered.

 

Indicus couldn't bring himself to go back to sleep and the day would be coming in a few hours so he walked the halls his mind filled with various thoughts, from the she demon in his head to Crystal.

Crystal smiled in her sleep, obviously having another peaceful dream that Luna could watch over.

 

Shaded looks to Luna and smiles, nuzzling her and whispers "Thank you" before spreading his wings and flying off to find somewhere peaceful to rest and think on everything that had happened within the last couple of days.

Celestia opened her eyes like every other day, waking up to get ready to raise the sun. She looked back to see Crystal sleeping on her tail. Celestia smiled and gently got up removing her tail from under Crystal using a few pillows in its place. She then walked to the balcony where she and Luna would lower the moon and she would raise the sun.

Luna was already standing on the balcony, wearing her lovely night gown and she smiles at her "It's so wonderful to have Crystal back with us" she says softly and nuzzles her sister, looking to the sleeping queen and smiles "We'll be sure that she is never in want for love"

Celestia was still wearing the dress from the other day having fallen asleep before she could change out of it. "Agreed sister, I must say our adopted brother has found himself quite the catch. I was quite worried he would distance himself for eternity from anything resembling a relationship after Dusk Flower. I was even more worried that doing so would cause him to release the presence in his mind. A very powerful Demon and it seems to be attached to him though how he gained such a burden is quite mysterious. We still don't know his origins."

 

Celestia shook her head, "We can discuss this further after our duty here is finished." Celestia charged her magic and released it her eyes glowed with power as she raised the sun.

Luna nods "I agree" she says as her horn glows and she begins to lower the moon "And thus my night endeth and your day begins" she says with a soft yawn and smiles "As for that succubus, she's gotten more powerful, when I was watching his dreams, she took over and I was powerless to stop her, it was only due to Shaded's due diligence that Indicus was able to wake up"

"I am very glad for Shaded's interference then, knowing what I know about Succubi they can be anywhere from just wanting a quick lay, to wanting to gain enough power to rival a god. Unfortunately I think this one is the latter and from what I do know about this one it seems to be in love with Indicus something very odd even among the tame succubi. Though if she seduces Indicus and is released with the power Indicus possesses and her already substantial power along with any he might give her. They will be incredibly hard to defeat and I don't trust he will be able to be distracted long enough for the elements to activate. We may have to...."

 

Celestia's started to sob "I don't want to have to put him down should he fall. I don't want a repeat of what happened in the past, he is like a younger brother to me. I know he can resist the Succubus's allure but the chance is still there and I don't want to have to choose between my little ponies, and my family again."

Luna nuzzles her "We won't Tia, I promise, I've gotten in contact with a...a long lost friend of ours, in fact, he is someone you have once loved" she says with a soft smile "He finally...found his way back to us" she says and smiles softly "In fact, he's waiting for you now, go on, I'll see that Rarity and Crystal wake up" she nuzzles her once more

 

Meanwhile, a rather disheveled and tired looking Starswirl the Bearded was pacing around the throne room

Celestia perked up having a very vivid idea of who her sister was hinting at. "Star Swirl is still alive?" Celestia muttered before briskly walking to the throne room.

 

Meanwhile Indicus was walking the halls of the castle, he saw the sun raise and the moon lower indicating the sisters had one their duties. He still was swarmed with thoughts most revolving around the Succubus in his head. He was at loss of how she even got there. Then there was the question of who his birth parents were, whatever they were he knew he had thestral and unicorn blood in him along with something else. 

 

Indicus decided to put the thoughts to the back of his head when he entered the throne room to see an unknown stallion standing about. On reflex Indicus readied his magic and reached for his sword with one hand while his other glowed in unison with his horn. "Who the hell are you?"

Star Swirl chuckles a little "Ah my dear colt, I am the royal unicorn known as Star Swirl the Bearded" he says "Lower your sword and I'd advice your voice as well, you wouldn't want to wake up the sleeping mares, now would you?" he asks before his ears perk at the familiar sound of Celestia's footsteps, he looks up to see her hurrying in and in a very soft yet clearly loving tone "Celestia.." he says "You look as lovely as ever" he walks over to her and kisses her on the cheek

Indicus was quite hesitant to lower his weapon but once Celestia came in the room and did not vaporize the unicorn and even let him kiss her he lowered his guard. He knew about the famed unicorn mage Star Swirl but did not think the stallion found a way to live for over a thousand years but it seemed Celestia recognized him so he would give the stallion a chance.

 

Celestia on the other hand was quite suprised to see a stallion she once called her lover alive an well long after his age should have killed him. "How are you still alive after all these years and where have you been?"

Star Swirl sighs and sits down, pulling her into his lap "My love, I was sucked into the void. I was perfecting the time travel spell, but something went wrong and..i got sucked into the void of space and time. It was my love for you that kept me alive the whole time, that gave me the drive to find my way back" he says and wraps his arms around her, nuzzling into her neck and mane softly "Love is a powerful magic, as you niece Cadence could very well tell you" he says softly and sighs "I've missed you so, and if I could have found a way back sooner, I certainly would have used it, I swear"

Celestia tenderly kissed Star Swirl. "I believe you and I trust you tried to come back as quick as you could." Celestia paused before deciding to introduce Indicus, "Well the stallion you just met is Indicus an adoptive brother thanks to Luna. He is quite protective of us and his friends. He is helping us out currently with a corruption problem. But the thing I'm sure you will be most interested in is his skill with the rare art of Shadow Magic, I would dare say he could be considered one of the very few masters if it alive today."

Star Swirl nods "The ability to use shadow magic is rare indeed, mastering it, even rarer" he says then nods to Indicus "Well then, it is a pleasure to meet the adopted brother of the love of my life" he says with a slight bow, he then looks over to Crystal and smiles as he continues to hug Celestia "She looks so peaceful, and as cute as the day she was born, I remember that day well."

Indicus nodded and held out a hand, "Well nice to meet you Star Swirl." Indicus smiles as he looks at Crystal sleeping peacefully. "It seems there are quite a surprising number that knew Crystal when she was much younger. No matter I can agree to her cuteness as she sleeps." Indicus chuckled.

Star Swirl nods "If I've been gone as long as I have, then that would make her over a century old.. what have I missed?" he asks, noticing a flicker of Crystal's ear then he looks to Indicus "and I'd be guessing you're her partner? Well congratulations, you've gotten yourself a really sweet mare there"

Indicus nodded, "You have missed quite a bit from a country's founding to some things I'll let Crystal talk about when she is ready. Your guess is correct I'm her stallionfriend and I have learned how lucky I am to have met her quite quickly, she is quite a great mare indeed."

He smiles as he gently slides Celestia off of his lap and moves over to the sleeping Crrystal. He gently brushes a hand through her mane, causing her to slowly open her eyes to see him smiling at her "S-Starry? I-is it." he nods and she quickly lunges at him, crying into his embrace "I-I thought I-I'd never see you again" she sobs

 

He simply smiles and strokes her mane "Shh, it's alright little one, I'm here now, daddy is here" he says softly to her. He then sees a look of query on Indicus' face "No, I'm not her actual father, but I was already a young stallion when she was born, and her first word she said to me was Daddy, I just decided to roll with it. She never actually had a father, so I took the role until I...I disappeared" he explains,still hugging his 'daughter' and stroking her mane and ears to help soothe her.

 

Shaded opens one eye "Good to see you again you ol' coot, but yes Indi, what he says is true"

Indicus gives a nod in understanding and stays near Crystal as Star Swirl comforts her the sight was quite heartwarming reminding him of coming home after his last tour in the Marines. Indicus left the pair to be reunited after so many years apart.

Crystal sniffles as she looks up to see Indicus, she reaches out "Indi" she says, reaching out for him. 

Star Swirl smiles as he lets go "I think my little filly wants you, son" he says as he goes to return to Tia, nuzzling her lovingly "I'm just happy she has so many ponies to love her my dear, I was so worried that she might go..." he closes his eyes and shakes his head "In any case, should we tell them?"

"Indicus walked closer to Crystal kneeling down to her "Hey Crystal." Indicus kisses her cheek "You sleep well?" 

 

Celestia turned towards her coltfriend after hearing his question, pausing for a moment to think, and nodded. "It would be for the best, secrets never have helped me in the past."

Crystal smiles up at him and nods "Yes love,and I'm even happier that daddy is back" she says, nuzzling him lovingly and kisses his cheek

 

Star Swirl smiles "Well everypony, you see, with the fact that Crystal never had a father and her mother died when she was still a young filly, Tia and I..well before I disappeared, we had planned on adopting her as our own daughter"

Indicus chuckles, "I would imagine so, especially after so long." Indicus loops an arm around Crystal's back lightly holding her next to him. When the news of officially adopting Crystal came about he smiled deciding not to bother worrying about the adopted brother thing that would make Celestia his sister and mother in law. He figured some kingdoms lines were more convoluted and they were blood relatives his relations would be through adoption. "That's great congrats to the both of you and Crystal. Now do i call you mother in law or sister." Indicus jokingly added.

Celestia giggles "whatever you want just not sunbutt or late for dinner" (sorry I just had to) she says with a smile and sighing as she wraps her arms around Star Swirl lovingly and nuzzles him "We're a true family now" she says softly

 

Crystal smiles and nuzzles Indicus "I-I have a mummy and daddy now"

"I'll keep that in mind sis," Indicus smiled "Still I'm glad to see you so happy Celestia. There is one thing for sure there will be plenty of weddings in the future, my own and now yours." Indicus looked at his marefriend seeing her very happy herself. "Yep you now will have a mother and father." Indicus held her close, her excitement quite tangible to him and oddly invigorating as if he ate a good dish.
