It was a couple days after the rescue mission and both Chrysalis and Shade have had a chance to rest and recover, and as such, it was now time for the group of four to return to the palace in Canterlot, and to prepare for the Grand Galloping Gala, as it was a couple of days after. "Indicus honey? We're all ready, have you asked your mother to send us the chariot?" Crystal asks Indicus as she helps Chrysalis get dressed.

"Indicus nodded, "Of course the chariot will be here quite soon." Indicus saw a chariot colored after his mother in the sky. "Speak of a devil." The chariot slowed down and landed in front of them. The two ponies pulling the chariot were both Bat-ponies wearing dark blue armor with Luna's mark on the side Indicus let the three mares on before getting on himself and the chariot took off to Canterlot

The two bat ponies were Night Vision and Night Flight, they both smiles "Hello you two, Oh Sugardrop insisted on coming along, she should be asleep though, so please try not startle her" Night Vision says with a smile and Crystal smiles "Such a little angel, and don't worry we will do our best not to disturb her, but I can't say I will stop my sister and daughter from squeeing over how adorable she is" she says as she slowly gets in and uses her magic to gently lift the filly up then placing her in her lap.

Indicus softly chuckled, "Sugadrop coming along is not issue." Indicus ruffled the fillies mane a little as Chrysalis did her best not to squee at the adorable sight. Something that would always break her mask even when she was trying to keep the Hive together. Chrysalis was successful at not squeeing but did follow Indicus in ruffling Sugardrop's mane.

Sugardrop stirs a little in her sleep, but stays asleep "Mmm wuv wou daddy" she says softly, curling up more in Crystal's lap, Shade couldn't help but stifle a squee "Oh my goodness, she is just so precious, no wonder you two adore her so much" she whispers to both Indicus and Crystal

"Love you two Sugar." Indicus whispered smiling when he saw Shade's reaction to Sugardrops. Indicus softly chuckled and Chrysalis just cuddled him. Indicus did not protest the treatment, ang gave Crystal and Chrysalis a kiss.

Crystal smiles "It's amazing how she can tell is ruffling her mane, especially during her sleep" she says and gently pets Sugardrop "She is a little angel, and os is Dawn, the other night, they even had joint dreams where they were worried that Indicus, Arachnia and I disappeared, but that will never happen"

Indicus nodded, "I will never willingly abandon them, you, Arachnia, Chrysalis, and everyone else. That is something I can promise." Indicus nuzzled Crystal letting his promise hang in the air. Chrysalis just smiled.

The group would be at the castle soon enough  and they landed on arrival with out a storm in sight.

Crystal smiles and nods "I know sweetheart, but the heart of a child is full of innocence, hopes, dreams and yes fears" she says and gently holds the filly close to her chest "But it is a parent or guardian's job to make sure that those fears are dispelled"

Indicus gave Sugar a small kiss on her forehead and whispered in her ear, "I love you Sugardrop and I will always be there for you."  Indicus gave Shade a small kiss on her forehead as well. "The same gose for you Shade I may have only met you a few days ago but I will treat you no different then if you were of m,y blood." When Indicus noticed the chariot landed he hopped out and helped the three women and Sugardrop out of the chariot.

Crystal smiles as Night Vision then gently lifts the filly up and into her arms "You'll get to see your other daddy and mummies again after you wake up little angel" she coos to her filly before nodding to Indicus and walking off towards her room at the palace. 

Crystal smiles "Shall we then? I do believe that your mother and aunt are awaiting all of us at the throne room"

Indicus lead the group to the throne room where his mother and Celestia waited. Having already taken care of day court by the time Indicus, Crystal, Shade and Chrysalis arrived. "We're here." Indicus announced unnecessarily as he opened the throne room doors.

Celestia smiles as she looks up from reading a report "Hello dear, your mother is in the library, I shall call her" she says and calls out "LUNA! THEY ARE BACK!" she calls out to Luna, hoping that she would have heard.

Luna pops in the throne room rubbing her temples, "I heard you sister, and they complain about my Royal Voice." Luna looks at the party of four and rushed forward to hug Chrysalis, who returned the hug. "It's great to see you again Chrysalis, looking much better after recovery as well." Luna then hugged Indicus, "It is good to see you and Crystal were successful with helping Chrysalis recover." Indicus smiled and hugged his mom back.

Crystal nuzzles her and hugs her back "Hello Luna dear, and of course we were, I'd never let family down" she says with a smile, "Shade sweetie, step forward so that the Princesses may meet you" she says and the small and somewhat shy mare steps forward and bows.

"Good morning your highnesses, I would like to thank you for your hospitality towards my mother, father and now myself and my aunt" she says softly

Luna smiled, "It is no problem at all in fact we were childhood friends and would play together during diplomatic visits." Luna gave a distant stare before coming back to the present. "It is nice to get to know you better Shade."

Shade smiles "So I heard, mother often spoke quite fondly of you and Princess Celestia" she says as she nuzzles Crystal who nods "I do remember quite fondly the days where I would spend laying in the gardens with the two of you, just gazing up into the sky and deciding on what clouds looked like"

Luna nodded with a smile on her face. "Those were the days, when life was a lot simpler. No worries about leading a kingdom. Just and watching clouds pass as we said what they looked like. Chrysalis would join always a bit late because of weapons training or tactics."

Chrysalis nods "Farther was always making sure my training came first" she says with a sigh "It was a pain really, I really missed a lot when training was going on, and it didn't even help me when my hivelings were in danger of starvation"

Luna patted Chrysalis on the back. "It's fine besides it did help you lead the Changelings out of the Crystal Empire and keep them alive for hundreds of years. Don't sell yourself short." Indicus just put a hand on Chrysalis's shoulder "Mom is right you did a lot for the Changelings don't let what you could not do blind you to what you did do."

Chrysalis smiles "At the expense of Cadence and Shining Armor though..." she says softly but smiles a bit more "In a way though, even though teh rest of the hive died due to starvation, I am glad that we were stopped"

Indicus hugged Chrysalis, "It is good that you were stopped if only because once you came off the love high you might have been left with just regrets. Me meeting you on good terms and getting to know you is another plus for me at least." Indicus gave Chrysalis a kiss square on her lips. "None the less I think we may have something between us like I do with your sister and may have with Arachnia. That would not be possible if not for how things turned out."

Luna smiles and nods "Indeed, sometimes a little defeat is a good thing, and I'm speaking from experience" she says, having had been the first 'villain' to have been reformed, and even her Nightmare Moon side who had settled down was rather useful. Speaking of whom, she shows herself "Indeed, I was crazy and bent on revenge, but then Twilight and her friends reformed me"

Indicus walked up and hugged Nightmare Moon with a smile. "Hi Mom nice to see you again. As for the Elements I would say they just gave you both a chance to calm down, instead of just taking revenge without thinking."

Moon smiles and nuzzles him "Hello sweetheart, I just thought I'd show Chrysalis that even someone like me can be reformed, then she can be too" she says and kisses his cheek and then looks to the Changeling Queen "Hello dear"
