How come Rainbow Dash is appearing more often when she's a full Wonderbolt?

Why is Rainbow Dash appearing more often in these episodes around Ponyville and why is she still living in Ponyville? Didn't she become a full fledged member of Wonderbolts? If Wonderbolts was a real military branch shouldn't she be stationed in a fort, camp or barrack somewhere?

There's probably times where they have to stay at the WA for training or events. Rainbow Dash just happens to be free on the days where she appears in an episode, unless that episode involves Wonderbolt stuff.

 

And no, they don't have to stay at the Wonderbolts Academy all the time. Equestria's more relaxed. Not to mention you can easily travel anywhere in the country in a day or less, so a message can be given to have members return quickly if they're needed.

Because she is one of the main characters. They can't just write her out of the show at this point.
