Just then the doorbell rang and JJ went to answer it, only to get tacklehugged by Sierra followed by Silverpaw and her cubs, but something was off..Silverpaw was shaking and looked as if though she had been crying.. 

Elera sees and frowns "Dear Silver love, what ever happened?" she asked then noticed she had bags with her, "H-he... oh no!" Elera immediately jumps and hugs her "Oh Silver, sweetie, I'm so sorry, b-but where are you staying?"

She looks down "S-shelter"

Elera hugs her tighter, "No, no shelter will ever do for my darling Silverpaw, we've got plenty of room here, why not stay with us? I'm sure Amion won't mind"

"Shit" Amion muttered too quiet for anyone to hear "Yes of course Silverpaw, you and the cubs may stay here as long as you need." Amion had no idea how to react especially with so little information and he really did not want to ask fearing it would just worsen things.

Sierra purrs "Good, I knw you two would do the right thing, I'd have her at my house, but it's a little small, and the cubs need space to run around" she says as she hugs Silverpaw and nuzzles her "It's okay you can tell them"

Silverpaw sniffles "M-my h...husband, he was in a barfight, defending my honor a-and he was kinghit a-and..he died" she whimpers

Amion felt a familiar feeling of cold fury build in his chest. He crushed the feeling managing to keep calm. Amion placed a hand on Silverpaw's shoulder, "Hey we will help you through this. You are in the arms of friends."

Silverpaw nods and nuzzles him "T-thank you Amion and Elera" she says as she then picks up her cubs "I-I'm sorry to be such a bother though" she says somewhat sadly. 

Elera shakes her head "Darling, you're not a bother at all, we love you and your cubs, you're all family"

Amion returned the gesture by lightly rubbing Silverpaw's back for a moment. "Like Elera said you are not a bother, your as much family as our parents are. If you need anything at all from me just let me know and I'm sure the same goes for Elera."

Silverpaw started to purr a little as she nuzzles him "T-thank you, both of you" she says, sniffling a little and t hen holds her cubs close to her "What do you say to uncle Amion dears?"

Sylvia, the youngest, looks up at Amion with big, wide, beautiful eyes and smiles "T-thank you uncle Amion for g-giving us a home"

Elera smiles "Yes sweetie, this your home, there's plenty of room and space, this is your permanent home now"

Amion smiled and gently hugged Sylvia. "It is no problem at all. I couldn't stand back and let you both and your mother go without a home. Like Elera said you have a home here as long as you want." Amion looked at Silverpaw, "And don't worry about money I make plenty for everyone to live comfortably."

Elera smiles as she hugs the cubs "You're all family and uncle Amion is right, we've got more than enough money for all of us to live comfortably, and we just want you two and your mummy to be safe and happy"

Silverpaw smiles "T-thank you all, but won't this hinder your fishing trip?"

Midna giggles "Of course not silly, you're all more than welcome to come with us"

Amion grinned "It is for family and friends after all." Amion takes some of Silverpaw's bags and gestured for her to follow him. "Elera, I'll show Silverpaw to her room and you can find one for the children. Sound good?"

Elera smiles and nods "Of course darling, come on little ones, lets find you both a room of your own" she says as she picks up their bags and leads the way to one of the guest rooms, as Sierra giggles and carries the two cubs.

Amion takes Silverpaw to another guest room, "Well here we are, I thought you could use a place to rest that would be a bit quieter then a room with two children in it." Amion set Silverpaw's bags down. "Well rooms yours make yourself at home."

Silverpaw smiles and nods, hugging him "Thank you again Amion, you have no idea how much this means to me" she says before going to the bed and laying down "Amion d-do you think..if it is alright with you and Elera..maybe, become..surrogate parents for the cubs? In case..in case something happens to me?"

Amion looks at Silverpaw, "I don't mind and I'm sure Elera wouldn't either but I'm sure it won't come to that." Amion kneeled down and put a hand on Silverpaw's shoulder. "I can only imagine the pain you feel with your husband gone but I do know you are a strong woman. You will pull through."

Silverpaw smiles "Thank you Amion, you always so kind to me when I was little, and you still are" she says, closing her eyes "Please check on Elera and my cubs, they can be a bit of a pawfull" she says with a giggle and then soon fell asleep.

"It's no problem, your like a little sister to me." Amion whispered giving Silverpaw's shoulder a light squeeze and leaving the room to check on the Cubs.

"Hey Elera how were the Cubs?" Amion asked.

Elera smiles as she was laying on the bed, cradling the two sleeping cubs in her arms "Little angels as always, and Silverpaw, dear? How is she coping? Should I check in on her in an hour or so to see how she is doing?"

"Silver is asleep right now though she did request we be surrogate parents if something happens to her. So I think she is more worried about the cubs being without parents I think she will pull through fine now that she has solid ground beneath her feet." Amion sat on the side of the bed idly rubbing Elera's shoulder.

Elera nods and hugs him "I hope you told her that of course we will be surrogate parents for those two little angels" she says as she goes to their own room and lays down for a bit "Today's been quite eventful, hasn't it love?"

Amion followed Elera to their room "Of course I did. Silverpaw is like a little sister to me and I know how much you like children so the answer was obvious."

He then laid down next to Elera. Yes it has, but we got to make Silverpaw happy and we are in a position to better help her with her loss. So I say this eventful day turned out well."

Elera smiles "Good, and yes it definitely did turn out well, I just hope the cabin is big enough for all of us, though I suppose, given the weather is good, some of us could camp out in tents" she murrs and curls her tail with his, nuzzling him.

"Myself and the guys will be in tent's and the women and children will get the cabin." Amion wrapped his arms around Elera after feeling their tails intertwine. A hand once more found her belly while the other found her chest right over Elera's heart.

"That's a good plan dear, but I'm sure the others would like some time with their respective partner..or partners, in our parents' case" she says with a giggle and nuzzles him, "mm I cannot wait, this trip cannot come soon enough"

"Nothing is set in stone yet and how sleeping arrangements will be made will largely be dependent on the individual." Amion kissed Elera again and his hands reached to rub her bare belly and feel her heartbeat more clearly.

"In four days now we will be going so hold in there."

Elera smiles and giggles as she places a paw on Amion's paw that was on her belly "Mm I will love, it's just going to be like old times, except now we know that our parents are swinging  with each other, and we are all much older, which means I can imagine that our mothers will be greatly teasing both you and Staasi" she giggles.
