Haste walked into the training area to find a large variety of weapons, from bow and arrows to even trident, not that she was going to use the trident, a possible disappointment for the game-makers, Aura followed behind her "so what are you going to use?" she asked "I was thinking of the Bow and Arrow" "okay show me your accuracy" she walked Haste towards one of the dummies, and aimed for the head, she missed by hitting the heart instead "that was good" Aura said "you were aiming for the heart right?" "yeaaahh" Haste said avoiding eye contact with her she looked at the other pony "My name is Haste, District 4" she said

Fireworks smiled again. "I'm Fireworks, I'm sure we will be great allies!" she said to the ponies. She could almost hear Night Star saying "You got a lot of allies, less chance of getting killed, obviously, you'vw got to kill them someway to claim victory, that is a sad truth." Fireworks shook the thought out of her head, 'If I don't backstab them when they're asleep, they won;t backstab ME when I'M asleep' she thought.

"Prince lightning but call me Prince" He looked at the ponies already training, "I guess we should start aswell. Farewell, I'll see you after I do some exercises" he left with a smile DVD went to the princess "Nicely done, now let's choose your weapon of choice". They went into their area and saw their weapons rack. Prince looked at awe "Choose wisely" Prince took a Longbow about as tall as him "Main weapon" he took 5 tomahawks "Backup" Lastly he took a short golden sword "Secondary". The Princess seemed impressed "Quote the array of weaponry, Long, medium and short range!" she looked down the range "Right" she pushed a button and a target at 100 meters came up "Being the longbow archer, your allies will depend upon You to shoot targets way further." Prince put his left hoof on the bottom of the bow and cocked a arrow in.

Fireworks nodded at Prince Lightning. She looked at which weapons he choose. Fireworks saw Night Star and she called her in. "So, choose." said Night Star. Fireworks nodded. She looked at the different weapons. She got some knives, long and small. "I throw these great." she said. Fireworks and Night Star had agreed on not telling anypony about her explosives. Fireworks was a bit to freaky when it came to those and they thought it would make her loose allies.

 

 

(I'm guessing there can be explosives? My pony is best with them so, yeah, but for the real thing. Hehehe, you'll see what I mean when I say freaky later. I thought of it yesterday .)

(Well there's always the ground mines in the ground at the beginning of the game, if you can try to do the same thing the career tributes did on the book, than you got no probs with explosives)

( I can't get dynamite just like that then, right? Yeah I got no probs with them explosives, Fireworks just plain wierd with them, at least I think she's wierd. The bullseye is called bullseye right?)

 

Fireworks walked over to the bulls eye and threw one of her knifes. Right in the center. She smiled and her smile went away quickly. She had promised Night Star not to use explosives until the grading. 'That is just tooooooo boring.' Fireworks thought to herself.

Prince pulled back the string slowly as now began bending. He lined up his sight, The Princess came in close to examine how he aimed. He ignored her, he knew she wanted him to. After envisioning a bullseye, prince began to increase his angle. He was like a howitzer getting in position. He took one final glance and let go! Whoosh! It flew faster than a bullet but it landed right becide the target. "Once more" she said in his ear. Prince cocked another bow, he slowly winded it up and fired once more. Whoosh! It hit near the bottom of the target. "A hit to the mid thigh, no less, looks like you got range now let's try speed" The Princess grabbed a slightly smaller bow but it wasnt as big. "Alright." she pushed the button again and 6 targets appeared "Begin!"

Aura put a hoof on top of Haste "well are you going to look at the others or are you going to continue the training" Haste shook her head "yeah I'll get with the training" she walked somewhere else to see what other weapons she could get her hooves on "how 'bout that speed you were talking about" "as in running or flying" "why not both?" "um...okay" she trotted over to do a lap around the training area, she noticed a few of the ponies using the weapons, if she survived flying across and not getting killed or shot then she was going to obviously surprise her mentor she stretched her wings and got ready "Haste there's a la-" Haste flew across the training room flying knives & arrows both missing hitting her, not that they were supposed to hit her, she reached the end and checked for any knives probably already pierced her coat so much she didn't notice, but nope, her coat was that same golden color as ever she smiled and flew back towards her mentor "told ya'h I was agile" she said grinning "okay then, I guess you're ready, you can go to your room, to sleep for tonight, tomorrow you got interviews, and then The games...." a awkward silence fell between both of them "you got your allies?" "huh? I don't think so" "go and make some, after you're done go to the 4^th floor for your room, and I'll order you some dinner" "okay" Haste shrugged and walked towards the other ponies

Prince threw up 3 arrows, almost in bullet time, Primve grabbed the one closet to him, cocked and fired so fast it all looked like one single motion. He took the other two in the same manner. It looked like forever for him but for the princess who watched in a understanding look it was only Agee seconds. 3 targets left, Prince threw up three and repeated the action but cut off 2 seconds this time. He never even changed his sight. "Where did you learn that?" the princess asked "Oh it's just a shortcut I thought up of, you seem to be way faster when you have the arrows right becide you. It teaches you control too, if you mess up it can kill you" "Hmmm I see, well I'm heading to our suite on floor 7, confirm who your allies are and practice with a sword and shield " "What about the tomahawks?" "There's a hollster on the inside, put them there". As she walked away Prince took out his longbow again and pushed the button.

Steve went to the equipment and Whirlwind asked "What weapon?" Steve pickup an ax and started to practice on dummies. After his dummy training was over, he picked up smaller axes and threw them one at a time all close to the bulls-eye and one hit the bulls-eye.

He quickly shot seven Dark Bolts, six of them hitting targets, the seventh one ricocheting through the station before returning to my hand. The targets were now ashes and some random strands of wood.

Lockhart bindfolded himself as arrows and other thrown weapons shot at him from a device. Lockhart easy blocked the arrows with his bracers and avoided the bigger weapons. "This robot will attack you like tributes would" His trainer said as he turned it on. He didn't give Lockhart a change to take off the bind fold. He channeled the energy from his horn to his bracers and attacked it. "Good, good" His trainer said.

Prince lowered his bow and turned his attention to haste. "Its just logic and sleight of hand. Nothing special really, you probably would've done if I never did." Prince slowly cocked another bow. "You seem like your better when it comes to this than I really."

"Really?" she asked a bit confused "I mean... yeah, I'm pretty good with Bow and arrows, but if you really wan't to see something wait in the games, the other tributes won't see it coming, except you, though, you seem like you'd make a great ally" she said smiling

"Why thank you, to tell you the truth. I will only use this when it's needed, I dont like it as a primary at all." Prince put down the bow and took out a tomahawk. He looked at it for a second then got in position to throw it at haste. Just as he looked like he was about to throw it, he flipped on its back, puting the handle towards Haste and the blade towards him. "You would be a great Ally to have my friend." he looked at Haste with a questioning look wether she would take the tomahawk or not. "Sorry, it's a way of showing trust back in district 1."

Whirlwind asked Steve to get allies earlier so he went to Haste and asked "What weapon are you good with?" (he is indirectly trying to get haste trust) then Steve realized that Whirlwind was gone and thought "He probably went to our room. What room was it again? 9?"

Hate chuckled, and took the Tomahawk "then it's settled, I go my ally" she was about to leave until she was interrupted by the other pony "Weapon? I'm good with any weapon, but if you wan't to see somethin' you should see my knife throwing skills" she pretended to toss an imaginary knife at one of the targets, "I can hit almost anything with them, from the fish back home to the other tributes" she said the last part grinning a bit

Diamond Quill went in the training center with Steel. "Weapon training is a good way to get allies. What's your best skill?" Steel asked. "Um...spears and arrows..I guess" she replied. "Go over there and throw that spear into the heart of that dummy and then quickly shoot an arrow in the head if you can...quickly."Steel instructed. "I'll try" Diamond replie nervously. Diamond grabbed a spear and walked over to the bow and arrows. There was a dummy a few feet away. She threw the spear into the heart and grabbed a bow and arrow quickly. She drew it back and released. It hit the stomach, not the head. She looked to Steel. He nodded in approval. Diamond looked to see if anyone wanted to be allies. *I may be from District 2 and a hard competitor* she thought. *But I'm friendly too.*

"Sure, I came here hoping for one or 2 allies anyways, although I don't wan't many allies" Haste said darting her eyes somewhere off

Look at all these talents. Don't worry, they can't throw knives at you when all their blood is going out their necks. Or can they... I'm standing off to the side, not attacking any dummies or learning other skills..
