Flickerfire was seated in a comfortable plush chair, wearing a crimson red dress. It didn't have sparkles or anything, so it wasn't too flashy. She sipped some cider, then set her glass down on the table in front of her. She awaited the first tribute from District One.

Diamond Quill stepped up on stage, ready to be interviewed.

Flickerfire gracefully waved her hoof at Diamond Quill, telling the girl tribute to have a seat next to her. "Let the interview begin."

Haste looked at the small screen to see the tribute, and how the interviews went, she looked over at Prince "you know I wanted her to be my ally too" she said sitting down

"I trust your intuition, if she wants to then lets all be friends!" he said with a smile. "I wonder where she went..." said Prince looking around cautionly for his trainer. "She wouldn't dissapear like that..." he thought to himself. "Where's your trainer?" prince said half turning toward haste.

"My Mentor?" she asked looking around the room "I don't know, she followed me here" she finished still looking around

Fireworks sighed. The interviews were so slow. She found someponies talking. She thought it was those ponies she met before. She had to make allies. She smiled. "Hi guys! I'm from District 12, I belive we have already met right?" she said to two ponies who she thought were Haste and Prince something.

Prince sat down and curled his tail around him then stood up straight. "We may have, I'm no good at faces" he says chuckling abit. "Maybe Haste knows you?" he said grinning at her.

Splinter shrugged. ''How long did interviews take?!'' Said Splinter as clenching his hoof.

Steve went near the exit from the stage to wait for Diamonds interview to end to talk strategy.

Diamond Quill sat down and smiled. "Hello, Flickerfire. How are you?"

"Just wonderful! And you?" Flickerfire's eyes grew wider with every word.

"I'm great and I see the Capitol is doing lovely as always!" Diamond Quill smiled. The crowd went wild. *They must REALLY like themselves* Diamond thought.

Fireworks walked away. She looked around. She sighed, she really wanted allies. Fireworks knew she would regret it if she shouted, but she didn't care. "HEY EVERYPONY, ANYPONY NEED ALLIES?!"she exclaimed.

Darkblade turned to Fireworks. "I will, but... why did you have to yell so loud! No... yell louder. I don't think the princess heard you... yet."

"My dear, you've been here not twenty seconds and the crowd loves you!" Flickerfire giggled. "So, how is your experience in the Capitol so far? What's your favorite part?" She took another sip of cider.

"The Capitol is wonderful!" Diamond exclaimed. "And my favorite part has not come up yet, no." Diamond smiled. The crowd murmured. "My favorite part will be when I defeat everyone in the Hunger Games and take my rightful place as Victor!" Diamond exclaimed. The audience cheered loudly. Everyone was clapping and shouting compliments. Diamond Quill smiled even brighter.

The crowd slowly quieted as Flickerfire began again. "My my. You sound awfully enthusiastic. So tell me. What were your thoughts and emotions on the day of the Reaping?"

Listen to her. She sounds like either a winner or a suck-up. Maybe both. Let's see, should I try to get an ally? Mayybe... no, too messy.

Haste looked at the screen gritting her teeth slowly **ugh, by the time I get to the interviews, all the sponsors will wan't her** she gritted her teeth even more **I got to think of something fast** she thought as she walked towards her Ally

Prince got the floor, "I'm getting tired.... What's wrong with you my friend?" prince asked he looked at the screen to check the time.

"I thought that I was going to win this. That is why I volunteered. I was also trying to protect the weaker from being hurt and humiliated" Diamond answered. That part was actually true.

Haste looked at Prince "oh sorry, it's just that that pony... she seems like she's going to get many sponsors" she looked away from the screen just as Diamond was going to say something else "the more sponsors others get the harder it'll be to win" she said looking down at her hooves
