Since Equestria Girls is apparently warmer than FiM, what if EqG promoted the pony series more? "Ekiben" are pretty popular amongst the locals (and tourists), so what if Equestria Girls over in Japan had pony promos for "EquiBen", train station bentos in limited time pony/ equine(Equi) shaped bento boxes (Ben)? What other things can possibly make FiM more warmly recieved in Japan? chaosprincess 1,067 March 21, 2017 Share March 21, 2017 Well to be honest the only time my little pony was big in other countries was the older generations and Japan back when generation 1 was released they had their own ponies called the takari pony they are really cute and as I said other countries of course we all know made the older generations as well since Hasbro signed the rights to other countries in order to make more sales which results in Hasbro making more money and I will put a picture of a takara pony so everybody can see how cute it is and generation 4 is aired in other countries of course , but its not as big as the older generations. There is a lot of Takara pony fakies out there more then the actual original takara ponies, but to be honest when it comes to any country your going to have those that love it and those that do not so Japan as a whole no, but some people within Japan possibly yes, but as I said that goes for any country and I would buy the takara ponies if they were released in America I find them so cute.
