A fresh perspective on Angel Bunny

I wonder if some of the more well known members of the Brony Analysis Community could do a positive review on Angel Bunny since he's had more episodes where he was being shown as either helpful or decent.

I bet they could. Angel certainly does get more time on the show than the other Mane Six' pets.

He IS a brat sometimes, but he's still got some good qualities.

He's more of one those characters people consider to be fun to hate kinda like a wrestling heel, so I don't see it happening.

Well, I'd probably find Angel Bunny aggravating if he were my pet, but his bratty personality is what endears me to him as a character, largely due to how he works off of Fluttershy's tendency to be a doormat.  Granted, Fluttershy has improved greatly in regards to assertiveness, and we've also  seen less of Angel in more recent seasons.  Plus, when we do see him we don't see as much of his bratty antics anymore.  Heck, he's kind of portrayed as the victim in his interactions with Discord and Zephyr.  

Maybe he has changed, but the more likely explanation is that the writers don't think Fluttershy is enough of a pushover anymore for his antics to be as entertaining or they don't want to show a regression on her part.  I suppose there is that time in Scare Master when he was a catalyst for getting her out of her comfort zone, but I can't think of something he's done lately that would fall under the category of his old antics, or at least not off the top of my head.  It has been a while since I've watched season 6 though, and the full season DVD set isn't out yet.

I've seen fanfictions where Fluttershy is a vampire (the Flutterstare & Bats!) & Angel Bunny is her Master Vampire.  Still, you're right.  There are plenty of examples where he is helpful & shown as caring for Fluttershy. More so than Opal or Gummy, for instance
