Pony Mothers?

With it being nearly Mother's day, why not talk about the mothers of MLP? Bonnie, Zacherle- mother of the entire MLP franchise, Lauren Faust, Mother of g4, andout cartoon horse moms, Twilight Velvet, mother of Twilight Sparkle, Shining Armor (and Spike, by extension), Cookie Crumbles- mother of Sweetie Belle and Rarity, Mrs. Shy- mother of Fluttershy and Zephyr Breeze, Pear Butter - mother of Apple Jack, Apple Bloom, and Big Mac, Windy Whistles- mother of Rainbow Dash, and Stormy Flare- Spitfire's mother.

Yunno I can't really tell which parent story is sadder. I mean AJ's parents passed away, Scootaloo is neglected by hers, and Spike never even met his! We're getting an AJ parent episode soon, but are we gonna know at all about Scoots' or Spike's?

Chrysalis' story is pretty sad- a mom who abandons her hive of children

Sad for the kids. That character should not be mentioned in the same breath as the other mothers we have seen on the show. I sincerely hope she goes the way of Sombra when she appears next -- bonus points if it is comes at the hands of Thorax.
