A bat's shadow RP (1x1 Rp w/ Maple Bat)

She took a second to wonder what he meant by that. Before she knew entirely she guessed she'd hurry through the portal.

After going through she look at Luna who was asleep at the moment She looked at Shadow. "I'll go over and wake her because she knows me."

She flew over to the bed side waited a second to look and make sure Luna was asleep after knowing that she was asleep Maple began to gently nudge her with her hooves until she started moving. "Sorry Lady Luna, but I have an urgent issue to discuses with you."

Luna began to get out of bed "Maple? What time is it" She looked outside and sighed "Its so early. I'm already up however so what is it?"

"I'm happy to report that believe I found the disturbance you and your sister felt in that canyon, Lady Luna." Maple told her "I'm even more happy to tell you he's harmless! Well I mean he's rather friendly."

Shadow nodded and sat down on a seat in the corner. When Maple woke up Luna, he cleared his throat and said, "Hello princess." He pulled a piece of flint out and grate his claw against it onto a candle, lighting it, then he took out the bottle out of the portal and started mixing them together into his bottle.

"He's a user of portal type magic" Maple said "It was probably messing with some sort of space time thing but hey my dad's capable of doing that and he's on our side. He was the only person I found there well on the surface at least."

Luna studied this newcomer for a second before whispering to Maple "How can you be sure that he's safe. Is there anything he's really done."

Maple thought about it for a second and said "Well for starters he didn't kill me when I attacked him. I shot at him and missed. I don't think he wants to harm anyone. Do you still feel the disturbance in the canyon?"

"No." Luna whispered "It has lessened in power and is now present here. However I trust your judgement I'll trust you but not him. Do try to fix whatever's causing it." She then went to go back to bed.

Maple nodded then saluted "I will ma'am."

Maple then walked over to Shadow "Well I can confirm you are the disturbance that or it followed us here which is unlikely, however Luna has given me a chance to help... Reform you? Well more like just make it so your less threatening to the royal sisters."

Shadow nodded and said, "I'll try, but it depends on my clients." He stood up and walked to the door. He silently opened it and slipped out. He looked both ways to see no one standing guard. He shrugged and headed towards the courtroom.

Maple shadowed him making sure he didn't do anything malicious as Shadow was now technically her responsibility.

I've never done something like this before She told herself Just be nice and he can learn from your example.

Shadow walked through the halls and noticed two guards doing nothing. He snatched up their weapons, making them jump up, and said as he handed back to them, "Keep sharp, you can't be lazy all day." They nodded and he walked off. He entered the courtroom and sat down in the shadows. He leaned back against on of the pillars and closed his eyes.

Maple saw that and if they where night guards she would have scolded them, they're supposed to be professionals as they are "the more important guard" as celestia and most of equestria would say.

After shining armor left the day guard has really started slipping perhaps I should bring this up to celestia She moved past where shadow was leaning to head to the royal throne room, and she wondered how this whole reformation thing would happen If things don't start working after a while then I can just ask mom for help.

Shadow was about to doze off when he felt a sharp piece of metal poking him. It wasn't hurting, but it was annoying. He opened an eye to see a guard standing there. He said as he closed his eyes, "Go away and quit poking me." He could hear the guard saying something, but he tuned it out. Then he felt that spear poking him again. Before the guard had time to react or scream. Shadow grabbed the spear, snapped it in half, and smack the guard with it. the guard stumbled a bit, then fell to the floor. Shadow dropped the spear and decided to see the kitchen is cooking.

After Maple finished talking to celestia about her guard (She kept it short and brief she returned to where Shadow had been. The guard that Shadow had hit was gone but there was still the broke spear laying on the ground.

She assumed this was Shadows work Well he probably provoked him or something She thought getting even more upset at the normal Royal Guard Guess I gotta go find him.

Shadow walked into the kitchen to see ponies walking around and cooking. He walked over to the fridge and grabbed a few spices. He opened a portal and went to grabbed a slab of meat, but stopped. He knew the ponies would probably run if they saw that, so he'll get it last. He instead grabbed a bowl and his drink and started mixing the drink with the spices together to make a coating. Then he grabbed the meat and started coating the meat in the liquid. Once he was done, he lightly cleaned off the liquid and cleaned up his mess, while holding the meat in his mouth.

When Maple walked by the kitchen She saw a portal open Oh there he is... What's he up too?

She started to move closer and saw he was cooking something Hmm... Seems like he know what he's doing. She eventually got close enough to see he was cleaning up a small mess he made. "Hey there. What'cha making?" She asked him

Shadow tore at the piece of meat and said after eating the bite, "Hey, I was hungry so I was coating a piece of meat with some spice to add more flavor to it." He placed half of what's left and tore it in half. He added after swallowing, "So where are we heading next?"

"How about we head to ponyville." She said "You could talk to my parents about stuff like why your magic is causing a disturbance where as discord's magic isn't as he would know."

Around then Maple's stomach growled "And maybe me be able get something to eat too." She still had the bag of food her mom gave her but it would be nice to eat something freshly made

Shadow nodded and said as he placed the rest of the meat into his mouth, "I can cook something up if ya like. Then afterward, we can head to your parent's house. I've been almost everywhere in Equestria, so I know my way around." He threw his head back and the piece of meat slid into his mouth. He walked over to an unused sink and washed his claws off.

"It's been a while since I've had an apple pie. It sounds good right now if you can make it." She was drooling a tiny bit when she said that but noticed it and wiped it away hoping he didn't notice "I don't eat any meat though cause you know... My mom wouldn't like that much."

Shadow nodded and said as he opened portals and pulled ingredients out, "It's fine, a lot of creatures don't." His shadow rose and looked like him, but darker, and started getting the filling done as the original worked on the crust. After 10-15 min, he placed it in the oven and his copy sunk into the ground. He sat down and said, "Do you want to wait for it, or shall we go and I can get once it's done?"

"We should wait for it cause when we get there she's gonna ask me if I'm hungry and I don;t want to lie and say no only for us to eat this pie later." She told him.

As she waited for the pie to cook she started to smell it. It smelled like heaven to her.

Shadow nodded and pulled a deck of cards out and started shuffling it. He didn't bother asking if she wanted to play, he's been dealling cards to be a professional at it. He got bored of shuffling after awhile and placed the deck back into his coat. When the timer went off, he got up and pull out. He said as he placed his claws on ice, "Here you go."

After letting the pie cool she began to eat it. "You know" She said after swallowing her first bite of pie "We could have played cards if you wanted too." She took several minutes to eat the entire pie

"Thank you for that. It was good!" She said "I'm ready to go now. You?"

Shadow nodded and said as he checked if his claws are hot, "I've been dealing cards for years, It might've been unfair." He opened a portal and stepped through. When he stepped out, in front of him was a small cottage. He sat down on the bridge and waited.

Maple came through the portal a bit after him "That must be easy for you seeing as you do it so much. It seems really convenient at times."

After saying that she headed towards fluttershy's cottage

Shadow stood up and nodded, he's been doing since he ran away from his mom. He shook his head to clear that thought out of his head and walked up to the door. When Maple was close, he knocked on the door, which sounded almost like someone was pounding instead of knocking

Faintly from inside they hear "oh who's knocking?... its really loud I think that a bear needs my help."

 "Probably Fluttershy do you want me to get the door dear?"

"yes... if you don't mind I mean."

"Don't worry I will."

When the door opened discord was standing there looking above shadows head expecting there to be a bear. Maple then flew into his line of sight "Hey dad! I made a new friend" She then gestured towards Shadow. "His names Shadow. He has some magic that's causing disturbances. Like how yours did."

Discord looked at shadow "Nice to meet you Shadow. I believe you already know who I am. Thank you for being friends with Maple she doesn't have many she would consider a friend." He then turned to Maple and said "Well I just started being nice and proper and it apparently stopped."

Fluttershy was at the door a bit after Maple introduced Shadow "oh.. uhh my names fluttershy."

Shadow made a small portal underneath his claw, pulled his hat out, and did a small bow to them as he held the hat on his chest, and said as he put it back on his head "I have heard of you from a lot of sources, some good and some bad, and it's a pleasure to meet you, Fluttershy. I think there's more to discuss on the fact of my abilities. May I please come in?"

"Oh, Yes you are welcome in." Discord motioned "Sorry about fluttershy she really does live up to her name." He chuckled a bit "Well try to describe your abilities to me and I'll see what I know."

Maple walked in when discord motioned and took a seat because she was interested in the conversation about to unfold.
