How did Shining Armor handle his air sickness before?

As revealed in Once upon a Zeppelin, Shining Armor gets airsick rather easily. But as a soldier, he probably got deployed fairly regularly. How did he handle it before?

Firstly, shouldn't this have a spoiler warning? I mean, it's nothing super duper extremely important, but still.  Well maybe not, because everything in this section would need a spoiler warning in that case.

Secondly as a response, I agree with Babyyoshi. Since the zeppelin right seemed like a big deal to all of them and considering Shining Armor's reaction, something in the air probably isn't used much. I mean... that has to be the only, most logical explanation.

I don't think Equestria has had many deployments on the front and we have never seen an Equestrian Military Vehicle. So, I believe it is fair to say that a military airship/zeppelin doesn't exist. Therefore, he never had to handle his air sickness.
