Malchoir sighs. He internally assesses the chances Ryan will survive this. Bolt Chaser does not seem like the quick and efficient villain. No, this baddie seems like just the type to want to toy with their prey rather than go for the kill. After all, why would Bolt want to break his favorite toys? Malchoir thus determines that Ryan will no doubt be injured, but will ultimately be spared.

 

Still, he would rather not take the risk of death or serious injury. “I know you aren’t going to listen, but remember that talk we had about patience? Y’know, the one where you didn’t listen that time, either.”

 

The cards reappear around Malchoir at his mental command. One of the cards slices itself in half and disappears. Malchoir transforms into a green version of himself made of slime, 6’ tall instead of the normal 3’. He tries placing a paw on Ryan’s mouth. The slime is sticky, so Ryan might find it difficult to open his mouth. “Patience is a virtue for a reason.”

Now muffled my the slime he try's to say "Let me go" he starts to glow a fanit blue "NOW" he yells

"Great job" Lightning walks up to Bolt holding Ryan in place " There, are you happy?" Lightning says to Bolt

"Quite." Bolt says "Now everypony! See this fool, he is you enemy! If you see him you kill on site! Ok?" The crowd cheers " Good. Now leave." Bolt says to Lightning

Lightning runs and picks up everyone with magic and puts a bubble around them, flying away he almost instantly breaks the sound barrier, flying very fast very far he stops and TP's them underground.

“Ryan,” Malchoir says, not changing back into normal form but not leaving slime on Ryan’s mouth (so he can talk clearly again). “We need to talk. As comrades and as friends. Now.”

"Fine" he was clearly angry Ty walked over "How'd it go?" he said cocking his head to one side

"How so?" Luna asks

" He knew it was us" Lightning replies

"Oh the bad guy knows uh oh" Ty said his cheerful self "What know all the rebels know to attack us" Ryan said getting up

“Ryan…” Malchoir sighs. “You are not a god. Even if you were, we are not gods. You didn’t just endanger your own life out there by jumping into things in far less than ideal conditions, you endangered ours as well. I have seen this situation before, where someone overestimates themselves, jumps in too soon, and ends up getting their teacher or best friend killed. I have seen people rush in without regard without realizing their own limitations only to be killed like a fly. There are far more ideal conditions to fight an enemy in than in their own base with their full forces intact. Even if you are powerful, poor tactics will get you killed. Even if you are indisputably stronger than what you are attacking, poor tactics will get you killed. Or your closest friends.”

"Exactly, you need to control anger. Ok?" Lightning says

He looks at them both and holds up one finger "1. I know I'm not a god" he hold two fingers up "2. I have different ways that seem suicidal" he holds up three fingers "And 3. I think about my tactics in my head before my enemy can think fast" he got up and walked away

Malchoir sighs. Once Ryan is out of earshot, he quotes: “Experience keeps a dear school, yet fools will learn in no other.” He continues speaking. “I am not convinced his ‘tactics’ would have ended well, especially when compared to the idea of not taking all of the enemy forces on at once. He may only learn patience the hard way.”

Ryan continued to walk through the cave "Maybe there right" he sighed just then he walked out of the tunnel to find rebels he hid In a bush "Did you hear about that dumb headghog who changlend Bolt chasser?" one asked another one laughed "He was screwed unless his friends were there" they all laughed

“That said,” Malchoir says, “Underground where?”

"In a old cave system, nopony should be down he-" He cuts himself off, hearing voices "Hide" Lightning turns himself invisible and points the group to a tunnel, then seals them inside. He starts to look of Ryan

The rebels continue to laugh he walks up to them "So you guys heard about that idiot right?" the rebels were to bussy laughing "Yeah he's an idoit alright" Ryan grabs one of them and troughs him agasnt a rock the other rebels stop laughing for shock "What was that?" on said afraid to turn around
