The few years up to when you turn 18 are a bit weird. People want you to act like an adult yet you can do almost nothing an adult can do. Me, being almost 20, I still have a few things that I can't do until I am 21 next year. Trust me on this, after 18 it's much better. The only thing you have to worry about is if you can pay all the bills :scoots:

Yeah, these years are going to be odd for me; I can already tell. :wat: I won't try to stop them from happening, not at all... but my transition to adulthood is officially reaching its end, even if I can't do everything until I'm 21. Life has been one hell of a ride so far... and if I had to guess, it's not going to slow down anytime soon.

God, I feel weird just thinking about being 21...

You are what again? All I have to worry about is college right now and getting a stable job afterwards.

Age? 17.

If it's a stable job you're after I'm sure the Apple Family has some openings. (:eww:)

Ok, back :)

Went with some ice cream bars for later (in the freezer for now) - double raspberry magnum and cadburies jelly poppin' candy

For now, strawberry ice cream (with strawberry pieces), strawberry yogurt, and cream (vanilla) soda - which are now in the blender :)

I suppose you like fruit, strawberry coming first, then!:icwudt:

Those were the years when I was completely numb to everything because of depression and such. I am 1000% glad I got over that crap. It does come and go somedays when I'm feeling really down but overall, I feel pretty great about myself and my prospect on my life. ;)

I can get you there, that's the same thing that went on with me last summer and still comes back sometimes. But it's from times like these that we get stronger, so I can now deal with the small waves that try to overwhelm me, during those dull, awful days!

Fun as in a sarcastic "fun". I didn't actually have fun, I was just emphasizing that it was meh.

My capability of getting sarcasm is showing off more and more...
Seriously, I'm getting dumber each day! Like last Saturday, when I apparently forgot how to open a can of beer.:baconmane:

I've seen many "adults" who are MUCH older then me and have not figured out what the hell they are going to do with their lives. I have a plan I want to set forth. I hope I can achieve so I'm not one of those failure adults. :fiery:

I'm hoping to try and be more confident in college, like I was before secondary school. Fingers crossed that it works out. :)

I doubt I'd ever be called a good leader, though! :P

Just believe in that, like I did! Everytime I missed an opportunity to test my confidency, I'd immediately become upset and tell myself not to behave this way anymore and put 100% effort to change things! And after a while it worked!:yay:

I can tell you’re already more mature than many adults. Many of you are. But actually being an adult scares me but excites me at the same time.

I believe it's time for me to start planning my future. As of now, I just know I want to move out. Journalism might be a great perspective for me, but I still have to see...but there's not much time left before being done with high school...oh man...:unamused:

Yeah, I'm still desperately trying to figure out what I want to do with my life... but I still haven't figured anything out yet... :wat: My time is running out, and I don't want to be unprepared.

Hey, that's only human; future prospects are naturally intimidating, due to how nebulous they are... but the only direction to march in in life is forward. :fluttershy:

I will tell you this right now, don't go down the path of doing minimum wage jobs for a lengthy period of time. You will lose your sanity while doing it. :twi:

Yeh, I relate to this. No idea what I want to do. I know that I want it to be something to do with my favourite school subject, but apart from that, I'm in the dark. :scoots:

The fact that none of us know what to expect after the enter in adulthood might scare (and to me, it does!), but when I remember I have plenty of hope, dreams and ideas, then everything gets immediately exciting and, why not, lovable!:pinkie:

If you put your mind to it, you can really achieve anything. You just have to work for it. :fluttershy:
