Guest June 10, 2018 Share June 10, 2018 (edited) http://www.ign.com/articles/2018/06/10/xbox-e3-sale-xbox-one-x So the recent leak suggests that the new retail price for Microsoft's 4K system will drop a good $100 and $150 for sale price. That will bring the One X to the same price as the PS4 Pro both at base price and sale price. For that price tag, the system is far more affordable and competitive as not only a game console but a competent 4K bluray/video streaming device. This may be the boon Microsoft needed to get those sales to pick up and to get the X on track. Remember when the 3DS got that big price slash so early in its life? That hugely boosted sales. This announcement may go live before the X is even a year old. Now the flip side to this is that it more or less is admittance that the One X is not selling that well, considering Sony has not dropped the price of the PS4 Pro despite approaching two years old, but that is not inherently a bad thing. This significant price drop may be a sign that Microsoft is willing to get competitive. I know $350 definitely has myself looking at the system as a way to play some of my old 360 games again, and ones I never got to experience. There is another double edged sword though... This drop so soon may piss off early adopters, but time will tell. What are your thoughts? Do you think the price drop will give the X an edge over the PS4 Pro and Switch? I personally think it's a big step in the right direction. Edited June 10, 2018 by Guest Fixed tag

FlutterVerse 19 June 10, 2018 Share June 10, 2018 (edited) Wish this would out sooner, when I bought an Xbox One S, then again I ain't complaining mine was used and had more memory than a new one. It's the discontinued 2tb model, I myself want to sell my xbox to get a better computer or a PS4 to play Detroit: Become Human. Who knows? Megas 28,139 June 10, 2018 Share June 10, 2018 I mean, it's not a bad price, but it's more or less a huge sign that it's not really selling well, especially if it's getting such a steep price drop in a short amount of time. I still can't see myself buying it again, especially since I was getting less and less use out of it and just found myself playing 360 games, to the point where I just kept my 360 and sold my One
Kai-rouken 146 June 11, 2018 Share June 11, 2018 I got so hyped when I saw this yesterday: ^I was like holy shit, $350?? No way! (That was actually the price I said the X should be all along to effectively and strategically undercut the Ps4 Pro's $400 price point). But then when I clicked on the link, it turned out to be a typo and the real price was $450.... stupid cock-teasing Gamestop website management >.<
