What if Scootaloo were licensed to Dreamworks?

What if our favorite flightless filly were temporarily removed from the FiM series,  perhaps tasked with an overseas assignment,  and used in a Dreamworks production of some sort? Perhaps in "How to Train Your Dragon" franchise, in a short? I can think of no better iP to use her in, since the main protagonists are both disabled, and one can't fly on his own. Perhaps she could learn a thing or two and bring the knowledge back to Equestria,  becoming a better pony and flying with borrowed viking inventions or something that could turn her scooter into  a hoverboard?

I don't really get it, but why DreamWorks?

Because Toothless, a cool dragon owned by Dreamworks, can't fly on his own. And Scoots can't fly, period. There's a lot of potential for Scootaloo, if she were ever in that franchise. Crossovers could become canon. Who knows?

I just don't feel like anypony should be trade into another corporation besides Hasbro. They will quickly loose her and never going to get her back.
