We say "Eierkuchen" instead of "Pfannkuchen" for Pancakes; and what we call "Pfannkuchen" others call "Berliner"

Ok, I just call it Brötchen or Doppelbrötchen.The term Semmel for a Doppelbrötchen is not familair for me. XD

And yes, I know that with the Berliner and Pfannekuchen. XD

Talking of food. What is a typical cuisine from your region?

My favourite cuisine is probably Asian (Chinese, Japanese). Not as heavy as European. Also i don't eat it that often, so it's something special every time. If i always ate it I'd probably call something else my favorite xD

Oh! Good one.

But no, it's just Simmel ; the E might have been there because it belongs to the Edeka group
