It would really depend on how the system of royalty works in hippogriff/seapony culture. Tho, as it stands, if something were to happen to both Novo and Skystar, then I would assume Novo's sister would take charge.

Honestly; it's an interesting thought. Something tells me that it's an oversight by the writers, but not necessarily something that was important to not, I suppose.

Being a princess or prince's cousin does not make you a prince or princess in the real world, as far as I know. It would all depend on the way things work in the kingdom of the hippogriffs. They are the same kingdom that has navy boats despite the fact that they can swim, after all.

They are not. If we go by British titles and gender isn't a factor considered upon inheritance, then Silverstream should currently be a marchioness as she is the eldest, and would likely be addressed as a Lady. She will eventually inherit the title of Duchess, and Terramar may become a Marquess unless/until Silverstream has Children. If he obtains that title, he will be addressed as a Lord. For now he would be addressed as the Honorable. He may become an Earl, but it's difficult to say what he will be at a certain point.
